7-Day Devotional: “Who Is a Stranger?” | Day 6 : Confront the Lie

7-Day Devotional: “Who Is a Stranger?” | Day 6 : Confront the Lie

Scripture:

1 Kings 3:21 (NKJV) – “But the other woman said, ‘No! But the living one is my son, and the dead one is your son.’”

The true mother didn’t stay silent. She spoke up with clarity, conviction, and courage. She refused to accept a counterfeit. Many tolerate lies in relationships—abuse, manipulation, betrayal—because they fear conflict or loss. But silence gives the enemy legal ground.

God honors those who stand for truth. Solomon’s wisdom was activated because one woman refused to normalize injustice.

Application:

Identify one area where you’ve accepted a “dead” version of what God promised you—whether in marriage, ministry, or purpose. Speak truth. Set boundaries. Refuse compromise.

Closing Prayer:

Lord, give me the boldness of the true mother. Help me reject every counterfeit and reclaim what You’ve ordained for me. Let my “no” be clear and my “yes” be holy. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
