PROPHETIC INSIGHT JULY 2017 . . . MY COVENANT MONTH OF PREVAILING PRAYER . . .

The unlimited power of prayer

From Scriptures, we learn that prayer carries unlimited power:

• Moses prayed and three million slaves went free; 
• Joshua prayed and the sun stood still; 
• Gideon prayed and with just 300 men he defeated the Midianite hordes; 
• Samson prayed and destroyed more Philistines in his death than in his whole life; 
• David prayed and killed Goliath, the giant, with a sling and a stone; 
• Elijah prayed and there was no rain for three-and-a-half years; he prayed again and fire came down from heaven; he prayed the more and rain resumed on the earth; 
• Isaiah prayed and an angel from God killed 185,000 Assyrian troops surrounding Jerusalem.

The 2 sides of prayer

There are always two sides to every prayer:

– the human and the divine 

– man’s side and God’s side, 

– the asking and the answering,

Praying with a specific until in mind

The unlimited power of prayer willl deliver in your life only if you pray with a specific "until" in mind. Until you define your "until" in prayer, prayer cannot deliver properly what is to be delivered in your life

We find 10 specific "until" in the Bible that you need to define in your spiritual life as you lay your life at the prayer altar.

1. SEEK THE LORD UNTIL HE COMES

"Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for [it is] time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you." (Hosea 10:12)

2. STAND STILL UNTIL YOUR CASE IS SETTLED

"Then said she, Sit still, my daughter, until thou know how the matter will fall: for the man will not be in rest, until he have finished the thing this day." (Ruth 3:18)

3. TARRY UNTIL GOD GIVES YOU A WORD

"See, I will tarry in the plain of the wilderness, until there come word from you to certify me." (2 Samuel 15:28) 

"When they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him." (Matthew 2:13)

4. PURSUE YOUR ENEMIES UNTIL YOU GET TOTAL VICTORY

"I have pursued mine enemies, and destroyed them; and turned not again until I had consumed them." (2 Samuel 22:38)

6. FIGHT YOUR BATTLE UNTIL YOU GET COMPLETE VICTORY

"He arose, and smote the Philistines until his hand was weary, and his hand clave unto the sword: and the LORD wrought a great victory that day; and the people returned after him only to spoil." (2 Samuel 23:10)

7. DO YOUR WORK UNTIL YOU HAVE FINISHED

"And David said to Solomon his son, Be strong and of good courage, and do [it]: fear not, nor be dismayed: for the LORD God, [even] my God, [will be] with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee, until thou hast finished all the work for the service of the house of the LORD." (1 Chronicles 28:20) 

"Now all the work of Solomon was prepared unto the day of the foundation of the house of the LORD, and until it was finished. [So] the house of the LORD was perfected." (2 Chronicles 8:16)

8. STAY ON THE MOUNTAIN UNTIL YOU GET THE BREAKTHROUGH

"Until the day break, and the shadows flee away, I will get me to the mountain of myrrh, and to the hill of frankincense." (Song of Solomon 4:6)

9. STAY IN THE UPPER ROOM UNTIL YOU ARE ENDUED WITH POWER

"And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high." (Luke 24:49)

10. LOOK FOR THE LOST COIN UNTIL YOU FIND IT

"What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?" (Luke 15:4)

11. TRAVAIL UNTIL YOU PREVAIL IN PRAYER

Genesis 32:26 Then the man said, "Let me go; it’s almost dawn." But Jacob answered, "I won’t let you go until you bless me."

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS FOR THE MONTH

# This month of prevailing prayer, I pray my Father to send you help from heaven so that you will be empowered to seek him tirelessly this month of July until he comes to shower you with his righteousness. Let it be so in the Name of Jesus Christ!

POWER OF THE PRAYER ALTAR DAY 31 "GOD DOES NOT ONLY ANSWER PRAYERS. HE ALSO ANSWERS QUESTIONS.

SCRIPTURE

Psalms 94:9 "He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?"

KEY STATEMENT:

God does not only answer prayers. He also answers questions. 

1st CASE JOSHUA

# After Joshua lost his battle against the people of Ai, the Bible says that He went in the presence of God to ask him questions. He wanted to know the reason of the defeat.

Joshua 7:7 (GW)  Joshua said, "ALMIGHTY LORD, WHY did you bring these people across the Jordan River? Was it to hand us over to the Amorites so that they could destroy us? I wish we had been content to live on the other side of the Jordan!

God heard him and answered his question. He revealed the hidden cause. 

Joshua 7:10-11 (GW) 10 The Lord said to Joshua, "Get up! WHAT ARE YOU DOING BOWING ON THE GROUND? 11 ISRAEL HAS SINNED. They have ignored the requirements that I have placed on them. They have taken what I claimed for myself and put it among their own goods. They have not only stolen, but they have also lied.

2nd CASE DAVID

Many times in his life, David used to ask God questions about what to do and where to go. Every time,  God answered him and showed him the way forward. 

In 2 Samuel 2:1 the Bible says, that "DAVID ENQUIRED OF THE LORD, saying, Shall I go up into any of the cities of Judah? AND THE LORD SAID UNTO HIM, Go up. And David said, Whither shall I go up? And he said, Unto Hebron.

We read in 2 Samuel 5:19  that "DAVID ENQUIRED OF THE LORD, saying, Shall I go up to the Philistines? wilt thou deliver them into mine hand? AND THE LORD SAID UNTO DAVID, Go up: for I will doubtless deliver the Philistines into thine hand."

Again concerning David, when we read in 1 Chronicles 14:10, And DAVID ENQUIRED OF GOD, saying, Shall I go up against the Philistines? and wilt thou deliver them into mine hand? AND THE LORD SAID UNTO HIM, Go up; for I will deliver them into thine hand.

Verse 14 Therefore DAVID ENQUIRED AGAIN OF GOD; AND GOD SAID UNTO HIM, Go not up after them; turn away from them, and come upon them over against the mulberry trees.

3rd CASE THE DISCIPLES OF JESUS CHRIST

After the disciples failed to cast out an evil spirit, they came before the Lord to ask him  the why of their failure. 

The Bible says in Matthew 17:19 "Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out?"

Jesus heard them and answered their question as we read in Matthew 17:21"Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting."

PERSONAL APPLICATION

Today is the last day of January and of our study about the prayer altar. 

A) Is there any area of your life that is not working properly? Are you going through defeats in your emotion ? in your feelings ? in your relationship? in your spiritual life? in your business ? Why don't you set time apart like Joshua and ask God questions? GOD DOES NOT ONLY ANSWER PRAYERS. HE ALSO ANSWERS QUESTIONS.  

B) Do you feel confused ? Do you need direction? Do you need guidance? Do you want to know the steps to take to your next level ? Set time apart like David and ask God questions. GOD DOES NOT ONLY ANSWER PRAYERS. HE ALSO ANSWERS QUESTIONS.  

C) Do you find yourself in a place of powerlessness in your fight against the devil and his demons ? Do you find yourself defeated by the powers of darkness? Are you assaulted by the enemy in your health? in your finances?  GOD DOES NOT ONLY ANSWER PRAYERS. HE ALSO ANSWERS QUESTIONS.  You can go to the Lord and ask him questions. He will answer you.

POWER OF THE PRAYER ALTAR DAY 30 "THE ONE AND ONLY THING THAT ENTITLES YOU TO YOUR DUE SEASON"

SCRIPTURE

Psalms 69:13 But as for me, my prayer [is] unto thee, O LORD, [in] an acceptable time: O God, in the multitude of thy mercy hear me, in the truth of thy salvation. 

KEY STATEMENT

Our God is the God of due season who always answers prayers in due season.

WHAT IS THE MEANING OF DUE SEASON?

The Greek word for “due” is “idios.” It means “ones own” or “distinct” or “personal.” 

The Greek for “season” is “kairos” which can mean a number of things, but specifically here it can mean “a suitable time or favorable moment or opportunity where you can take advantage of things coming to a head.” 

THE ONE AND ONLY THING THAT ENTITLES  YOU TO YOUR DUE SEASON IS CONTINUITY 

• CONTINUITY MEANS "PRAY AND FAINT NOT"

The Bible says in Galatians 6:9 

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

• CONTINUITY MEANS "PRAY ALWAYS"

Ephesians 6:18 "Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints"

Luke 21:36 "Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man."

• CONTINUITY MEANS "WITHOUT CEASING "

1 Thessalonians 5:17 "Pray without ceasing."

2 Timothy 1:3 "I thank God, whom I serve from my forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day"


Acts 12:5 Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.

• CONTINUITY MEANS "CONTINUALLY"

Acts 1:14 These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren. 

Acts 6:4  But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.

Colossians 4:2 Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;

POWER OF THE PRAYER ALTAR DAY 28 "HOW YOU COME TO THE ALTAR DETERMINES THE OUTCOME OF YOUR PRAYER"

SCRIPTURES

Luke 8:46 "And Jesus said, somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me."


2 Kings 1:13 "The third captain of fifty went up, and came and fell on his knees before Elijah, and besought him, and said unto him, O man of God, I pray thee, let my life, and the life of these fifty thy servants, be precious in thy sight."

KEY STATEMENT

Our God and Father is the prayer answering God. Throughout Scriptures it is an indubitable fact that God indeed is the God who answers prayers. However, how one comes to God determines what the outcome of his prayers

1st case : The woman who was bleeding for 12 years

The woman in this text never made any prayer to Jesus but came to him in a way that caused a virtue (a supernatural power and energy) to go out of Him and terminate 12 years of plague in her life. 

2nd case : The 3 officers who came to arrest the prophet Elijah

In 2 Kings chapter 1: 9-13, we read the story of a king who sent 3 officers to arrest Elijah who was seated on top of a hill.

All three officers who came to Elijah called him "man of God" because they all knew who Elijah was. But their attitudes to him were very different.

The first two officers were very proud and came proudly to arrest him. As a matter of fact, according to the way they came to the man of God, the outcome was that fire came from heaven to burn all them. 

But the third officer was genuinely humble. He urged Elijah to be merciful to him.

In 2 Kings 1:13, the Bible says 

"The third captain of fifty went up, and came and fell on his knees before Elijah, and besought him, and said unto him, O man of God, I pray thee, let my life, and the life of these fifty thy servants, be precious in thy sight."

He did not try to order Elijah to do anything. Instead, this officer asked Elijah to save the lives of himself and his men. The outcome was that for him, Elijah did not command fire to burn them.

We understand therefore that the outcome of our prayer is function of the way we come to the altar. How acceptable we come to the altar secures and guarantees how effective the outcome of our prayer will be.

HOW TO COME ACCEPTABLY FOR AN EFFECTIVE OUTCOME?

1) Come with thanksgiving and praise (an attitude of gratitude)

Psalms 100:4 ENTER into his gates WITH THANKSGIVING, and into his courts WITH PRAISE : be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

2) Come boldly (not with hesitation, not with doubt but with confidence)

Hebrews 4:16 "Let us therefore COME BOLDLY unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need."

 3) Come with humility and godly respect (reverence,...)

James 4:8-10 "DRAW NIGH TO GOD, and he will draw nigh to you [...] HUMBLE YOURSELVES in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up."

4) Come with a true heart (not with hypocrisy, not with pretence but honestly and sincerely)

Hebrews 10:22 Let us DRAW NEAR WITH A TRUE HEART in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

5) Come in full assurance of faith (absolute conviction, trust and confidence in God's power)

Hebrews 10:22 Let us DRAW NEAR ... IN FULL ASSURANCE OF FAITH, ...

6) Come with a pure conscience (no guilt, no sin,...)

Hebrews 10:22 Let us DRAW NEAR ... having our HEARTS SPRINKLED FROM AN EVIL CONSCIENCE, and our bodies washed with pure water.

7) Come with thirst (with expectation, desperation, determination, perseverance, eagerness, ...)  

Isaiah 55:1 Ho, EVERY ONE THAT THIRSTETH, COME YE to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS AND PRAYERS

1. I PRAY MY GOD AND FATHER TO FILL YOU WITH THE SPIRIT OF THANKSGIVING AND PRAISE SO THAT YOU WILL ENTER EFFECTIVELY INTO HIS PRESENCE.

2. I PRAY MY GOD AND FATHER TO BAPTIZE YOU WITH BOLDNESS AND CONFIDENCE. LET DOUBT BE SWALLOWED IN THE STREAM OF FAITH IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!

3. I PRAY MY GOD AND FATHER TO FILL YOU WITH HUMILITY, GODLY RESPECT AND REVERENCE SO THAT YOU WILL DRAW ACCEPTABLY TO HIS THRONE IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!

4. I PRAY MY FATHER TO GIVE YOU A TRUE HEART. I PRAY GOD TO DESTROY HYPOCRISY AND PRETENCE IN YOUR HEART. MAY THE HOLY SPIRIT BUILD HONESTY AND SINCERETY IN YOU IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!

DECLARE AND PRAY ______________________________

5. I PRAY THE FATHER TO CAUSE YOU TO GROW IN FULLNESS OF ASSURANCE OF FAITH. I PRAY THE FATHER TO BUILD IN YOU AN ABSOLUTE CONVICTION, TRUST AND CONFIDENCE IN HIS POWER IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!

DECLARE AND PRAY ______________________________

6. I PRAY THAT THE POWER OF THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST PURIFIES AND PURGES YOUR CONSCIENCE. I PRAY THAT THE POWER OF GOD’S FORGIVENESS BECOME A REALITY IN YOU SO THAT ANY TRACE OF GUILT WILL BE DESTROYED IN YOU IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!

7.  I PRAY THE HOLY SPIRIT TO CREATE AN UNQUENCHABLE THIRST IN YOUR HEART AND SPIRIT. I PRAY MY FATHER TO FILL YOU WITH EXPECTATION, DESPERATION, DETERMINATION, PERSEVERANCE AND EAGERNESS IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!

POWER OF THE PRAYER ALTAR DAY 25 "ALTAR OF DIVINE REMEMBRANCE"

Scripture: Genesis 41:9-13

KEY STATEMENT : Until a man is divinely remembered, he remains in obscurity.

God never forgets anyone. The all-knowing God could never forget to do whatever He promises to do. God is ever alert and sensitive to the performance of anything He says He will do. 

God says himself in Isaiah 49:15, 

”Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee” 

So if God never forgets, what does it mean when the Bible says "God remembered so and so" ? or when some people pray God to remember them?

Divine remembrance does not mean that God can ever forget. It means God's special and particular attention toward someone. The same way you zoom your camera lens on an object, divine remembrance zooms God’s attention on the remembered.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN DIVINE REMEMBRANCE IS AT WORK?

1) When God remembered Noah, he made a wind blow over the earth and the water to go down. 

Genesis 8:1 God remembered Noah and all the wild and domestic animals with him in the ship. So God made a wind blow over the earth, and the water started to go down.

2) When God remembered Abraham's prayer, he allowed Lot to escape from destruction.

Genesis 19:29 When God destroyed the cities on the plain, he remembered Abraham. Lot was allowed to escape from the destruction that came to the cities where he was living.

3) When God remembered Rachel, Hannah, he opened their womb and allowed them to conceive.

Genesis 30:22 Then God remembered Rachel. God answered her prayer and made it possible for her to have children. 

1 Samuel 1:19 And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before the LORD, and returned, and came to their house to Ramah: and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the LORD remembered her.

4) When God remembered the covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, he came down to terminate 430 years of slavery, of groaning, of servitude in Egypt.

Exodus 2:24 And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob. 

Exodus 6:5 And I have also heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage; and I have remembered my covenant.

5) When Moses prayed and asked God to remember the covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, God made a U-turn from his decision to destroy the people of Israel.

Exodus 32:13 Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, thy servants, to whom thou swarest by thine own self, and saidst unto them, I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have spoken of will I give unto your seed, and they shall inherit [it] for ever.

6) When God remembers a man, those who have forgotten him will just suddenly remember him.

Case no 1 The butler who had forgotten about Joseph for two full years suddenly remembered Joseph.

Genesis 40:23 Yet did not the chief butler remember Joseph, but forgat him.

Genesis 41:9 Then spake the chief butler unto Pharaoh, saying, I do remember my faults this day:

Case no 2 The King who had forgotten Mordecai for years had a sleepless night just to remember him.

Esther 6:1 On that night could not the king sleep, and he commanded to bring the book of records of the chronicles; and they were read before the king.

WHAT TO DO TO CAUSE AND TRIGGER DIVINE REMEMBRANCE?

1) BUILD THE ALTAR OF PRAYER

Isaiah 38:2 Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall, and prayed unto the LORD, 

Isaiah 38:3 And said, Remember now, O LORD, I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done [that which is] good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore. [...] 

Isaiah 38:5 Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years.

2) OFFER SACRIFICES

- Sacrifice of thanksgiving

Psalms 107:22 And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing. 

Psalms 116:17 I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD. 

- Sacrifice of praise

Hebrews 13:15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of [our] lips giving thanks to his name.

- Sacrifice of your body

Romans 12:1 Brothers and sisters, in view of all we have just shared about God’s compassion, I encourage you to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, dedicated to God and pleasing to him. This kind of worship is appropriate for you.

3) VOW A VOW

1 Samuel 1:11 And she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head.

4) REMIND GOD HIS COVENANT

Exodus 2:24 And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob.

5) GIVE OFFERINGS

Psalms 20:3 [The Lord will] send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion; remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice; Selah. 

6) CONTINUE TIRELESSLY TO DO GOOD WORKS

Case no 1 The Lord remembered Dorcas and brought her back to life remembering the coats and garments she used to make for others.

Case no 2 The Lord remembered Mordecai and promoted him causing the king to remember the good works he did to him.

Esther 6:11 Then took Haman the apparel and the horse, and arrayed Mordecai, and brought him on horseback through the street of the city, and proclaimed before him, Thus shall it be done unto the man whom the king delighteth to honour.

Case no 3 The Lord remembered Cornelius'gifts to the poor and heard his prayer and saved him.

Acts 10:31 "He said to me, ‘Cornelius, God has heard your prayer and has remembered your gifts to the poor."

 7) REMIND GOD HIS PROMISE

Psalm 105:42 For he remembered his holy promise, and Abraham his servant. 43 And he brought forth his people with joy, and his chosen with gladness: 44 And gave them the lands of the heathen: and they inherited the labour of the people;

# God had remembered Joseph. Joseph was not the only prisoner, but when God brought him into focus, he was the one the king sent for.

POWER OF THE PRAYER ALTAR DAY 24 "EL-ELOHE-ISRAEL, MY FAMILY ALTAR "

SCRIPTURE 

"And Jacob erected there an altar, and called it Elelohe-Israel." (Genesis 33:20)

KEY STATEMENT 

By calling this altar "El-Elohe-Israel," or God the God of Israel, Jacob is virtually saying, "I erect this altar for the worship of my family, to the God with whom I have prevailed in supplication, and who has proved Himself the hearer of my prayer." Such an altar should there be in every household.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE FAMILY ALTAR IS BROKEN DOWN?

1) When the family altar is broken down, the house stops being the house of prayer and becomes a den of thieves. 

"And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves." (Matthew 21:13)

2) When the family altar is broken down, the house becomes the habitation of devils and the hold of every foul spirit.

"And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird." (Revelation 18:2)

3) When the family altar is broken down, the fire of love is quenched in the heart and the house becomes a place where the members hurt one another

"And they cried aloud, and cut themselves after their manner with knives and lancets, till the blood gushed out upon them." (1 Kings 18:28)

4) When the family altar is broken down, other ungodly altars will be set up in place of it and it will cause tears, misery, dryness, death, stubborn children, unsettlements, financial struggles, evil cycles, misfortunes etc.

CASE 1 : The family altar was broken down in the house of Eli the priest. As a matter of fact, his sons were so ungodly that God killed them.

"The sin of Eli’s sons was a serious matter to the LORD, because these men were treating the offerings made to the LORD with contempt." (1 Samuel 2:17)

CASE 2 : The family altar was broken down in the house of Elimelek who left Bethlehem to go to Moab. As a matter of fact, it opened a door to a cycle of misfortunes and miseries : he died, his two boys died also, he lost his wealth and properties ...

"And Elimelech Naomi’s husband died; and she was left, and her two sons." (Ruth 1:3)

"And Mahlon and Chilion died also both of them; and the woman was left of her two sons and her husband." (Ruth 1:5)

WHAT TO DO?

• LIKE ELIJAH, REPAIR THE FAMILY ALTAR

There are accounts in the Bible where altars had to be repaired. Then when the altar was repaired, sacrifice and prayer was offered up. Then something happened. Then the fire fell. 

 “And Elijah…repaired the altar of the Lord that was broken down…” (1 Kings 18:30-38)

"Then the fire of the LORD fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that [was] in the trench. (1 Kings 18:38)

• LIKE JESUS IN THE TEMPLE, OVERTURN AND OVERTHROW THE TABLES OF THE MONEYCHANGERS (all those evil spirits making illegal transactions in your house, bringing distraction, ...)

Matthew 21:12 "And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves," 

• LIKE OBEDEDOM, KEEP THE ARK OF THE LORD IN THE CENTER OF YOUR HOUSE

2 Samuel 6:11 And the ark of the LORD continued in the house of Obededom the Gittite three months: and the LORD blessed Obededom, and all his household. 

• LIKE DAVID, BE THE KING AND THE PRIEST WHO EVERYDAY BLESS YOUR HOUSEHOLD (pray everyday as a family, keep the family altar on fire, ...)

1 Chronicles 16:43 And all the people departed every man to his house: and David returned to bless his house.

POWER OF THE PRAYER ALTAR DAY 23 "PRAYER, KEY TO POWER WITHOUT LIMIT"

 SCRIPTURE : Luke 4:1; Luke 4:14; Luke 9:43; Ephesians 1:19

   Luke 4:1"Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,..." 

Luke 4:14 "Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about."
Luke 9:43 And they were all amazed at the mighty power of God. But while they wondered every one at all things which Jesus did, he said unto his disciples, 
Ephesians 1:19 And what [is] the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,  20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set [him] at his own right hand in the heavenly [places],

   KEY STATEMENT : After Jesus' baptism, the Bible says that "he was full of the Holy Ghost". After spending 40 days of prayer and fasting in the wilderness, he "returned in the power of the Spirit". As he continued in his ministry, he grew in power until people were all amazed "at the mighty power of God". At his death, the Father raised him by deploying the highest level of power called "the exceeding greatness of his power". 

SPIRIT WITHOUT LIMIT

The Bible says concerning Jesus Christ that he had received from the Father the Spirit without limit:

   John 3:34 "For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure [unto him]."

Because of the unlimited measure of the Spirit in Jesus Christ, throughout his ministry on earth, He was swimming in an unusual and unlimited flow of power:  

•   He preaches with power

   Luke 4:32 And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his word was with power. 

•   He casts out demons with authority and power

Luke 4:36 And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word [is] this! for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out.

•    He has power to heal all diseases

   Luke 5:17 And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was [present] to heal them.

•    He has power to forgive sins

   Luke 5:24 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, (he said unto the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thine house.

•    His life amazes people  because of his power

   Luke 9:43 And they were all amazed at the mighty power of God. But while they wondered every one at all things which Jesus did, he said unto his disciples,

•   He is a prophet mighty in deed and word

   Luke 24:19 And he said unto them, What things? And they said unto him, Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, which was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people:

PRAYER, KEY TO POWER WITHOUT LIMIT

  The key to the Spirit without limit order of life in Jesus was   prayer

•  Prayer causes him to be transfigured before his disciples

Luke 9:29 "… as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment [was] white [and] glistering."

•    Prayer causes heaven to be opened above his head and remains opened all the days of his life

Luke 3:21 Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened, 

•    Prayer causes to radiate supernatural authority over evil spirits

Luke 9:42 And as [Jesus] was yet a coming [from the mountain], the devil threw him down, and tare [him]. And Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, and healed the child, and delivered him again to his father. 

•    Prayer transforms his body to the point that he us able to walk on the water 

  Matthew 14:23 And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone [...] Matthew 14:25 And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea.

•    Prayer precedes critical decisions of his life

   Luke 6:12 And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God. Luke 6:13 And when it was day, he called [unto him] his disciples: and of them he chose twelve, whom also he named apostles;. 

• Prayer opens his day, escorts his day and closes his day at the point that people were coming to him to hear him

Mark 1:35 And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed. 

Luke 21:38 And all the people came early in the morning to him in the temple, for to hear him.

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS AND PRAYERS
