⏩ COVENANT OF INFALLIBLE PROOFS ⏪ DAY 30 "7 LAWS FOR A LIFE OF INFALLIBLE PROOFS"

INTRODUCTION

We are thankful and grateful for God's faithfulness throughout the Month of infallible proofs. We can testify that we have encountered and experienced living proofs in divers ways for which we say THANK YOU JESUS !

TODAY IS the last day of our covenant of infallible proofs. As we close the month, we believe without any shadow of doubt that from henceforth, our life will be crowned with living proofs in the Name of Jesus Christ.

However, to cause the flow of living proofs to continue in our lfe, here are some vital laws :

LAW 1 : Infallible proofs of Jesus' resurrection are not for those who visit the secret place of the most high. They are for those who dwell and abide. stop settling for enjoying the fellowship with god and start partaking in the name of Jesus Christ.
Psalms 91:1 "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty."
LAW 2Infallible proofs of Jesus' resurrection answer to your spiritual growth. If your relationship and fellowship with god is not growing, it is a clear indication that you are spiritually dying.
John 15:15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

LAW 3 Infallible proofs of Jesus' resurrection answer to your spiritual thirst and hunger. Nothing ever grow where there is no thirst and no hunger. Anytime the devil would like to kill your spiritual growth, he will start killing your thirst and hunger for god.
John 7:37 On the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus got up and said in a loud voice, If any man is in need of drink let him come to me and I will give it to him.

LAW 4Infallible proofs of Jesus' resurrection usher you into the realm of supernatural, extraordinary and strange things. For the sake of Jesus’ resurrection, stop living as an ordinary man. Stop expecting only ordinary things. Stop being victim of things ordinary people are victim of.

LAW 5 :  Infallible proofs of Jesus' resurrection entitle you to become a living proof. Proofs never need many words. They speak loud by themselves. For the sake of Jesus’ resurrection, stop living in this world as a question mark. Stop living as a pitiable and deplorable man.
Luke 5:26 "And they were all amazed, and they glorified God, and were filled with fear, saying, We have seen strange things today."

LAW 6 Infallible proofs of Jesus' resurrection answer not only to power but also to the exceeding greatness of God's power.
Romans 8:11 "But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwelleth in you."

LAW 7 : God's power is compared with soap in the bathroom. No matter how good smelling is the soap, no matter how able the soap is to remove the stain or the dust, no matter how able the soap is to make clean, as long as I don't take it and don't apply it on my body, it cannot do anything to me.

⏩ COVENANT OF INFALLIBLE PROOFS ⏪ DAY 28 "LORD, DISPEL MY DARKNESS " (2 Samuel 22:29)

When the Bible speaks about the power of darkness, we have to understand that darkness is the greatest asset of the devil and his demons while light is the greatest weapon to deal with it.

In Christ, we are delivered from the power and transferred to the Kingdom of Light as Paul confirms in Colossians 1:13
"Who has delivered us from the power of darkness, and has translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son"

God the Father is Light . . .
James 1:17 "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom is no ficklenss, neither shadow of turning."
1 John 1:5 "God is light, and in him is no darkness at all."
Jesus Christ the Son of God is Light . . .
John 8:12 "Then spoke Jesus again to them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life."
John 9:5 "As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world."
The Word of God is Light . . .
2 Peter 1:19 "We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto you do well that you take heed, as to a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts"
The believer is Light . . .
Matthew 5:14 "You are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid."

WHY DOES THE DEVIL REIGN IN DARKNESS?

From Scriptures, darkness is the only place where the devil's power is effective.

Why does the devil reign in darkness?

1) The devil reigns where there is darkness because darkness is the absence of light.

The place where the devil reign is only in darkness. As soon as light appears, darkness automatically disappears and when darkness disappears, the devil loses his grip.
John 1:5 "And the light shines in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not."

2) The devil reigns where there is ignorance because darkness is the symbol of ignorance.

In the parables of the sower, in Matthew 13:19, Jesus confirms once more that the ignorance of the believers is the enthronement of the devil. Whenever the hearer of the Word does not understand the Word, the enemy takes advantage to snatch it leaving him fruitless.

"When any one hears the word of the kingdom, and understands it not, then comes the wicked one, and catches away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side."

In John 12:35, Jesus equals darkness with ignorance when he says,
"... He that walks in darkness knows not where he goes."

Again, in Luke 11:52 Jesus makes it clear that the devil will always use the weapon of ignorance to establish and continue his reign over people. For that reason, he bluntly rebukes the lawyers saying to them,
"Woe to you, lawyers! for you have taken away the key of knowledge: you entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in you hindered."

3) The devil reigns where there is hatred because darkness means evil and hatred

In John 3:20, the Lord Jesus says,
"Every one that does evil hates the light, neither comes to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

In 1 John 2:11, the apostle John confirms the saying of Jesus saying,
"But he that hates his brother is in darkness, and walks in darkness, and knows not where he goes, because that darkness has blinded his eyes."
LORD, DISPEL MY DARKNESS
1) The area where the power of darkness challenges your gate  you need the power of light to overcome it.
Isaiah 45:3 "I will give you the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that I, the LORD, which call you by your name, am the God of Israel."
2) Where the enemy sets gatekeepers at your gate to challenge the fulfilment of your prophetic word, you need to engage prayer to release angelic reinforcement to terrify them and role away the stone.
Matthew 28:2 "And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat on it."

3) When the enemy besieges you and places you in a place of confinement, you need to engage a foundation shaking praise that will cause all the closed doors to be opened.
Acts 16:25-26 "And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises to God: and the prisoners heard them. 26 And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed."

PROPHETIC PRAYERS

PRAYER 1 | DEALING WITH A DESPITEFUL HEART

Father,  we come before you today to pray for our heart. Heal us from any revengeful and despiteful heart. Teach us to forgive to others as you forgive unto us.
Ezekiel 25:15 KJVS "Thus saith the Lord God ; Because the Philistines have dealt by revenge, and have taken vengeance with a despiteful heart, to destroy it for the old hatred"
Ezekiel 35:5 KJVS "Because thou hast had a perpetual hatred, and hast shed the blood of the children of Israel by the force of the sword in the time of their calamity, in the time that their iniquity had an end"

PRAYER 2 | PRAYER TO RISE ABOVE FEAR AND DEMONIC THREAT

Father, we pray that you grant unto us strength, courage, boldness to rise above the powers of darkness so that your assignment will be fulfilled trough us.
Ezekiel 2:6 And thou, son of man, BE NOT AFRAID of them, NEITHER BE AFRAID of their words, though briers and thorns [be] with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: BE NOT AFRAID of their words, NOR BE DISMAYED at their looks, though they [be] a rebellious house.
Acts 4:29 And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word,
2 Kings 19:16 LORD, bow down thine ear, and hear: open, LORD, thine eyes, and see: and hear the words of Sennacherib, which hath sent him to reproach the living God.
PRAYER 3 | PRAYER AGAINST THE HIGH PLACES OF DEMONIC WORSHIP

Father, by the virtue of the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, we speak to all the mountains of Kenya and of the world. We speak to the hills, to the rivers and to the valleys ....Let them hear the Word of the Lord and submit to the King in the Name of Jesus Christ!
Ezekiel 6:3 And say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys; Behold, I, [even] I, will bring a sword upon you, and I will destroy your high places.
Ezekiel 6:4 And your altars shall be desolate, and your images shall be broken: and I will cast down your slain [men] before your idols.

PRAYER 4 | PRAY FOR A LIFE OF LIGHT

Father, help us to live in the light everywhere. Expose the works done in darkness. Bring them to the light of the day. We curse every evil work done in secret.
Ezekiel 8:12 Then said he unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen WHAT THE ANCIENTS OF THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL DO IN THE DARK, every man in the chambers of his imagery? for they say, The LORD seeth us not; the LORD hath forsaken the earth.
Ezekiel 8:16 And he brought me into the inner court of the LORD’S house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the LORD, between the porch and the altar, [were] about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the LORD, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east.

PRAYER 5 | BEYOND THE SHEEP’S CLOTHING

Father, let the power of your light expose the real identity of the people who are hiding behind the sheep’s clothing among your sheepfold.
1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know [them], because they are spiritually discerned.
SO SHALL IT BE!
JESUS IS LORD!

⏩ COVENANT OF INFALLIBLE PROOFS ⏪ DAY 27 "ENERGIZE YOURSELF"

SCRIPTURE
Isaiah 40:30-31 "Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: 31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."
KEY STATEMENT

Everyone tends to feel discouraged or depressed for one reason or another. For centuries, people have been plagued by the virus of discouragement. Those who failed to deal with it properly ended up stagnating in life. Those who dealt with it in a proper way paved their way to scale greater heights in life.

ELIJAH, DAVID AND JOHN THE BAPTIST
  • Elijah faced discouragement because of emotional letdown. Swallowed by discouragement, he prayed God to take away his life.
Elijah was victorious in defeating Baal's false prophets on Mt. Carmel. However, he remained fearful of Jezebel's revenge and fled to the cave.
Elijah came to a broom bush, sat down under it and prayed that he might die. "I have had enough, Lord," he said. "Take my life; I am no better than my ancestors." Then he lay down under the bush and fell asleep. (1 Kings 19:4-5, Holy Bible - New International Version)

  • David faced discouragement after being defeated by the Amalekites.
It is written in 1 Samuel 30:3-4

"When David and his men reached Ziklag, they found it destroyed by fire and their wives and sons and daughters taken captive. So, David and his men wept aloud until they had no strength left to weep?
  • John the Baptist faced discouragement while in prison. He got offended at Christ and allowed doubt to take control of him. He died in prison.
He was a man of God who was facing doubts in that dark prison cell. He asked Jesus,
Are you the coming One, or do we look for another?"(Matthew 11:2)

WHAT CAUSES DISCOURAGEMENT?

1st cause : Failure

Sometimes, the best laid plans fall apart, the project collapses, the deal falls through, one shows up to the event.

How do you react? Do you give in to self-pity? Do you blame others? As one man said, "Just when I think I can makes ends meet --somebody moves the ends! That's discouraging!

2nd cause : Fatigue

Fatigue is not only physical. It can also be emotional, psychological, or even spiritual.

When you’re physically or emotionally exhausted, you’re a prime candidate to be infected with discouragement. Your defenses are lowered and things can seem bleaker than they really are. This often occurs when you’re halfway through a major project and you get tired.

It is normal to get tired. Jesus was physically tired. But the good thing is to know how to be refreshed, to make a new start.

3rd cause : Frustration

Frustration is the feeling of being upset, annoyed or disappointed, especially because of inability to change or achieve something.

4 THINGS TO DO TO ENERGIZE YOURSELF

What does it mean to energize? It means to give energy or excitement to someone or something. It is also to give vitality and enthusiasm to someone or something.

1st thing : ENERGIZE YOURSELF BY GIVING YOURSELF GOOD REASONS TO FLY HIGH

Isaiah 40:30-31 "Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: 31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."

A WORD FOR YOU : When tiredness comes, there's a message behind: stop to rely on your strength and start to rely on the strength from above. Stop to rely on the natural. Start to rely on the supernatural. This is the first cure.

2nd thing : ENERGIZE YOURSELF BY ENCOURAGING YOURSELF IN THE LORD

1 Samuel 30:6 "David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God."

A WORD FOR YOU : Don't wait to be encouraged from outside. Encourage yourself from inside as David did. Speak the promises of the Lord to yourself. Speak blessings to yourself. Go back to the notes of your pastor's teachings. Listen to his past preachings. As you do so, you are energizing yourself

3rd thing : ENERGIZE YOURSELF BY KEEPING YOUR REWARD IN MIND

Galatians 6:9 "And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not."
A WORD FOR YOU : Keep in mind your harvest. There will be a harvest for what you do in the house of the Lord. There will be a harvest for what you do at home. There will be a harvest for waking up every morning to be in the presence of God. There will be a harvest for reading the Bible everyday.

4th thing :  ENERGIZE YOURSELF BY KEEPING THE END IN MIND
Habakkuk 2:3 "For the vision [is] yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry."

A WORD FOR YOU : Sometimes discouragement comes when what we expect from God is slow in coming. You expect the salvation of your family but there's no result until now. God says to you today: IT WILL CERTAINLY COME. IT WILL NOT BE KEPT BACK.

⏩ COVENANT OF INFALLIBLE PROOFS ⏪ DAY 26 "EXPECTATION"

INTRODUCTION

Jesus made sure that before he goes to the Father that he should live behind him an expectant church, an expectant people. In Acts 1:4, the Bible says,
And being assembled together with them, He commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but WAIT FOR THE PROMISE OF THE FATHER, "which," saith He, "ye have heard from Me;
Expectation was one of the major force which caused the early church to be unstoppable, irresistible, overpowering, persevering and persisting.

Expectation is for the soul what pregnancy is for a woman. The same way a woman can not deliver without being expectant, the same way a believer without expectation, no matter how hard he pushes, there’s no delivery and there's nothing he can get from the Lord.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF EXPECTATION?

1st benefit : Expectation is so powerful that it keeps young and is able to stop the ageing process.

A man without expectation is a man without future. A man without expectation has no future.

In the Bible, Caleb is a powerful example of how expectation can keep a man young.

When he was 45 years old, Caleb has received a clear promise from the Lord that he will inherit the territory of Hebron as his personal possession. Fourty years later, when he was 85 years old, he testifies how he was still strong and vigorous to go to battle and fight to possess his possession. We read his declaration in Joshua 14:10-11 saying,
Now then, just as the Lord promised, he has kept me alive for forty-five years since the time he said this to Moses, while Israel moved about in the wilderness. So here I am today, eighty-five years old! I AM STILL AS STRONG today as the day Moses sent me out; I’M JUST AS VIGOROUS to go out to battle now as I was then“.
2nd benefit : Strong expectations always create the atmosphere for miracle to take place.

Jesus could not do much miracle among his own people and in his own village, because the faith of his people was not enough to stir up any form of expectation in them, the result was that they were lukewarm in their attitude towards him.

In contrast, the Centurion by his faith and the expectations it created was able to create the atmosphere that got his servant healed

    (Mathew 8:13)

3rd benefit Expectation dictates how you live.

It dictates what you eat. It dictates where you go. It dictates how you react. An expectant woman never lives anyhow. She never eats anything. She never goes anywhere. She never reacts anyhow. Why? Because she knows that carelessness can kill her pregnancy.

4th benefit : Expectation creates focus and focus unleashes miracle

In Acts 3:5, the Bible says about the paralytic,

"he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something from them."

As he was expectant to receive something, the Lord released his miracle by granting him back his feet.

    PROPHETIC PRAYERS

PRAYER 1 | My God my Father, no matter the fiery furnace of the enemy I believe you are able to deliver and make me stand. You are able to make my family stand. You are able to make my ministry stand, You are able to make my business stand, let it be so in the name of Jesus Christ !

"If it be [so], our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver [us] out of thine hand, O king." (Daniel 3:17)

PRAYER 2 | Father, do something new in my life. Do something new in my couple and family. Do something new in my business. Do something new in my ministry. Do something new in my career. Do something new in my children. Do something new in my country. Do something new in my relationship with you IN JESUS PRECIOUS NAME !
"Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert." (Isaiah 43:19)
    SO SHALL IT BE.

⏩ COVENANT OF INFALLIBLE PROOFS ⏪ DAY 25 "I'M CARRYING ON A GREAT PROJECT. I CANNOT GO DOWN"

    SCRIPTURE

In Nehemiah 6:3, Nehemiah replies to those who wanted to distract him saying,
"And I sent messengers unto them, saying, I [am] doing a great work, so that I cannot come down: why should the work cease, whilst I leave it, and come down to you?"
This declaration is from a man of God named Nehemiah who was so focused that he did not allow anyone to distract him from his great project. With that clear and unchanging purpose of heart and mind, with that great resolve, the walls of Jerusalem rose until they were rebuilt in an astonishing 52 days as it is written in Nehemiah 6:15,
"So the wall was finished in the twenty and fifth [day] of [the month] Elul, in fifty and two days.."
We cannot and we must not allow ourselves to get distracted from our sacred duty. We cannot and we must not lose focus on the things that matter most.

    FOCUS ENABLES TO FINISH

Which means in other words that focus is a spiritual power that helps to not give up in faith, to not let discouragement take place. Focus is a power which allows nothing to be left unfinished, partial or incomplete.

Throughout Scriptures, God is revealed as THE BEGINNER and ALSO THE FINISHER of things. Whatever he starts he also finishes. Whatever he starts he also brings it unto completion. He never leaves anything unfinished because He is a Focused God.
Philippians 1:6 I’m convinced that GOD, WHO BEGAN this good work in you, will CARRY IT THROUGH TO COMPLETION on the day of Christ Jesus.
Hebrews 12:2 GWV WE MUST FOCUS ON JESUS, the source and goal of our faith. He saw the joy ahead of him, so he endured death on the cross and ignored the disgrace it brought him. Then he received the highest position in heaven, the one next to the throne of God.
FOCUS ENABLES TO CONCENTRATE ON ONE THING

Martha and Mary received both Jesus but one was unfocused while the other was focused.

Martha was so distracted about many things. She was always complaining, unsettled, unhappy and unfulfilled. In another hand, her sister Mary was focused on Jesus and seated at Jesus' feet to hear the Word. Jesus was so displeased that he rebuked Martha for her lack of focus while he praised Mary for her focus saying,
"Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her." (Luke 10:41)

    QUESTIONS TO PONDER

    1) Are you a focused man/woman?

    2) Do you have a project or projects ? If yes, what are they  ?

    3) What is distracting you or what makes  you lose focus  on the pursuit of your God-given steam ?

    4) Are you focused on the things that matter most?

    5) Where do your thoughts go when the pressure of deadlines is gone? Are your thoughts and heart focused on those short-lived fleeting things that matter only in the moment or on things that matter most?

    6) What are the things that distract you from your duties or hinder you from magnifying your calling more diligently?

    PROPHETIC PRAYERS

PRAYER 1 | Father, please, help me to always set my priorityies right in the Name of Jesus Christ !
Proverbs 23:4 Labour not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom.

PRAYER 2 | Father, help me to have a genuine heart in the pursuit of the interests of your Kingdom.
Proverbs 23:7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so [is] he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart [is] not with thee.
PRAYER 3 | Father, deliver me by your grace from the Martha syndrom so that like Mary I will be focused on you and on your Word.

"Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her." (Luke 10:41)

    SO SHALL IT BE.

⏩ COVENANT OF INFALLIBLE PROOFS ⏪ DAY 24 "JESUS CONTINUES TO APPEAR TODAY"

    KEY STATEMENT

THE MAJOR REASON WHY JESUS APPEARED TO HIS DISCIPLES AFTER HIS RESURRECTION WAS NOT ONLY TO SHOW THEM THAT HE WAS ALIVE BUT ALSO TO MAKE THEM WITNESSES OF HIS RESURRECTION.

DO YOU KNOW WHAT? BEFORE THIS MONTH IS OVER, JESUS WILL APPEAR TO YOU TO HEAL YOU. HE WILL APPEAR TO YOU TO BLESS YOU. HE WILL APPEAR TO YOU TO OPEN DOORS FOR YOU. HE WILL APPEAR TO YOU TO SETTLE YOUR MARRIAGE. HE WILL APPEAR TO YOU TO GIVE YOU A JOB. HE WILL APPEAR TO YOU TO PROMOTE YOU. WHY ?

THE REASON IS SIMPLE . . . TO SEND YOU IN THE WORLD TO WITNESS OF HIS GOODNESS IN YOUR LIFE. DO YOU BELIEVE?

THE 12 APPEARANCES OF JESUS CHRIST AFTER HIS RESURRECTION

The Bible records 12 appearances of Jesus Christ after his resurrection.

    1. His first appearance was to Mary Magdalene, on that early Sunday morning.
Mark 16:9 "Now when [Jesus] was risen early the first [day] of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils."

    2. Jesus appeared to the women returning from the tomb. (Matthew 28:9-10).
Matthew 28:9 And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.

    3. Jesus appeared to two disciples on the road to Emmaus. (Read Luke 24:13-32).
Mark 16:12 After that he appeared in another form unto two of them, as they walked, and went into the country.
    4. He appeared to Peter in Jerusalem.

Luke 24:34 Saying, The Lord is risen indeed, and hath appeared to Simon.
1 Corinthians 15:5 And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:
    5. He appeared to his disciples and other followers, and also a second time to the two men from Emmaus, in a locked room in Jerusalem. The apostle Thomas wasn't there at that time. (Read Luke 24:36-43; John 20:19-23).
John 20:19 "Then the same day at evening, being the first [day] of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace [be] unto you."

    6. A week later, Jesus again appeared to his disciples behind locked doors, and this time Thomas was present. (Read John 20:24-29).
John 20:26 "And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: [then] came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace [be] unto you."

    7. Jesus appeared to seven of his disciples on the shore of the Sea of Galilee. (Read John 21:1-24).
John 21:4 "But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus."

WHAT DO THE APPEARANCES OF JESUS CHRIST TEACH US TODAY?

Jesus appeared to his people and is still appearing to many today with the purpose of making them his witnesses.

Before his ascension to heaven, Jesus made clear to his disciples that they were appointed to be witnesses unto Him in the world.

    Who is a witness?

The role of a witness is not limited only to testify that certain things really happened. A witness also proclaims the meaning and significance of those events.

The apostle John gives us a good example of a witness in his epistle.

    - A witness is someone who has heard with his ears, who has seen with his eyes and who has handled with his hands.
    1 John 1:1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;
    - A witness is someone who does not need to explain things. All he just needds is to proclaim and declare what he has seen and what he has heard.
1 John 1:3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship [is] with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.

1 John 1:5 "This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
