DAY 3 FASTING AND PRAYER | KINGDOM BIBLE STUDY | WEDNESDAY 5Th JULY 2023
LESSON | REAL CHANGE IS NOT IMPOSED, ACCIDENTAL NOR A DESTINATION
● It is a concern for a father when the life of child is not changing.
● If you pray and nothing is changing in your life. There are two possibilities.
- Either you are praying the wrong way
- Or you are making the wrong prayer
● It's my prayer as a father that your life will change finally.
● Through prayer Isaac's prayers changed barrenness to fruitfulness.
● You will know your prayer is effective when your life is changing.
● You have to reach a place where you sit down and ask yourself what is wrong with me? Something must change finally in my life.
● You can not encounter God and remain the same.
● Moses encountered God and he changed. He became bold and he faced Pharaoh
● Paul encountered God and be turned from Saul to Paul
THREE KEYS THAT WILL TURN YOUR LIFE AROUND AND CHANGE YOURLIFE FOREVER
● KEY 1 | DESIRE
Statement | Change is not imposed to you from outside. Change is enforced by you from within. You cannot change if you don't desire to.
● Mark 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
● Don't pray until you desire. Desire comes first before prayer.
● John 5:6 When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?
● There are many people who don't pray bu want what they are not praying for.
● Matthew 23:37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!
● Matthew 23:38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.
Question : Do you want? If you want, go for it !
1- God gave Israel the promise land. They had to go for it and fight the giants in it. ( Deuteronomy 2:24 )
2- God had already answered Daniel. But there was resistance in the heavenlies for 21 days. Daniel had to contend to clear the way. ( Daniel 10:10-12 )
3- God had already opened the door for Paul. But there were many adversaries blocking access. Paul had to contend to clear them away. ( 1 Corinthians 16:9/ Revelation 3:8 )
4- Pharez was hindered by the hand of his brother Zarah in the womb who tried to steal (as per to say) his position. After he withdrew his hand, Pharez came out and the midwife wondered, "How did you breakthrough" ( Genesis 38:27-30 )
5- Hannah believed for a very long time that crying would solve her problem. Little did she know that she had to arise and change her story.
6- The harlot who noticed that her living baby was exchanged by her neighbour did not sit down crying. She contended with the power of the light, with the weapon of her voice.
● Desire is an inner drive.
- Jacob said I will not let you go until you bless me.
- The 4 friends of the paralytic overcome the obstacle to meet Jesus.
● There is no way anything can change if you don't have the inner drive, aggressivity or inner anger in you; you will dry and die.
● You are in business? Do it with inner drive.
● You are in ministry? Do it with inner drive.
I declare, from now you will have a high drive in you.
● If you don't have the inner drive, nothing will drive in your life.
● Many believers pray, they don't desire. My friend, you won't see God.
● STOP saying my life is not working, START saying I desire to do something.
● What do you desire?
- Do you desire to change?
- Do you desire to move to the next level?
- Do you desire to succeed in life?
● There is a need for you to desire. Declare like Esther, 'If I perish I perish.'
● Your life must change from now. No one will do it for you. It is you to do something.
● I ask you, yes things are not working. No problem but what are you doing to change things?
● You can do everything but if there is no inner drive, nothing will change.
● Desire is specific, need is vague. When you desire you are specific.
Assignment : WRITE THINGS THAT YOU DESIRE IN THE NEXT 6 MONTHS.
KEY 2 | DISCOMFORT
Statement | Change is not accidental. Change is intentional. You cannot change what you are comfortable with.
● Change is not accidental.
● Judges 3:1 Now these are the nations which the LORD left, to prove Israel by them, even as many of Israel as had not known all the wars of Canaan;
● Judges 3:2 Only that the generations of the children of Israel might know, to teach them war, at the least such as before knew nothing thereof;
● God says there are some enemies. God can at times allow enemies in your life for you to learn through war
1- Myles Munroe | Comfort creates stagnation. Discomfort creates transformation.
2- Quote of the week | Tough times create strong men. Strong men create easy times. Easy times create weak men. Weak men creates tough times.
Explanation using my testimony
3- My testimony/My history
- I was trecking to go to Church.
- I spent night at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport because I could not afford to pay a taxi.
- I got stuck at KAG/EAST because I could not afford to pay my stay.
- Resigned from my paid job in DRC for a full time ministry in a foreign land.
- Today, my children go to a 15 minutes walking distance school by taxi and come back home by School Bus.
- Today, I pay taxi to people from wherever to wherever.
- Today, I work with people paid monthly by the Organization.
● You cannot change your life if you remain comfortable.
● When children have easy time they will be weak in future.
● Where you are is temporal. Your life will change in Jesus Name.
● Don't despise people. They can be where they are but they will not be where they are tomorrow.
I declare, you will never suffer financial embarrassment again.
4- People choose to be comfortable :
- They make less effort and look for easy way
- They want to conform to the multitude
- They fear of the unknown/fear to go against the norm/to take risk/fear to lose
● There are people who are comfortable with mediocrity.
● Excellence is Expensive. Mediocrity is Costly. Between what is expensive and what is costly, the choice is yours.
● There are things you will never see in your life unless you get out of your comfort zone.
● 2 Kings 6:1 And the sons of the prophets said unto Elisha, Behold now, the place where we dwell with thee is too strait for us.
e.g. 2- Comfortable With borrowing vs lending |
● Deuteronomy 28:12 The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow.
5- Lesson from eagles
- An eagle who remains in the nest will never fly.
- The mother eagle removes straws to force the baby to get out of the comfort zone and learn to fly.
6- Lesson from butterfly
- A caterpillar will remain caterpillar if it fails the break the cocoon by itself. If it does, then it becomes the butterfly.
● As long as you don't step out of your comfort zone, you will never grow.
GET OUT OF YOUR COMFORTABLE AND DO SOMETHING. START DOING SOMETHING AND THINGS WILL CHANGE
KEY 3 | DISSATISFACTION
Statement | Change is a journey, not a destination. Nothing will change until you get dissatisfied. Satisfaction is the enemy of Progression.
1- Dissatisfaction versus discontentment
● When you are discontented, you are not grateful, you murmur, you grumble, you complain.
● When you are dissatisfied, you are grateful for what you have, for what you do but you refuse to settle there/you aim to the next level.
2- Terah and his family left Ur to go to Canaan. They reached Haran, settled there and Terah died there.
● Genesis 11:31 And Terah took Abram his son, and Lot the son of Haran his son's son, and Sarai his daughter in law, his son Abram's wife; and they went forth with them from Ur of the Chaldees, to go into the land of Canaan; and they came unto Haran, and dwelt there.
● Genesis 11:32 And the days of Terah were two hundred and five years: and Terah died in Haran.
● May you never settle for less
3- The will of God
- Brighter and brighter. (Proverbs 4:18)
- From glory to glory. (2 Corinthians 3:18)
- From strength to strength. (Psalm 84:7)
- From increase to increase (Psalm 115:14)
4- The rich man was satisfied with his achievement. God calls him a fool. (Luke 12:20.) God calls another one wretched, miserable, poor, blind and naked. (Rev 3:17)
5- Thirst is power.
● John 7:37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.

CONCLUSION | HOW TO ENFORCE CHANGE?
● 2 Kings 7:3 And there were four leprous men at the entering in of the gate: and they said one to another, Why sit we here until we die?
● 2 Kings 7:4 If we say, We will enter into the city, then the famine is in the city, and we shall die there: and if we sit still here, we die also. Now therefore come, and let us fall unto the host of the Syrians: if they save us alive, we shall live; and if they kill us, we shall but die.
1- You have three options in life
a.) Stagnation | Remain where you are and die there
b.) Setback | Returning where you come from and die there
c.) Soaring | Risk by faith to go where God wants you to go/be and live
2- One question : For you to experience change you mUst ask yourself the 'Why' question.
- Are you stagnating while you can soar?
ASSIGNMENT
5 things you need to work on to transform your life
1- Settings : How you live depends on how you believe.
● Check your thought pattern.
● Change the way you believe to change the way you live.
● If your life is not changing it's because there is something wrong with your settings.
● Change the way you see yourself and the way you see yourself will change.
2- Strategies : How you do what you do matters more than what you do.
● The fool expects getting different results doing the same thing. Whether you change what you do or you change what you do.
● Come to a place where you are asking yourself, 'What can I do to make things better?'
3- Skills : Knowledge comes with learning.
● Skill comes with applying/practicing knowledge. Knowledge is informational. Skill is experimental.
● You cannot go to the next level unless you move your skill to the next level.
● Receive the grace to move to the next level.
● I am asking you a question : What are doing with your skills? With your gift? Don't sit on your skills.
4- Seed : You will not harvest until you invest. You will not withdraw until you deposit. There is no product without the process. There is no crown without the cross.
5- Solution : Money is the reward for solving problems. Find the right problem worth solving. Find the right way to solve it.
PRAYER GUIDELINES
- What are the skills that you have?
- What are your desires?
- What are your habits?
- What are things that must change?
- What do you want to start to change things.
Go before the Lord and pray for your life to enforce change.
● Refuse stagnation. Refuse comfort. Refuse to remain at the same spot. Something must change.
● Something must change in my life. Pray to enforce change in your life. Something must change..
● You can continue to stagnate, to struggle, to work for others. Something must change.
● Pray for your skills. Pray God to use your skills and capacity.
● Pray for your mindset and stop looking down on yourself. Your settings must change.
● Grow your skills and stop murmuring and complaining. Your life must change.

This week ,
● You are changing your level.
● God can do for you what has taken years for you to do
● Something unusual will happen in your life.
● People will call y0u for your gift. The skill you have will make you meet great men in the land.
● From now on your life will change. Your will go out of your comfort zone. To do new things.
●The blessing of the Lord will be your portion in Jesus name
● Your struggles are over. The doors are open. Receive the grace to be aggressive.
● None of your children will be chased from school. Your house will not be closed again
● No more joblessness in this Church again.
● Your gift will be your lift. No more Setback in your life.
● If your parents or spouse cursed you, I revoke the curse in your life, I declare you are blessed.
● Anyone who owes you money, will release your money this week.
God will confirm these blessings in your life.
