DAY 5 OF FASTING AND PRAYER | KINGDOM BIBLE STUDY | THINK OUT OF THE BOX |  FRIDAY 7TH JULY 2023

PROVIDE THE PLACE, GOD WILL PROVIDE THE TENT

INTRODUCTION

Isaiah 54:2 KJV Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes;

Isaiah 54:3 KJV For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.

• What is that place? That place is your mind.

• God will not enlarge the place for you. 

• You provide the place, God will provide the tent. You provide a small place, God will provide a small tent. You provide nothing, there will be no tent for you.

Zechariah 2:4-5 KJV And said unto him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein: [5] For I, saith the Lord, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.

• How do I know the size of my mind 

CHAPTER 1 |  WHAT DO YOU SEE?

Jeremiah 1:11-12 KJV Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree. [12] Then said the Lord unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.

• According to the above text, God asked Jeremiah what he was seeing. Verse 11

Question: If God asks you today, "what do you see?" What will you say?

Case 1 | Isaac and Rebecca

Gen 24:63-64, Isaac saw camels not Rebecca but Rebecca saw Isaac. 

• Because they didn't see the same thing, they lived disorganized life.

• Camels are known to carry loads and endure harsh conditions like surviving in a desert.

• When you enter into a marriage where both of you did not see the same thing, you will not live the same thing. 

Question | What do you see?

Case 2 | Esau and Jacob

Esau failed to see the first born birthright. He lost it. Jacob saw it and got it.

Question | What do you see?

Case 3 | The 12 spies

Numbers 13:32-33 KJV And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature. 

[33] And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.

10 people saw giants, two people saw the land.

The 10 never entered while the 2 entered.

Question | What do you see?

Case 4 | The blind man healed in 2 stages

In Mark 8:23-25 Jesus asks the blind man what he sees and he responds that he sees men like trees walking.

Case 5 | God told Abraham in 

Genesis 13:15 KJV For ALL THE LAND which thou seest, TO THEE WILL I GIVE IT, and to thy seed for ever.

Question | What do you see?

Lesson | From the texts above, we get the following lessons

1• When you see life others see death

2• When you see favor others see rejection

3• When you see good healthy others see sickness

4• God will not see on your behalf, you are the one to see. 

5• Don't assume, we don't see things the same way yet we live on the same earth.

6• What you see matters to God. But how you see it matters the most to God

• That's why he asked Jeremiah what he was seeing. That's why he asked the blind if he was seeing something.

• For that reason, Jesus had to touch his eyes again that he may see properly. (Only place in Bible where Jesus performs His miracles in two stages)

CHAPTER 2 | DO YOU SEE WELL?

• When Jeremiah answered by saying what he saw, God congratulated him saying, "you have seen well."

Jer 1:12, Then the LORD said to me, “You have seen well, for I am watching over my word to perform it.”

Question: If you tell God what you see, can He say to you that you have seen well?

Lessons |

• If you see well you will see God confirming and performing His word in your life. What you see is what God will confirm in your life. 

•If you see well, God will settle and bless you.  You will live well.

• When you see well, then, God will fulfill what he promised to you.

• Until you see well, the prophetic word can never be fulfilled in your life. 

CHAPTER 3 | HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT YOU SEE WELL?

Factors that reveal you are seeing well:

Factor 1 | Your behavior  

When you see well, you will behave in the right way. If you see problems, you will behave like the problems. Make a choice in your life not to see the problems, but instead see the promise.

How you see yourself determines how you behave.

• The blind man saw trees. Trees are things that can easily be destroyed, cut into pieces. 

• When you see people as trees, it means you can easily destroy them, you can easily cut them down into pieces without caring. 

Declaration: May you receive the grace to see well. May you receive the grace to see yourself as a King/Queen.

Factor 2 | Your belief 

How you see affects what you believe. If you see right, you will believe right. If you believe right  you will attract good things. On the other hand if you believe the wrong way, you will attract the bad things.

“The mind of a person is like a magnet. It attracts what it is similar to the thoughts in it.”  ... You attract what is inside of you. If what is within you is poverty, failure, defeat, sickness, death, you attract it to you. If what is within you is success, greatness, happiness, good health, you attract it to you.

You attract what you believe. You cannot attract what you attack. If you always attack finances, they will run away from you. If you attack marriages, you will not have one. You attract what you appreciate. 

Factor 3 | Your destiny/ your future/ your breakthrough / your miracle

• If you see well, you will see your destiny and your future well.

Matthew 8:25 KJV And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish.

• When the Shunamite perceived Elisha as a holy man of God, God made room for her miracle baby

2 Kings 4:9 KJV And she said unto her husband, Behold now, I perceive that this is an holy man of God, which passeth by us continually.

• The people from Jesus town saw him as a carpenter. As a matter of fact, there was no miracle from the Lord for them.

• What you see affects what you become.  You become what you behold. 

• When you see negativity, you will always be negative to everything. 

• When you see nothing, you become nothing.

• Your hand can hold only what your eyes can behold

• What your eyes cannot behold, your hands cannot hold

CHAPTER 4 | SAY IT TO SEE IT

• God asked Jeremiah what he was seeing because he was expecting him to say it so that he can confirm it.

• If you don't say it, you will not see it.

• If you don't say it you will not see it physically

• What you see, write it down. Convert it into pictures  (Vision board). And make them your prayers.

WHAT DO I SEE?

• I see myself walking in the covenant with God

• I see myself a victor not a victim

• I see myself dealing with the heads of states

• I see myself ruling multibillion dollars organization

• I see myself in Rama Land, the headquater of the Word Of Life

Declaration: Lord touch my eyes so that I can see well. 

Challenge: What do you see about your future from Scriptures?

Case of Ruth and Orpah

Ruth did not see how old Naomi was.  She did not see how unable she was to provide a husband for her.

Ruth saw her God.

The difference between the rich and the poor is in their eyes. The rich can see opportunities and take advantage of them while the poor overlook opportunities and complain.
