UNTIMELY DEATH IS NOT MY PORTION | WEDNESDAY 26-04-2023
● Revelation 1:18 KJV I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
● Hebrews 2:14-15 KJV Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; [15] And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
● 1 Corinthians 15:26 KJV The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
● As per our covenant in Abraham and per our redemption in Christ, longevity is our birthright and premature death is not our portion.
Let me give you a quick Biblical perspective of premature death
● From Scriptures, premature death = is death before 70 or 80 years or 100 years
● In Psalms 90:10 / Isaiah 65:20 There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days; for the child shall die a hundred years old; but the sinner being a hundred years old shall be accursed.
● Premature death is also = death before the complete fulfillment of God's assignment or before the fulfillment of God's promise
● In John 19:28-30, the Bible says, "...Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished... said ... It is finished". Jesus did not die because he was sick. Jesus did not die because of any accident. Jesus died because he finished whatever he was called to accomplish on the earth.
● In Luke 2:29, Simeon prayed and asked God for his death after he saw the fulfilment of God's promise over his life. We read, "Lord, now let you your servant depart in peace, according to your word: Luke 2:30 For my eyes have seen your salvation"
● From Scriptures, Premature death is death at a young age decreed from and by the kingdom of darkness
● In Daniel 2:12-24 … Daniel prayed to cancel a decree of premature death against him. In Daniel 3, his friends escaped the premature death from the furnace of the king
● Jesus and Moses escaped by divine revelation to premature death decreed by Herod and Pharaoh when they were babies ( Exodus 2 / Luke 2:25-31 )
● In Psalm 102:24 ... A psalmist prayed the Lord to not take him away from the earth at his young age
● David escaped many times to premature death from the hands of Saul
● From Scriptures, Premature death = death when you're not ready
● In Isaiah 38:1-5 … Hezekiah refused death and prayed to cancel a decree of premature death
What does the Bible witness?
● At Abraham's death
Genesis 25:8 Then Abraham gave up the ghost, and died in a good old age, an old man, and full of years; and was gathered to his people.
● At Isaac's death
Genesis 35:29 And Isaac gave up the ghost, and died, and was gathered to his people, being old and full of days: and his sons Esau and Jacob buried him.
● At David's death
1 Chronicles 29:28 And he died in a good old age, full of days, riches, and honor: and Solomon his son reigned in his stead.
● At Job's death
Job 42:16 After this lived Job an hundred and forty years, and saw his sons, and his sons’ sons, even four generations. Job 42:17 So Job died, being old and full of days.
LET ME GIVE YOU SOME COVENANT KEYS FOR GOOD HEALTH AND LONGEVITY
● KEY 1. Make your service to God and to the interests of his Kingdom your purpose of life
Exodus 23:26 says, you shall serve the Lord your God and the number of your days, God shall fulfil !
● KEY 2. Believe that long life is your heritage in Christ. Choose to live. Refuse to die prematurely. Confess life daily. Cancel by faith the evil plan of the enemy against you and your loved ones.
In Psalms 91:16, we read, With long life will I satisfy him, and show him my salvation."
In Psalm 118:17. we read, I shall not die but live
In Deuteronomy 30:19 Therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live,
● KEY 3. Honor your parents both biological and spiritual
Exodus 20:12 "Honor thy father and thy mother, that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
● KEY 4. Choose to be hopeful, positive, happy and joyful with hopeful, positive and happy and joyful people. Laugh and smile as often as you can. Hopeless, negative, bitter, unhappy and joyless people will cut short your life. Disconnect and unplug yourself before they unplug you from the earth.
● New research suggests constant bitterness can make a person ill. ... “Persistent bitterness may result in global feelings of anger and hostility that, when strong enough, could affect a person's physical health,” said psychologist Dr. Carsten Wrosch.
● In the Bible 7 people committed suicide due to hopelessness, guilt, bitterness and resentment.
● Matthew 6:27 "Can any of you add a single hour to your life by worrying?
● Proverbs 17:22 A merry heart doeth good like a medicine, but a broken spirit drieth the bones.
CALL TO ACTION
● It is your covenant responsibility to make it your declaration of faith to confess based on the Word Of God that it should never happen to you to bury your children.
● Make it your daily declaration that your children will live longer than yourself IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!
● Make it your confession that none of your children should be taken away in the midst of their years. Always revoke and cancel any premature death. Always revoke and cancel any burial plan conceived against you, your family members, your loved ones IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!
● By reason of your covenant of longevity, Trust God to die like Abraham in a good old age, an old man, and full of years. Or like Isaac, old and full of days. Or like David, in a good old age, full of days, riches, and honor. Or like Job, old and full of days, after you have seen your sons, and your sons’ sons, even four generations.
● According to your faith, let it be done to you !
PRAYERS
● *"I WILL NOT DIE IN THE MIDDLE OF MY DAYS *
Psalms 102:24, "O my God, take me not away in the middle of my days: your years are throughout all generations."
● Today, God is telling someone that you will not die prematurely before you have fulfilled completely your divine calling and mandate on the earth.
● PRAY to cancel any evil plan of premature death against you, your loved ones in the name of Jesus!
Father in the name of Jesus, I confess
🙏 1.| Psalm 118:17 : I shall live to declare the works of the Lord . Any untimely death is cancelled!
🙏 2. | John 19:28-30 : Jesus never died by accident but after fulfilling his mandate on the earth. So shall it be for me!
🙏 3.| Daniel 2:12-24 : Any death decreed by the power of darkness against me is cancelled!
🙏 4.| Psalm 102:24 : I will bury none of my children. None of them will depart in the middle of his days.
🙏 5.| Exodus 23:25-26 : I will serve God all my life. And the number of my days will be fulfilled.
