*DAY 38/40 UNCOMMON WOMEN’S DAY | WED 8TH MARCH 2023 | MORNING SESSION*

 *DAY 38/40 UNCOMMON WOMEN’S DAY | WED 8TH MARCH 2023 | MORNING SESSION*

● *Judges 1:12*   And Caleb said, He that smiteth Kirjathsepher, and taketh it, to him will I give Achsah my daughter to wife.

● *(BBE)*  And Caleb said, I will give Achsah, my daughter, as wife to the man who overcomes Kiriath-sepher and takes it.

● *(ERV)*  Before they started to fight, Caleb made a promise to the men. He said, "I will give my daughter Acsah in marriage to whoever attacks and conquers Kiriath Sepher."

*Who is a real man/husband?*

● Caleb is giving us the profile of a real man/husband who according to him was worthy to marry his daughter and of course become his son-in-law.

●  *A real man/husband is*  a man of faith, a fighter, a winner, an overcomer, a risk-taker, the one ready to fight and win for his wife.

●  *A real man/husband is*  a man who smites the enemy for his wife, not the one who smites his wife or hurts her.

● A real man/husband is not a vain talker or a noise-maker. No. A real man/husband is an action taker. A land conqueror.

*Check well.*

● When you read this text, there is no word from Othniel at a;; *Read  verse 13.*

●*Judges 1:138* And Othniel the son of Kenaz, Caleb's younger brother, took it: and he gave him Achsah his daughter to wife.

● *You see?* Othniel did not utter any single word. There were many men who heard, but Othniel is the only one who stood out.

● We have men out there in town who talk too much and do nothing.

*The Bible says, Othniel took.*

● *Meaning,* Othniel fought and won. Othniel attacked and conquered.

● Actions speak louder than words.

● Someone said, "A man of many words is a man of few thoughts. A man of many thoughts is a man of meaningful actions"

● The Bible says in  *1 John 3:18 (KJV),*  "My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth."

*Hear me and hear me well …*

● *A real man/husband* is not the man who works hard to attack, conquer or have dominion over his wife. No.

● *A real man/husband* conquers the enemy.

● *A real man/husband* conquers the devil.

● *A real man/husband* conquers the forces of darkness to secure his wife and his family.

● *A real man/husband* is a warrior not a terrorist of his family.

● I pray that God will make a man in Kenya an Othniel for his family. I pray that God will rise such men in the Word Of Life. I pray even for myself to be that Othniel for my family in the Name Of Jesus Christ !!!

● When I was meditating over this text, I have come to realize that Othniel is exactly the image of Christ.

● *Othniel paid the brideprice to demonstrate his love for Achsah and make her his wife, Christ shed his blood and died for us not only to save us, but also to make us his bride ... Hallelujah ! Isn't it amazing?*

*Ephesians 5:25 (TPT)*   And to the husbands, you are to demonstrate love for your wives with the same tender devotion that Christ demonstrated to us, his bride. For he died for us, sacrificing himself.

● *That's the real man*. *Christ is the real man.*

● *A real man* who demonstrates love by dying for us, by sacrificing himself (no one pushed him to do so).

● There are men out there in town who do nothing themselves. They do when they are pushed by their mothers/fathers/friends/siblings.

No.

● That is not a real man.

● Himself ... refers to responsibility.

*Men, take your responsibility.*

● *A real man / husband takes responsibility and does not run away from it*.

● In  *Mark 10:45,*  Jesus says, "The Son of Man came, not to be served, but to serve and give his life as the ransom of many."

● *A real man* is a servant. A loving servant. A caring servant. Not the one who cannot even lift his own glass. A servant. A servant refers to meeting the need of others. A servant refers to humility.

● *A real man* is not afraid to serve. A real man is happy to serve. Happy to care. Happy to give. Happy to share.

● We have men out there in town who are stingy. Selfish. Self centered.

● That is not the image of Christ.

Now, Jesus did not only come to serve. He also came to give his life as a ransom of many.

*Watch this  ... Life in this text refers to the blood.*

● When Jesus says … Giving his life as the ransom, please understand that Jesus is talking about giving his blood

*Leviticus 17:11* For the life of the flesh is in the blood ...

Wow. Wow. Wow.

You see?

● Jesus did for you to be his ACHSAH

● That's why today, being the day of celebration of women. I want to remind you the Church that you are ACHSAH.

Hallelujah !!! Hallelujah !!!

● Ransom refers to the money paid, for the release of someone being held.

● The blood of Jesus is the blood of ransom …

The blood of Jesus is the blood of release …

The blood of Jesus is the blood of freedom

Hallelujah !

*Can someone shout : I AM ACHSAH

*1 Corinthians 6:20*  … For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

*1 Corinthians 6:20 … (ERV)*  God paid a very high price TO MAKE YOU HIS. So honor God with your body.

*What does it mean?*

*1st MEANING | TO BE ACHSAH means : YOU BELONG TO CHRIST*

● I am his ... He is mine ... My life is his ... His life is mine ... No devil can claim anything in my life.

*Matthew 12:44 KJV*  Then he saith, I will return into MY HOUSE from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.

● This house is not yours.  The devil is the illegal occupant.

● IT IS ILLEGAL... IT IS NOT PERMITTED TO THE DEVIL TO RETURN IN MY HOUSE, IN MY LIFE, IN MY MINISTRY, ...

● Shut the door to the devil by the blood.

*1 Corinthians 7:23 (ERV)* God paid a high price for you, so don't be slaves to anyone else.

● Tonight, by the blood of the Lamb Of God, is the night of your release.

● Tonight, by the blood of the Lamb O God, anything held captive in the dungeon of hell is declared released.

*2nd MEANING | TO BE ACHSAH means : I WILL NOT CARRY IN ME WHAT JESUS CARRIED FOR ME ON THE CROSS.*

Hallelujah !!! Hallelujah !!!

● *RANSOM MEANS EXCHANGE* … Jesus taking what was meant for you and giving to you what you don’t deserve

*Isa 43:3*   For I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.

● Jesus took your sickness so that you won't carry it again. Jesus took your sickness so that you will carry perfect health.  *(Luke 8:17)*

● Jesus took your curses so that you won't carry them again  *(Galatians 3:13).*  In Christ, you are no more cursed. Jesus took it. In Christ,  you are Achsha, meaning you are blessed.

● Jesus took your poverty so that you won't carry it again.  *(2 Corinthians 8:9).*  In Christ, poverty is no more your portion. In Christ, his riches are available for you.

*Luk 15:31*   And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine.

●  *Look at Achsah.*  She knew she was Achsah. She knew the brideprice was paid for her. See her confidence. She went to her father. She asked for springs of water for her land. And the father gave her.

*Jdg 1:15*  And she said unto him, Give me a blessing: for thou hast given me a south land; give me also springs of water. And Caleb gave her the upper springs and the nether springs.

*3rd MEANING | TO BE ACHSAH MEANS ... MY DEBT IS PAID. MY DEBT IS CANCELLED.*

● *RANSOM MEANS DEBT IS PAID/DEBT OS CANCELLED …*

*2 Kings 4:7*  She came and told the man of God. And he said, Go, sell the oil and PAY YOUR DEBT, and you and your sons shall live from the rest.

● From the text above, the children were to be made captives because of the debt. Once paid, they were free to live free.

●  *TO BE ACHSAH MEANS NO MORE PURSUIT*  by evil spirits. No more condemnation. No more guilt. No more curse. Why? Because the ransom has been paid.

*Romans 8:1** There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

● After the blood was applied on the doorpost, Israel was free to go.

Look at what it means to be ACHSAH from this text …*

1-  *Exodus 14:24*  And IN THE MORNING WATCH it happened that Jehovah looked to the army of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the army of the Egyptians.

●  *TO BE ACHSAH means* no matter how long the night takes, there will be the morning watch for you. No matter how many pursue you Achsah, there will be the morning watch. In the morning watch, the Lord will trouble your troublers in the Name Of Jesus Christ!!!

2-  *Exodus 14:25* And He took off their chariot wheels, and made them go heavily, so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel, for Jehovah fights for them against the Egyptians.

●  *TO BE ACHSAH means* the Lord will fight for you. The Lord will take off the wheels of the chariots of your pursuers. Your will hardly move. They will shout, "Let's get out of here! The LORD is fighting for you! He's against us!"  HALLELUJAH !!!

3-  *Exodus 15:10*  You blew with Your wind; the sea covered them. They sank like lead in the mighty waters.

●  *TO BE ACHSAH means*  the Lord will blow with his wind and cause your pursuers to drown. HALLELUJAH !!!

*PRAYER POINTS*
