THE CHURCH OF THE OLD PROPHET 1 Kings 13:1-11
- The Man of God was led by God to go speak to the altar in Bethel with an instruction to not eat anything.
- Without the voice of God, with an instruction to deal with altars, do not interfere with altars.
- In 1 Kings 13:11 the sons of the old prophet went and reported to their father what the man of God had done. And in Verse 14, the old prophet pursued the man of God.
- Note that every land has it's principalities. And for this reason, one must abide by their covenant with God.
Doing things without instruction will be your destruction. Instructions are for your protection.
Characteristics of the old prophet Church.
1. It is a witchcraft church.
2. It is a church where people monitor each other.
3. It is a gossiping church.
4. It is a church of accusations.
5. It is a church where people plot for the downfall of others.
6. It is a church with jealous people.
7. It is a church devoid of genuiness. 2 Cor 11:14

How to deal with the Old Prophet.
1. Stick to your assignment.
2. Stick to your destiny
3. Stick to your calling
4. Stick to what the Lord told you.
5. Be careful who you follow.
6. Be careful with the voice you hear.
7. Be careful of destiny diverters.
8. Be careful of false prophets.
