SHOW ME YOUR GLORY. EX 33:18
I. INTRODUCTION
● This was the prayer of Moses.
● He had seen God's glory, but he thirsted for more.
II. WHAT IS GLORY?
1. It is the opposite of shame. Prov 3:35
• It is the opposite of reproach;
● There are 3 areas of reproach, that we are asking for intervention from the father;
a. Barrenness.
b. Poverty.
c. Sin. Prov 13:34
● When one is under reproach, they become the laughing stock.
2. Glory comes with greatness. Deut 5:24
• Greatness comes with wealth. Gen 24:35
• Greatness comes with fame : God promises Abraham to make his name great.
● Each time one makes God's name great, fame follows.
• Greatness comes with stature : Abraham was great and considered as a mighty prince among the Philistines.
3. Glory is the nature, essence and the presence of God.
• It is what he can't share with anyone, what makes Him incomparable and what makes people worship Him.
• Glory is the core attribute of God.
• The most personal part of divinity.
• The glory of God is seen where signs and wonders are manifest.
III. WHAT DOES IT TAKE?
1• To see God's glory, you need Faith.
● John 11:40 "If you believe, you will see the glory of God".
Why Ichabod? (The departure of God's glory.)
2. Depart from sin.
Sin will cause the glory of God to depart (I-Kabod)*, but the Glory can be restored.
IV. THE MANIFESTED GLORY
● Is 60:2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
3 And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.
• This verse tells us that the Glory of God can be visible.
• And as a result, the non believers shall come to witness it.
• In the days of darkness, God's glory will exempt you from darkness.
Blessing: May the glory of God be seen over your life, may poverty and barreness be removed from your life in Jesus name. May the strange acts of God be visible in your life. In Jesus name.
Joel 2:25 There will be no more shame in your life in Jesus name.
When the Lord shows you his glory, He will make you a show in this world.
PRAYERS
1. Let there be no shame over my life.
2. I revoke barreness, poverty and sin in my life.
3. I pray for victory over sin in my life In Jesus name.
4. I pray for your greatness to be seen in me. I pray that you shall usher me onto the tables of the great in Jesus Name.
5. I pray that Lord you will release wealth onto me in Jesus name.
6. I pray that my ideas will be converted into wealth. They will provide connections and wealth.
7. I am being commended to to people in Jesus name.
8. My talent shall not die.
9. Thank you Lord for releasing the grace of Fame over my life. Let your name be known through me.
10. You are a sign of advancement, of provision of God's Glory.
