Chapter 1 | Introduction
● Proverbs 4:18... The perfect will of God for us is to change level permanently and continuously.
Truths to note:
- God never lies.
- God is not a Son Of Man that he should lie
- God is the Covenant keeping God.
• All his provision always comes together with conditions. They come with terms.
• Until you meet the condition, you will never access the provision.
● The Word Of God always works. If it doesn't work in your life, nothing is wrong with God. Something is wrong with you.
Chapter 2 | Mind your path
● In Prov 4:18, The Bible says ... "The path". There's a path leading to next level.
● Next level is a continuous process. An unending journey. It is not a destination. Every new level is a stepping stone to the next level.
● You cannot use a wrong path to reach a right destination. That's why the bible says, "the path". MIND YOUR PATH.
What does "Mind your path" mean?
1- Mind your attitude
2- Mind your belief
3- Mind your choices
4- Mind your discernement
● If you are not changing level, it means that you are taking the wrong path.
What does it mean?
- Something is wrong with my attitude.
- Something is wrong with my belief.
- Something is wrong with your choices.
- Something is wrong with your discerning.
Chapter 3 | Mind your heart
● In Prov 4:18, the bible talks about "The path of the righteous".
● Nothing is right when the heart is wrong ( Acts 8:21)
● The change of level is the heart matter. The change of level is the matter of the heart.
Prayer: Lord, let my heart be right in the name of Jesus Christ.
● You can cheat on anybody, but you cannot cheat on your heart and on God. He knows your heart ( Acts 1:24)
Chapter 4 | Jealousy, the roadblock to next level
Biblical case: The prodigal son and his older brother ( Luke 15:25-28)
● The jealous brother was in front of an open door, but he could not enter and change level. Why? Because of JEALOUSY IN HIS HEART.
● Many people are like this prodigal brother in front of open doors but not able to enter because of their heart.
● Revelation 3:8... Jesus is telling you that He has set before you an open door.
● The problem is your heart. Doors are opened but your heart is closed.
● Jesus is adding that no one can shut the open door, but the truth is that you are the one shutting the open door.
Why doors look closed in your life?
● Is it because God is not able or is it because something is wrong somewhere?
● If something is wrong with you, it is your heart.
Chapter 5 | Will you pass the test?
Biblical case: The paralytic man ( Acts 3:2)
● He was at the gate to the next level and was watching others entering but he could not enter .
● God is not respecter of persons. If others are entering, you will also enter.
● One of the way God tests our heart is by opening doors to others while ours is closed.
Question: Will you pass the test? The answer depends on your heart.
Two tips to pass the test:
TIP 1 | Your next level is hidden behind the door God has opened to your brother and sister.
• If you fail to celebrate that open door, you will never enter your own. Make up your mind!
TIP 2 | The testimony of others is an open door leading to your own next level testimony.
• God is not respecter of persons ( Acts 10:34/ John 14:12). What does it mean?
- Jesus walked on water. Peter walked also the same.
- Moses parted the Red Sea. Joshua parted the river Jordan.
- Elijah parted the River Jordan. Elish did the same.
Chapter 6 | Keys to break free from the prison of jealousy
Key 1 | Be spiritual
● Jealous people are carnal. They are not spiritual. Jealousy in fact is part of the works of the flesh ( 1 Corinthians 3:1-3)
Biblical example: Gehazi
• He never replicated Elisha's anointing. Why? Because he was carnal.
Key 2 | Learn to celebrate others success and achievement from your heart.
● Many people don't experience Next level in their lives because they have not learnt to celebrate the doors God opens to others.
Lessons to note:
Lesson 1- When you celebrate others success, you are multiplying yours (Job 42:10)
• Anything we do to others comes back to us.
Lesson 2 - When you celebrate others success, it motivates them and it challenges you to learn and improve your own.
Lesson 3 - When you celebrate others success, it cleanses your heart from negative feelings, negative thoughts and negative emotions.
APPLICATION
● Others success should not be a threat to yours.
● How well someone performs. How better than you they perform does not take away your peace.
● You will go to the next level as you mind your path.
● God will not change your level in the path of others. He will change your level as you follow your path.
Prayer points:
● Pray and ask God for the grace to celebrate other people's success the name of Jesus Christ.
● Pray and ask God for the grace to motivate other not to discourage them the name of Jesus Christ.
● Pray for humility to learn from others success the name of Jesus Christ.
● Pray the Holy Spirit to destroy jealousy from your heart in the name of Jesus Christ.
MAP DAY 3 | WEDNESDAY 06.04.2022: NEXT LEVEL| WHY DID RACHEL FAIL THE TEST?
Chapter 1 | Introduction
● Yesterday we talked about jealousy as the roadblock to the NEXT LEVEL.
● We saw how jealousy hindered the brother of the prodigal son not to go to the next level.
● Today let's look at Rachel and Leah as a practical illustration and application of yesterday's lesson.
Chapter 2 | Rachel failed the test
● Before you go to the next level, you must go through a test.
● Leah was fruitful and had children. But Rachel did not have children.
● How you respond to the blessing of the person next to you, will determine if you will go to the next level.
● Rachel was not able to go to the NEXT LEVEL of FRUITFULNESS because she failed the test
Biblical case: How did Rachel failed the test ( Genesis 30:1-2)
● In Prov 4:18, the Bible says...The path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.
Fact 1 | She failed to mind her path and her heart
● She saw she could not ... She envied her sister ... She forced Jacob to give her what only God can.
● There are things that only God can give to you. You cannot change level if your eyes are still on men ( 2 Cor 3:18)
Fact 2 | She failed to tap into her sister's NEXT LEVEL
● She envied her sister... She put pressure on Jacob... She became jealous, envious, bitter.
● As long as the blessing of someone else is making you miserable, you will never get your own.
Fact 3 | She failed in her attitude, belief, choice and discernment
● If I'm not changing level, it means something is not right with your attitude, your beliefs, your choices, your discernment.
- Her attitude was wrong... She envied her sister.
- Her belief was wrong... She went to Jacob forcing him to give her children. It was not Jacob who give children, but God.
- Her choices were wrong... She chose to be bitter, angry instead of praying.
- Her discernement was poor... She was so desperate to have children that she ended up losing her mind, and confused.
Chapter 3 | Glow before you grow. Shine before you change level
● How do you know that you are on the right path to your NEXT LEVEL?
● How can you be sure that your NEXT LEVEL is guaranteed?
● From Prov 4:18... It is when you shine. In other words, when you Glow.
What is NEXT LEVEL?
1- Next level means growth
• You go to the NEXT LEVEL when you grow. When you don't grow, you cannot go to your NEXT LEVEL.
• Remember... The PATH of the JUST or the righteous SHINES brighter and brighter.
• Brighter and brighter is an indication of growth, increase.
Biblical case: Hannah
● Hannah wanted to change level. She wanted to GROW, but as long as she was sorrowful, she couldn't. God did not answer her ( 1 Sam 1:15)
● Before you Grow, you must Glow.
● One day, Hannah made room for joy in her life, meaning when she decided to Glow, God visited her and she could GROW ( 1 Sam 1:18-20)
● God does not visit the sorrowful. Why?
1. There's no sorrow in the blessing (Prov 10:22)
2. You are called to be envied not to envy (Gen 26:14)
3. You cannot glow if you are heartbroken. You cannot glow when you are unhappy.
Chapter 4 | Rachel failed again
● Rachel failed the test of the path. She got out of her path to her sister's path.
● She failed the test of the righteous. Her heart was not right to the point that she couldn't tap into her sister's testimony.
●Again, she also failed the test of shining. Or glowing.
Facts concerning Rachel:
Fact 1 | Rachel was granted by God the grace to be beautiful, which Leah did not have (Genesis 29:17)
Fact 2 | Rachel was granted the grace to be Jacob's favourite. She was loved not her sister (Genesis 29:18)
Fact 3 | Rachel was working not her sister. She's clearly identified as a shepherdess. Nothing is said about Leah's occupation (Genesis 29:9)
Why was Rachel not glowing?
● She was not glowing because she was not grateful for what she had and her sister didn't have. Nowhere we see her expressing gratitude.
● Rachel was complaining. We see her threatening for what her sister had and she didn't have.
● Before you go to the Next Level, you must thank God for the Now Level.
Chapter 5 | Praise now and raise next!
● The more thankful you will be the more level changing you will become.
● Jealous people are jealous for what others have but not thankful for what they have. To be free from jealous... Count your blessings.
● Turn your complaining into Thanksgiving (Psalms 92:1)
Why is praise a good thing?
● Praise changes your level from glory to glory.
● Anytime you praise God for the last blessing, you secure the next. blessing. You give God a good reason to continue to bless you and continue to change your level (Hosea 4:7)
● The will of God for you is from glory to glory | from increase to increase| from strength to strength (2 Corinthians 3:18/ 1 Thessalonians 4:10/ Psalms 84:7)
● Our God is always the God of NEXT LEVEL OPPORTUNITY... Give the Lord praise for the current level and you will secure the next level.
PRAISE SESSION
● Father, thank you for changing my life from glory to glory not from glory to shame.
● Father, thank you for filling my heart with joy and making my face to shine.
● Father, thank you for healing the broken hearted.
● Father, thank you for making me happy in you.
MAP DAY 4 | THURSDAY 07.04.2022: NEXT LEVEL| THE SPIRIT OF TERAH MUST DIE
CHAPTER 1 | INTRODUCTION
● Since the beginning of the MAP, we saw that THERE'S A TEST BEFORE THE NEXT.
● Remember *Proverbs 4:18... The path... The righteous... Shine
● If you fail the test, you will not reach the NEXT.
CHAPTER 2 | THE SPIRIT OF TERAH MUST DIE
● After studying the path, the righteous and shining... Let us look at MORE AND MORE.
What does MORE AND MORE mean:
● Something is becoming greater in amount, extent, or degree all the time.
● The will of God for you is more and more.
Biblical case: Terah failed the test ( Genesis 11:31)
- Those people left Ur and were going to Canaan.
- They didn't reach Canaan. They reached Haran. They decided to settle there.
- Eventually, Terah died there without reaching where he was supposed to reach.
What is Haran?
- Anything less than the standard of God.
- Anything less than God's original purpose for you.
- Settling for less than the fullness of God.
Who is Terah?
- Terah is a spirit of incompletion
- Terah is a spirit of discouragement
- Terah is a spirit of abortion and miscarriage
- Terah is a spirit of procrastination
- Terah is a spirit of distraction robbing you of your destination
- Terah is the spirit of settling for less
● After Terah died, Abraham moved to the next level.
CHAPTER 3 | THE SYMPTOMS OF TERAH. How do I now that I have the spirit of TERAH?
1- I settle for less than the best.
2- I start but I never finish and complete what I start.
3- I believe that I have arrived while the journey is still long ahead of me. (1 Kings 19:7)
4- I do nothing to know what's next (Acts 9:6)
5- I stop doing what I was heavenly assigned to do.
6- My past becomes my place of residence (Phil 3:13)
7- My fear is greater than my expectation.
8- There is nothing that excites me enough to take action. No more joy in prayer, in attending bible study, in meditating the Word of God.
9- I do the same things over and over again no longer with passion but as a routine.
10- I am frozen in fear, doubt, guilt, bitterness, anger etc.
11- I am content and comfortable with my current achievement and decide to settle for it ( Luke 12:16)
12- There is nothing new in my life. No improvement. No upgrading. No challenge. No spark. No innovation. No imagination.
13- I always fail to carry a pregnancy until the delivery of the baby.
14- I fail in my plan or my project.
15- A mission I'm involved in abort before it is completed.
16- I am able to conceive but unable to develop it.
17- I am able to start but unable to finish and establish.
18- I rarely celebrate my achievements.
19- I see my breakthrough coming but suddenly it disappears.
20- I am full of great ideas and opportunities but nothing comes out of them.
21- I always work on the foundation but I never finish.
22- I am under the attack of the spirit of premature death.
23- Those who watch me mock me and make fun of me, to laugh at me, to ridicule me
24- No reward, no crown, no graduation, no change of level, frustratiion, disappointment, no celebration, nothing to show, no testimony..
CHAPTER 4 | 3 KEYS TO KILL THE SPIRIT OF TERAH
● God doesn't want your life to be an object of mockery. He doesn't want your life to lack testimony. He doesn't want your life to look a failure.
● God wants your life to have proofs of achievement. He wants your life to be a celebration. He wants your life to be what He intended it to be.
THE KEYS ( Revelation 12:4-5)
KEY 1 | BELIEVE THAT GOD IS THE GOD OF COMPLETION AND COMPLETION IS YOUR BIRTHRIGHT
Observation 1 - In verse 5, the woman succeeded to carry the pregnancy until the end.
● God is the God who ALWAYS starts and ALWAYS brings whatever he starts unto completion. God is not the God of unfinished project ( Gen 2:1/ John 19:30/ Phil 1:6)
● If God is the one behind that project, if God is the one who started it, it will be completed.
● There is no beauty in unfinished projects. In the Name of Jesus Christ, your life will not look like an unfinished project.
KEY 2 | REMEMBER THAT YOU HAVE AN ENEMY
Observation 2 - The dragon standing before the woman does not care about her labor but about how to waste it and destroy what will come out of it.
● The devil is after what you carry.
Declare and Decree: I will not travail in vain. My pain will not be wasted. The devil will not steal from me the joy of giving birth ( John 16:21/ Is 62:8-9/ Ps 128:2)
KEY 3 | FOCUS
Observation 3 - Despite the presence of the dragon in front of her, the woman gave birth.
● The devil will succeed to destroy you if he succeeds to distract you. The spirit of Terah will easily work in your life if you are easily distracted.
● The presence of the enemy is not and will never be a reason for you to miscarry.
Declare and pray for your hands with Zec 4:9 and say ... : My hands have started this project. My hands have started this business. My hands will also finish it…
● In Luke 2:26-29, we discover that God has promised a man called Simeon that he would not die until he sees the birth of the Son Of God.
● In Luke 2:28-29, Simeon's eyes saw the fulfilment of the promise. His hands held the fulfilment of the promise.
Declare and pray with Luke 2:26-29... My hand will hold the fulfilment of what the Lord has promised to you in the Name Of Jesus Christ!
PRAYER POINTS
● IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST, I will carry that pregnancy/dream/project/mission/plan/business until the end.
● IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIT, the same finishing grace made available for this woman is also made available for me.
● IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST, my life will never look like an unfinished, abandoned or forsaken project.
● IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST, my hands have started this project. My hands have started this business. My hands will also finish it…
● IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST, No one/no devil/no demon shall take away from me what my hands have worked for.
● IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST,My hand will hold the fulfilment of what the Lord has promised to me
MAP DAY 5 | FRIDAY 08.04.2022: NEXT LEVEL| THE SPIRIT OF TERAH MUST DIE
CHAPTER 1 | INTRODUCTION
● So far, we have studied some people who failed to move to the NEXT LEVEL.
● Today, we will look at another one who failed. His name is Jonathan.
CHAPTER 2 | WHY DID JONATHAN FAIL?
● In 1 Samuel 23:18, we read about the covenant between David and Jonathan.
● God is aware of the covenant you make.
What was the covenant about?
● The Covenant was an agreement between David and Jonathan scorching to which when David would become King of Israel, Jonathan would be the deputy in the kingdom ( 1 Samuel 23:17)
● DID JONATHAN REACH THE NEXT LEVEL? The answer is NO. Why?
● Jonathan was taking actions contrary to his declarations.
- He wanted the CROWN but he was not ready for the CROSS.
- He wanted the PRODUCT but he wasn't ready for the PROCESS
- He wanted the POSITION but he wasn't ready for the OPPOSITION.
- He wanted GREATNESS but he wasn't ready for the WILDERNESS
- He wanted GLORY bit he wasn't ready for the GROANING.
- He was WISHING but he was not WILLING.
● 1 Samuel 23:18... David abides in the wood while Jonathan goes back to the palace.
● Jonathan failed to go to the NEXT LEVEL. He failed to become the deputy. He wanted to be on TOP but he wasn't ready to drink the CUP.
CHAPTER 3 | ARE YOU READY TO DRINK THE CUP FOR YOUR NEXT LEVEL?
● EVERY NEXT LEVEL YOU'D LIKE TO REACH IN LIFE COMES TOGETHER WITH A CUP TO DRINK.
QUESTION | ARE YOU READY TO DRINK THE CUP FOR YOUR NEXT LEVEL?
- If God raises others, why not you?
- If God gives others marriage, job, success... why not you?
- If God gives others houses, promotion? children... why not you?
- If God grant others to travel around the world, why not you?
- If God gives others spiritual gifts, why not you?
- If God gives others eternal life, peace, why not you?
● Are you ready to sacrifice what they were willing to sacrifice? Are you ready to obey as they obeyed?
Biblical case ( Matthew 20:21)
● The Bible tells us of the mother of James and John who came to the Lord with a request.
● What was the Lord's response to her request?
● His answer was a question: "Can you drink the cup that I’m going to drink?" ( Matthew 20:22)
● In the journey to your next level, there is a bitter cup to drink, there is a desert to cross.
CHAPTER 4 | WHY THE CUP?
What is the cup about?
- The CROSS before the CROWN
- The GROANING before the GLORY
- The WILDERNESS before the GREATNESS
- The PROCESS before the PRODUCT
- The SCAR before the STAR
Reason 1 | Before God shifts you to the NEXT LEVEL, He uses the cup to lift your thinking to the NEXT LEVEL
Explanation | UNTIL YOUR THINKING IS LIFTED TO THE NEXT LEVEL, YOUR LIFE WILL NEVER BE SHIFTED TO THE NEXT LEVEL ...
● Illustration | ISRAEL COULD NOT ENTER CANAAN WITH THE EGYPT KIND OF THOUGHT. THAT'S WHY THE WILDERNESS WAS A MUST.
Reason 2 | The cup provides the discomfort you need to shift you to the NEXT LEVEL
● Where you are is a stepping stone to where you are going. If you look at it as a stage, you will go to the NEXT LEVEL.
● If you make it a destination, it will lead you to stagnation. Why? Because anytime you believe you have arrived is the moment you become stagnant.
"Can you drink the cup that the giants have drunk and continue to drink?"
CHAPTER 5 | SOME CUPS YOU NEED TO DRINK TO GO TO NEXT LEVEL
1) THE CUP OF UNCONDITIONAL OBEDIENCE
● Abraham the giant in the faith had weaknesses like us, but he was a man ever ready to drink the cup of prompt obedience to the Lord's instructions .
● When God asks him to leave his country and immediately leaves without knowing where he is going ( Hebrews 11: 8).
● When God asks him again to be circumcised every male born in his house, without hesitation he obeyed.
● When God asks him to offer Isaac his only son, he took his son to the place of sacrifice.
● God's instructions never make sense, but as you obey, you will get your reward.
2) THE CUP OF REJECTION
● Joseph was a giant in a foreign country. Before he got there, he had to drink the cup of rejection.
● If you are not ready to suffer rejection, you will never enjoy promotion.
3) THE CUP OF PERSECUTION from those who can't handle your NEXT LEVEL.
● David was an impressive giant in the history of all the kings of Israel, but before that, he had to drink the cup of persecution from King Saul and the members of the tribe of Benjamin who were fighting him.
● Going through persecution does not mean that God is not with you.
● You will never go to the next level if you avoid persecution.
4) THE CUP OF HARD WORK
● You cannot change levels without hardwork. You can't change level being lazy.
5) THE CUP OF SEPARATION
● Someone once said, "To live the life you want, leave the life you don't want".
● There is no next level without separation.
CONCLUSION
● There is no giant in any area on this earth without a cup to drink. You cannot desire one without embracing the other.
● While you desire the crown of glory, don't forget that there is also the crown of thorn.
● As you aspire to the throne, do not lose sight of the cross. When you see the benefit, be also ready for the sacrifice. That is the cup of the giants.
PRAYER POINTS
Father, in the Name Of Jesus Christ...
● I PRAY... Grant me the grace to carry my pregnancy/dream/project/mission/plan/business until the end
● I PRAY... Release in me the finishing grace to give birth to what I carry in my womb.
● I PRAY... Don't let my life look like an unfinished, abandoned or forsaken project.
