MIRACLE 38 : THE SUPERNATURAL RESURRECTION OF JESUS CHRIST
Reading : MATTHEW 28:1-20; MARK 16:1-20; LUKE 24:1-12; JOHN 20:1-17
It has taken power to raise Jesus Christ from the dead. Unless power was made
available, Jesus would have remained in the grave. It is written in 1
Corinthians 6:14,

"God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power."
The power through which Jesus was resurrected was not
only a simple power. Paul calls it "exceeding greatness power".
We read it in Ephesians 1:19,
"And what [is] the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power"
The reason why Paul calls the power of resurrection
the exceeding greatness power is because all the three
personalities in God (the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit ) intervened to
make it happen.
It means in other words that the power that raised
Jesus Christ from the dead was not simply and merely any kind of energy. No. It
was the Power of the Father, the Power of the Son and the Power of the Holy
Spirit altogether put at work.
1) SCRIPTURES CONFIRM
THAT IT WAS THE FATHER WHO RAISED UP JESUS CHRIST FROM THE DEAD
Acts 2:32 This Jesus God has raised up, of which we are all witnesses.
2) SCRIPTURES CONFIRM THAT THE HOLY SPIRIT INTERVENED TO RAISE UP JESUS CHRIST FROM THE DEAD.
Romans 1:4 PHILIPS and patently marked out as the Son of God by the power of that Spirit of holiness which raised him to life again from the dead.
3) SCRIPTURES
CONFIRM THAT JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF ALSO INTERVENED TO RAISE UP FROM THE DEAD
The power that raised Jesus Christ is not only the
Power of the Father and the power of the Holy Spirit but also the Power of
Jesus Christ himself. Which means that Jesus Christ himself participated in his
own resurrection.
John 2:19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
John 10:17-18 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. 18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.
4 TRUTHS TO KNOW ABOUT THE EXCEEDING GREATNESS POWER OF RESURRECTION
THE GOOD NEWS TODAY IS THAT THE SAME EXCEEDING GREATNESS POWER IS IN YOU AS A SON OF GOD.
According to this text,
Paul gives unto us 4 precious truths that help us understand the exceeding
greatness power of resurrection:
o 1st truth: The
power of His resurrection is the highest realm of power, and it is accessible
by knowledge. Paul calls it “the exceeding greatness of his power” or “the
unlimited greatness of his power”.
Ephesians 1:19 "You will also know the unlimited greatness of his power as it works with might and strength for us, the believers."
o 2nd truth: The
exceeding greatness power is not just the exclusive privilege of the apostles,
evangelists, pastors and teachers alone; it is available to everyone that
believes.
Ephesians 1:19 And what [is] the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
o 3rd truth: The
exceeding greatness power that raised Jesus Christ from the dead is the
same God makes available for the believers.
Ephesians 1:19-20 PHILIPS “That power is the same divine energy which was demonstrated in Christ when he raised him from the dead and gave him the place of highest honour in Heaven —
Ephesians 1:20 GWV He worked with that same power in Christ when he brought him back to life and gave him the highest position in heaven.
o 4th truth: The
exceeding greatness power does not only raise from the dead but also positions
the believer far above all principality, and power, and might, and
dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in
that which is to come.
Ephesians 1:21 "...Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come"
PRAYER = PRAYER = PRAYER
🙏 PRAYER 1 | FATHER, BY THE EXCEEDING GREATNESS OF YOUR POWER IN ME, CAUSE MY FAMILY AND MY COUNTRY TO BE LISTED AMONG SIGNS AND WONDERS INTO THIS GENERATION IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!
PRAY with Isaiah 8:18 Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me [are] for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion.
🙏 PRAYER 2 | FATHER, BY THE EXCEEDING GREATNESS OF YOUR POWER IN ME, HELP ME TO WALK AND LIVE AS A MAN APPROVED OF YOU SO THAT SIGNS AND WONDERS WILL BE MY PORTION ALL THE DAYS OF MY LIFE IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!
PRAY with Acts 2:22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:
🙏 PRAYER 3| FATHER, WITHOUT YOUR HAND NOTHING IS POSSIBLE. WE PRAY THAT BY THE EXCEEDING GREATNESS OF YOUR POWER IN ME, YOU WILL STRETCH YOUR HAND AND PERFORM WONDERS IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST
PRAY with Acts 4:30 By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.
🙏 PRAYER 4 | FATHER, BY THE EXCEEDING GREATNESS OF YOUR POWER IN ME, MAY YOUR WORD WORKS WONDERS IN MY LIFE THEREBY MAKING ME A LIVING TESTIMONY IN MY GENERATION IN JESUS NAME! ALSO GRANT UNTO US THE GRACE OF BOLDNESS IJN
PRAY with Acts 14:3 Long time therefore abode they speaking boldly in the Lord, which gave testimony unto the word of his grace, and granted signs and wonders to be done by their hands.
🙏 PRAYER 5 | FATHER, BY THE EXCEEDING GREATNESS OF YOUR POWER IN ME, LET THE PREACHING OF THE GOSPEL BE CONFIRMED POWERFULLY BY THE HOLY SPIRIT WITH SIGNS AND WONDERS THEREBY DRAWING MULTITUDE TO CHRIST AND THIS CHURCH IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!
PRAY with Romans 15:19 Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.
PRAY with Hebrews 2:4 God also bearing [them] witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?
🙏 PRAYER 6 | FATHER, THE SAME WAY DEATH WAS NOT ABLE TO STOP JESUS CHRIST, THE SAME WAY I PRAY THAT BY THE EXCEEDING GREATNESS OF YOUR POWER IN ME, YOU WILL DESTROY ANY OBSTACLE ON MY WAY IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!
PRAY with Acts 2:24 Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.
🙏 PRAYER 7 | FATHER, BY THE EXCEEDING GREATNESS OF YOUR POWER IN ME, CAUSE TOTAL RESTORATION OF WHATEVER THE DEVIL HAS DESTROYED, KILLED AND STOLEN IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST !
PRAY with 2 Samuel 9:7 And David said unto him, Fear not: for I will surely shew thee kindness for Jonathan thy father’s sake, and WILL RESTORE THEE ALL THE LAND OF SAUL THY FATHER; and thou shalt eat bread at my table continually.
PRAY with Jeremiah 30:17 For I WILL RESTORE HEALTH unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD; because they called thee an Outcast, [saying], This [is] Zion, whom no man seeketh after.
PRAY with Joel 2:25 And I WILL RESTORE TO YOU THE YEARS that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.
🙏 PRAYER 8 | FATHER, BY THE EXCEEDING GREATNESS OF YOUR POWER IN ME, CAUSE ANY DREAM THE ENEMY HAS BURIED TO COME BACK TO LIFE IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!
PRAY with Genesis 37:9 And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me.
SO SHALL IT BE!
JESUS IS LORD!
