⏩ COVENANT MONTH OF DOMINION ⏪ DAY 15 "EMBRACING THE COVENANT OF THE PEACE OF GOD"

Peace comes from the Hebrew word Shalom which means: wholeness and completion-nothing missing, nothing lacking.

Peace includes safety, health, welfare, favor, restoration, security, success, and happiness.

When we read Isaiah 54:10, the Lord speaks specifically about  "THE COVENANT OF MY PEACE", saying,
For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee.

WHAT IS IN THE COVENANT OF THE PEACE OF GOD?

3 blessings proceed out of the covenant of the peace of God : an unbreakable inner peace in the midst of shaking environnement; the permanent presence of God among his people and security, safety and confidence.

1) An Unbreakable inner peace in the midst of a shaking environment

In Isaiah 54:10 God assures his people who enter into a covenant with him that no matter the mountains and the hills challenging them, they are entitled to unbreakable and unremovable peace.
"Mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall THE COVENANT OF MY PEACE be removed, saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee."
APPLICATION TO THE LORD JESUS CHRIST :  In the midst of the raging storm, Jesus was sleeping peacefully because he was enjoying the blessing of the covenantal peace.

2) Permanent presence of God in the midst of his people

In Ezekiel 37:26-28 the Lord goes further and promises to set his tabernacle permanently
I will make a COVENANT OF PEACE with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.  My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people.  And the heathen shall know that I the Lord do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.
APPLICATION TO THE LORD JESUS CHRIST : The very reason why Jesus was permanently and constantly peaceful and restful was because Jesus was permanently and constantly conscious of the presence of his Father with him

3) Security, Safety and Confidence

In Ezekiel 34:25, God says,
"I will make with them a COVENANT OF PEACE, and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land: and they shall dwell safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods."

APPLICATION TO THE LORD JESUS CHRIST : In Mark 1:13 the Gospel says concerning Jesus Christ,
"And he was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted of Satan; and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered unto him."
