⏩ COVENANT MONTH OF PREVAILING PRAYER ⏪ KEY 20 "THE GOD OF REMEMBRANCE"

What is remembrance?

In the Bible the word "remembrance" is used of God in the sense of God stretching his hand on fulfilling His promises.

In every case in Scriptures, the idea is the same: God remembers in the sense of taking action on His promises.

Unless God remembers Abraham and his covenant, Lot would have died in the wicked cities of Sodom and Gomorrah,. The Bible says in Genesis 19:29 that God “remembered Abraham” and spared Lot on his behalf.

When Rachel wanted to bear children, but could not, we read that “God remembered Rachel” and she conceived (Genesis 30:22).

When Israel was in bondage in Egypt, we read that “God remembered His covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob” (Exodus 2:24).

When Mary conceived Jesus by the Holy Spirit, she praised God who remembered His mercy as He had spoken to Abraham and his offspring (Luke 1:54-55).

The penitent thief on the cross asked, “Jesus, remember me when You come in Your kingdom” (Luke 23:42).

Divine remembrance does not mean that God can ever forget. It simply means God's special and particular attention toward someone. The same way you zoom your camera lens on an object, divine remembrance zooms God’s attention on the remembered. And anytime God remembers a man or a people his hand is always stretched to perform the humanly impossible.

1st case : When God remembered Noah, he made a wind blow over the earth and the water started to go down.

Genesis 8:1 God remembered Noah and all the wild and domestic animals with him in the ship. So God made a wind blow over the earth, and the water started to go down.

2nd case : When God remembered the covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, he came down to terminate 430 years of slavery, of groaning, of servitude in Egypt.

Exodus 2:24 And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob.
Exodus 6:5 And I have also heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage; and I have remembered my covenant.

MY PRAYER TODAY

1) Today, I pray God to remember you. I pray my Father to zoom His attention on you. I pray God to bring you into focus. This divine force of rememberance which pulled Joseph and Mordecai out of obscurity, I pray that the same force will give you the position you do not deserve and advance you supernaturally IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!

Malachi 3:16 Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard [it], and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.
MY CONFESSIONS TODAY

1) IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST, I WILL PRAY WITHOUT CEASING, I WILL PRAY ALWAYS, I WILL PRAY AND FAINT NOT UNTIL MY GOD REMEMBERS ME ! LET IT BE SO!

2) ANY DISCOURAGEMENT AND HOPELESSNESS IS DECLARED CONQUERED IN YOUR SPIRIT AND SOUL IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!

3) Today, I see God remembering you. I see God zooming His attention on you. I see God bringing you into focus. This divine force will pull you out of obscurity into limelight. It will give you the position you do not deserve. It will terminate years of stagnation and pain. God will remember you today in Jesus Name.

SO SHALL IT BE!

JESUS IS LORD!
