WHAT DOES IT MEAN "GOD IS ABLE" ?God is called "Almighty" in His Word. In the New Testament, the Greek word for Almighty is the word "pantokrator" which comes from "pas" meaning "all" and "kratos" meaning "power, force or impact."
If you look up the word able, it means having necessary power, skill, resources, or qualifications.
When we say, “God is able,” we are actually saying that God has the power, skill, resources, and qualifications to handle whatever situation we might face.
God is able means that "God is all powerful". From Scriptures, we find 12 things God is able to do in our lives
1st THING : "GOD IS ABLE TO KEEP ME FROM FALLING"
“Now unto Him that is ABLE to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, to the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, now and ever. Amen.” (Jude 1:24-25)
2nd THING : PRAISE AND PRAYER 2 "GOD IS ABLE TO RAISE THE DEAD"
"...accounting that God was ABLE to raise him up even from the dead, from whence he also received him, in a figurative sense." (Hebrews 11:19)
MY CONFESSION : Whatever is dead in your life (relationship, finances, etc), pray the Lord the Father who is able to raise up the dead to raise it up IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST !
3rd THING : "GOD IS ABLE TO SUCCOR ME IN TEMPTATION"
"For in that He Himself hath suffered, being tempted, He is ABLE to succor those who are tempted." (Hebrews 2:18)
MY CONFESSION TODAY : Pray the Father for supernatural power and intervention to escape temptations IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!
4th THING : "GOD IS ABLE TO SUBDUE ALL THINGS"
"...God shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto His glorious body, according to the working whereby He is ABLE even to subdue all things unto Himself." (Philippians 3:21)
MY CONFESSION TODAY : Is there anything challenging you? Pray the Father God to release his power to subdue this specific challenge IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!
5th THING : "GOD IS ABLE TO MAKE ALL GRACE ABOUND"
"God is ABLE to make all grace abound toward you, that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound in every good work." (2 Corinthians 9:8)
MY CONFESSION TODAY : Pray the Father God to release the abundance of all grace in every area of your life IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!
6th THING : "GOD IS ABLE TO MAKE ME STAND"
"Who art thou who judgest another man’s servant? To his own master he standeth or falleth; yea, he shall be held up, for God is ABLE to make him stand." (Romans 14:4)
MY CONFESSION TODAY : Pray that the Father makes every area of your life to stand (your marriage, your carreer, your business, your ministry ...)
7th THING : "GOD IS ABLE TO GRAFT ME AGAIN"
"And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in, for God is ABLE to graft them in again." (Romans 11:23)
MY CONFESSION TODAY : Anything that was disconnected or closed by the enemy against you, pray the Father God to reconnect it and open it for you again.
8th THING : "GOD IS ABLE TO BUILD ME UP"
"And now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is ABLE to build you up and to give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified." (Acts 20:32)
MY CONFESSION TODAY : Pray the Father to build up your faith, your prayer life, your spiritual life,
9th THING : "GOD IS ABLE TO RAISE UP CHILDREN FROM THE STONES"
"Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say among yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I say unto you, that God is ABLE from these stones to raise up children unto Abraham." (Luke 3:8)
MY CONFESSION TODAY : Praise the Father who is able from the stones to raise up children unto Abraham
Pray the Father to raise you from the dust
10th THING : "GOD IS ABLE TO DO EXCEEDING ABUNDANTLY ABOVE ALL"
"Now unto Him that is ABLE to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, …" (Ephesians 3:20)
MY CONFESSION TODAY : Praise the Father who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that you ask or think.
What do you expect the Father to do ? Pray the Father who is able to do it exceeding abundantly IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!
11th THING : "GOD IS ABLE TO MAKE ME ABLE TO DO"
"I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." (Philippians 4:13)
MY CONFESSION TODAY : I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST
Pray the Father to empower you to do what you cannot do by yourself.
12th THING : "GOD IS ABLE TO DELIVER ME FROM DEATH"
"God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver [us] out of thine hand, O king." (Daniel 3:17)
MY CONFESSION TODAY : Praise the Father who is able to deliver you from challenges, trials, tribulations, persecutions of life.
SO SHALL IT BE !!!
