⏩ COVENANT OF MARVELS ⏪ DAY 15 "EPHPHATHA"

IT IS WRITTEN

Mark 7:34-35 And looking up to heaven, Jesus sighed, and saith unto him, Ephphatha, that is, Be opened. And straightway his ears were opened, and the bond of his tongue was loosed and he spoke plainly.

KEY STATEMENT

JUST ONE WORD "EPHPHATHA" (=BE OPENED) FROM THE LORD WAS ENOUGH TO PUT AN END TO YEARS OF AFFLICTION BY LOOSING THE TONGUE AND THE EAR OF THIS DEAF AND MUTE MAN.

Mark 7:34 And looking up to heaven, he sighed, and saith unto him, Ephphatha, that is, Be opened.

LESSON 1 THE KEY TO HEALING IS THE HEALER HIMSELF NOT THE WAY THE HEALER HEALS.

In today's text, we see that some people came to Jesus Christ with a man who had an impediment in his speech. As they come to Christ, we notice that they come not only to expose to Jesus their problem but they come also asking Jesus how he would solve their problem.

Their problem was "the impediment in the speech". Their request was that Jesus would put his hand on him. We find it in Mark 7:32,

"And they bring unto him one that was deaf, and had an impediment in his speech; and they beseech him to put his hand upon him."

WORDS OF EXHORTATION FOR YOU : 

• When we come to Christ we make our request known to him and we wait upon him to direct and answer us. We don't tell him how and what to do to answer us because it is him who leads us not us who lead him.

• Just because Some got healed when Jesus laid his hands on them, it doesn't mean laying hands is the key to healing. Jesus never deals with every case the same way. No matter the way God will use, surrender totally and unconditionally to his guidance knowing He is God and you are man.

LESSON 2 : SEPARATION IS KEY TO RESTORATION

We see in this text, Jesus holding the hand of the man to lead him aside from the multitude. 

In V 33, we read this, "... He took him aside from the multitude..."

Why did Jesus take him aside? By doing so, Jesus separates him from the multitude to be close to him, to restore his relationship with him before he could restore what the devil has damaged in his life. 

WORDS OF EXHORTATION FOR YOU : 

• Jesus is more concerned to restore your fellowship and relationship with him first than to restore what is damaged in your life.

• Before his hands heal you, his hands must lead you. Before he is your healer he wants to be your leader

LESSON 3 JESUS IS THE CREATOR AND THE MAKER. HE CREATES WITH HIS WORD AND MAKES WITH HIS HANDS

In the process of performing miracle Jesus uses not only his Word but also his fingers,  his hands and his saliva.

Still in verse 33, the Bible says that, "Jesus put his fingers into his ears, and he spit, and touched his tongue;

A WORD TO YOU : JESUS IS NOT ONLY THE CREATOR HE IS ALSO THE MAKER. HE CREATES WITH HIS WORD AND MAKES WITH HIS HANDS. WHAT HIS WORD CREATES, HIS HANDS MAKE.

LESSON 4 ONE WORD OF JESUS IS ENOUGH TO SETTLE YOUR CASE

JUST ONE WORD "EPHPHATHA" (= BE OPENED) WAS ENOUGH TO LOOSE HIS TONGUE AND HEAL HIS EARS.

A WORD TO YOU : One word from Jesus is enough to unlock what is locked, to release what is bound, to change what is stack. JUST ONE WORD . . .

Today ONE WORD "EPHPHATHA" FROM THE LORD is released on your behalf :

• to open any door closed by the enemy

Isaiah 45:1-5

• to open the way to new opportunities for your life

Isaiah 57:14

• to set before thee an unshutable door

Revelation 3:8

Today pray and mention by name anything you know is closed and declare "EPHPHATHA" over it IN THE NAME OF JESUS ! ! !

I DECLARE AND DECREE TODAY AN "EPHPHATHA" DAY FOR YOU, YOUR FAMILY, YOUR MINISTRY IN THE NAME OF JESUS-CHRIST ! ! !

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS AND PRAYERS

PRAYER 1 | My Lord My Savior, today I release the power of EPHPHATHA to open any door the enemy has closed in your precious Name!

Isaiah 45:1 "Thus saith the LORD to His anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have held to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings to open before him the twoleaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut:

PRAYER 2 | My Lord My Savior, today in your precious name I release the power of EPHPHATHA to open the way to new opportunities for my life, my family, my ministry and my loved ones.

Isaiah 57:14 And shall say, ‘Cast ye up, cast ye up, prepare the way; take up the stumbling block out of the way of My people.’"

PRAYER 3| My Lord My Savior, today in your precious name I release the power of EPHPHATHA to set before me unshutable doors.

Revelation 3:8 I know thy works. Behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it. For thou hast a little strength, and hast kept My Word, and hast not denied My name.

PRAYER 4| My Lord My Savior, just one word "EPHPHATHA" (=be opened) from your mouth was enough to put an end to years of affliction. Today I declare and I decree "EPHPHATHA" from your mouth to put an end to all my afflictions in your precious name !!!

Nahum 1:9 What do ye contrive against the LORD? He will make an utter end; affliction shall not rise up the second time.

IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST !
