POWER OF THE PRAYER ALTAR DAY 17 "ONLY TIRELESSNESS CAN DEFEAT AMALEK"

I. SIX SIGNS THAT AMALEK IS AT WORK

Before you can be able to fight Amalek, it is important for you to know how Amalek works.

1) Amalek never fights you when you are strong. He comes only when you are tired and thirsty to take advantage of your weariness. This is one of the devil's favorite strategy.. In Deuteronomy 25:18, Moses says this concerning the Amalekites,
"The Amalekites attacked you when you were tired and exhausted ..."
2) Amalek never attacks from the front. He always attacks from behind. Still in Deuteronomy 25:18, Moses continues to say this concerning the Amalekites
"... They killed all those who were lagging behind."
3) Amalek never attacks you when you are focused. He always attacks when you are distracted, when your attention is diverted, when you lose focus.

We see them using this strategy against David when he left Tsiklag to go to fight Israel with the Philistines.
1 Samuel 30:1 (GW)  Two days later, when David and his men came to Ziklag, the Amalekites had raided the Negev, including Ziklag. They had attacked Ziklag and burned it.
4) Just immediately after Israel came out of Egypt,  Amalek came to block the way to their promise land and to stop their journey so that they they will stagnate in the same place.
1 Samuel 15:2 (GW)  This is what the Lord of Armies says: I will punish Amalek for what they did to Israel. They blocked Israel's way after the Israelites came from Egypt.
5) Amalek doesn't always fight alone. Sometimes, he can join hands with Midian. Now when he networks with Midian, they don't fight you when you sow or invest. They wait until the time of harvest to attack and take the harvest away.
Judges 6:3 And so it was, when Israel had sown, that the Midianites came up, and the Amalekites, and the children of the east, even they came up against them;
6) Amalek dwells in the valley. That's why they fight to keep you in the valley so that you will die there.
Numbers 14:25 (Now the Amalekites and the Canaanites dwelt in the valley.) To morrow turn you, and get you into the wilderness by the way of the Red sea.
HOW TO FIGHT AND DEFEAT AMALEK?

In Exodus 17:9, Moses said unto Joshua,
"Choose us out men, and go out, fight with Amalek. Tomorrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in mine hand."
Those 3 instructions of Moses to Joshua are the threefold strategy to set into place at your prayer altar to fight and defeat Amalek:

1st instruction : Choose men

When Moses mentions men, he means mature people. In other words, it means that   babes and immature people are not qualified to fight against Amalek.

2nd instruction : Go out

By this instruction, Moses is calling to get out of the comfort zone to fight Amalek. In other words, Amalek is not dealt with when you   stay home, when you lay on your bed, when you  fold your arms or when you sit on your sofa.

c) Fight (= confront, resist, )

Joshua was fighting the Amalekites in the valley while Moses was fighting at the prayer altar  on the top of the mountain with Aaron and Hur. The Bible says,
Exodus 17:11 (KJV)  And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed.
You fight when you are on duty for the Kingdom of God, when you are in your God given field, when you are doing your God given assignment, when you engage spiritual at your prayer altar.
