Today is day 16 MASSIVE HEALINGS IN THE CITY

Read Matthew 8:16-17; Mark 1:32-34; Luke 4:40-41

INTRODUCTION

In those texts we see Jesus operating massive healings taking place in the city.

When we say massive we mean:

§ much larger than normal,

§ of great import or significance;

§ of particularly exceptional quality or value;

§ so large that it cannot be counted or numbered

In Matthew 8:16 it is written “They brought unto him many that were possessed with devils …”

In Mark 1:33, it is written “All the city was gathered together at the door”

In Mark 1:34, it is written “Jesus healed many that were sick…”

In Luke 4:40, it is written “All they that had any sick with divers diseases brought them unto him; and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them.”

PRAYER 1 PRAY FOR MASSIVE HEALINGS, DELIVERANCES AND SALVATIONS TO TAKE PLACE IN OUR COMMUNITY, CITY AND COUNTRY

LET US PRAY

Heavenly Father, the same way the whole city came to Jesus, I pray with faith that you release your power to draw and save as many as possible in my family, in my workplace, in my marketplace, in my community and in my city.

Read and pray with John 6:44

Holy Spirit, blow from the four winds and breathe upon my city, my community, my family and my country causing the dead to come back to life, the sick to be healed, the weak to be strong and the unsaved to be saved in the Name of Jesus Christ.

Read and pray with Ezekiel 37:9-10

PRAYER 2 PRAY FOR KNOWLEDGE OF TIMES AND SEASONS

From all those texts, we notice that those massive healings took place in a specific time: in the evening.

The evening is prophetically symbolized as the end time or the last days. What does the Bible concerning the last days?

“It shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams” (Acts 2:17)

LET US PRAY

Father, open my mind, give me understanding, unlock my spiritual knowledge and release fresh wisdom so that I will make the most of the times and seasons I am in.

PRAYER 3 PRAY THAT YOUR LIFE WILL BE A LIVING PROOF OF FULFILLMENT OF PROPHECIES

What was the purpose of those massive healings?

The purpose was not for show or entertainment but the fulfillment of prophecies as it is written in Matthew 8:17

“That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare [our] sicknesses.”

LET US PRAY

Father, I pray that by your grace my faith shall be strongly rooted, grounded and founded on your promises concerning me, my family, my ministry and my country so that none fails to be fulfilled in my lifetime in Jesus’ Name.

Father, your Word is true and never lies. I pray that you will cause my life to be a living proof of the truth of your Word. I pray that my family, my marriage, my ministry be a living proof of fulfillment of prophecies in Jesus’ Name.

PRAYER 4 PRAY TO BE FILLED WITH THE WORD OF GOD

In Matthew 8:16 it is written “… Jesus cast out the spirits with [his] word ...”

From this text we notice that the Word Of God always carries irresistible power, healing power, creative power, changing power, transforming power and demon casting power. Satan, demons, sicknesses and all other challenges cannot stand before the unchallengeable power of the Word of Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ doesn’t only have the Word in his heart and his mouth, but he is also himself the Word.

LET US PRAY

Father, fill me, baptize me, immerse me in the flowing river of the Word. Let every part of my being, my feelings, my emotions, my mind, my thoughts, my body be soaked and showered with your Word.

In the Name of Jesus Christ, I command anything challenging my body, my mind, my feelings, my relationships, my children, my husband, my wife, my country, my continent, my health, my finances, my ministry, my business, my friends to give way and to bow before the authority of Jesus Christ.
