INTERCESSORY PRAYER GUIDELINES

PRAYER 1 ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

It is written in Luke 13:11 KJVS "There was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years ... "

What is this long lasting affliction that has always challenged  your life ?  Mention it in the presence of God and declare with faith its end NOW.

LET US PRAY

- Father, this affliction has taken so many years. In the Name of Jesus Christ, I declare and I decree "Enough is enough. It must stop"

Read and pray with Psalms 129 and Proverbs 23:18

- Father, the same way you have used Moses to terminate 430 years of slavery, I pray and I ask that you use me as your instrument who will put an end to any generational servitude in my family, my community IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST !

Read and pray with Exodus 3:9-10

- Father. this bareness has taken long. The same way you have terminated 25 years of Sara's bareness, I cry unto you today that you put an end to this bareness and open my womb IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST !

Read and pray with Genesis 21:1-6

- Father, since my youth I have been victim of this particular challenge (mention it yourself). I pray that the same way you have terminated 18 years of infirmity, you stretch your hand to put an end to it today IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!

Read and pray with Psalm 129

- Father, this poverty has taken long. I am tired of begging. I am tired of borrowing. I am tired of depending on others. I cry unto you today to enlarge me financially. Let this poverty stop in my life and family IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST !

PRAYER 2 PRAY FOR YOUR ATTENDANCE TO CHURCH SERVICE AND SPIRITUAL ACTIVITIES

We read in Luke 13:11 that despite her ailment,   the woman was attending the synagogue.

What about your attendance to church service ? to bible studies ? to outreach ministry?

LET US PRAY

- Father, forgive me my lukewarmness and my inconsistency in the kingdom advancement endeavour. Have mercy on me and lift me up so that I can be more committed and engaged   IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST !

PRAYER 3 PRAY FOR UNDERSTANDING OF TIMES AND SEASONS

This woman was at the right place, at the right time,  doing the right thing.

LET US PRAY

- Father. I pray that you grant me by your Spirit to have the discernment of times and seasons so that my visitation should not pass me by IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST !

PRAYER 4 PRAY FOR YOUR MOCKERS

In order for that woman to be able to attend the weekly meetings in the synagogue despite her ailment,  it has taken boldness to overlook people's mockeries.

LET US PRAY

- Father,  I pray and ask you to forgive all my mockers. I pray that you bless them. I pray that you keep them alive so that in due time they will be witness of my miracle IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!

- Father, I pray that you grant me the grace to overlook people's opinions concerning me, mockeries and insults, IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST !

PRAY 5 PRAY AGAINST THE SPIRIT OF INFIRMITY

In Luke 13:11, it is written "the woman had a spirit of infirmity ... and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself ."

Let us pray

- Father, in the Name of Jesus Christ, I rebuke the spirit of infirmity in me that causes me :

• To be unable to straighten my body
• To be unable to look upward or forward
• To be unable to see my bright future and destiny
• To be bent over spiritually, emotionally, financially and physically.
• To think only sex, world, clothes, shoes, money, ...
• To only look upon people for help

PRAY 6 PRAY FOR YOUR CALLING

In Luke 13:12, it is written " Jesus saw her, he called her to him , and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity."

Here we see that before Jesus could heal her, he saw her and called her to him

LET US PRAY

- Father,  I pray today that you reveal to me my calling and my purpose on the earth. Unveil it to me. Make it clear to me so that my life can be aligned with your perfect will IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST  !

PRAYER 7 PRAY FOR THE SPIRITUAL UNDERSTANDING OF YOUR IDENTITY IN CHRIST

In Luke 13:16, Jesus reveals that the woman was a daughter of Abraham.

LET US PRAY

- Father, I pray that by your Word, you reveal me my identity in Christ. Reveal me  my worth in Christ. Reveal  me how wonderfully I am made. Reveal me how precious I am in your sight.

- Father, I pray that you help me to appreciate my worth. Keep me from despising myself. Keep me from hating myself IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST !
