DAY 6 JESUS RAISES THE WIDOW'S SON (Luke 7:11-17)
11 And it came to pass the day after, that he went into a city called Nain; and many of his disciples went with him, and much people.
12 Now when he came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with her.
13 And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not.
14 And he came and touched the bier: and they that bare him stood still. And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise.
15 And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he delivered him to his mother.

INTERCESSORY PRAYER GUIDELINES
PRAYER 1 PRAY FOR THE QUALITY OF MY DISCIPLESHIP AND RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS CHRIST
In Luke 7:11, it is written, "... many of his disciples went with him, and much people.".
We see clearly 2 categories of Jesus' followers : the disciples and much people.
The question is this : what is the quality of my discipleship and of my relationship with jesus Christ? Where am I listed ? Among the disciples or among the "much people"?
LET US PRAY:
- Father, I dont want to be listed among the "much people" but among the disciples. Therefore, help me in the Name of Jesus Christ to follow you wholeheartedly and personnally not grudgingly, coldly and heartlessly

PRAYER 2 PRAY AGAINST PREMATURE DEATH
In Luke 7:12, it is written "... There was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with her."
LET US PRAY
- Father, I pray that it should never happen to me to bury my children. I pray that my children should live longer than me IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!

PRAYER 3.PRAY TO STOP EVIL CYCLES OF DEATH AND EVIL PATTERNS.
In Luke 17:12, it is written "... she was a widow...".
What does it mean? It means that she had already buried her husband. Now, she is again on her way to bury her son.
Check your life. What is that evil pattern that repeat itself over and over in your life? What is the generational pattern that happened to the previous generation and is happening to your generation ?
LET US PRAY
- Father, It is written in Proverbs 23:18 "For surely there is an end". I pray that this season shall be the end of evil pattern of deaths, of disappointments, of sicknesses, of bad news, of setbacks IN THE NAME OF JESUS !
- Father, it is written in Nahum 1:9 "Affliction shall not rise again the second time". I pray by the power of the blood and of the Name of Jesus Christ that affliction should not keep on repeating again and again in myr life
- Father, I pray that in the Name of Jesus Christ the cycle of death is broken in my country, in my family, in my community, ...

PRAYER 4 PRAY FOR MY HOPE TO BE KEPT ALIVE
In Luke 7:12, it is written "... the dead man was the only son of his mother..."
What does it mean? It means that the boy who died was the only one she had. He was her only heir. He was the only one through which the family's name would continue upto the next generation.

- Father, I pray against any demonic attack against my children who are called to be the continuity of my name. I pray againt any attack of the enemy against my hope and my faith causing me to be hopeless, discouraged, stressed, depressed,

- Father, I pray that you use me as an instrument of comfort toward those who cry. Use me as a comforter, an uplifter, an encourager and a source of faith and hope for the hopeless IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!

PRAYER 6 PRAY AND PROPHECY LIFE OVER ANYTHING DEAD IN YOUR LIFE
In Luke 7:14, it is written, "Jesus said to the dead, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise."
What does it mean ? It means that Jesus Christ spoke life to the dead and the dead heard Jesus' voice and came back to life.
In the midst of the dry bones, God said to Ezekiel "Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD." (Ezekiel 37:4)
LET US PROPHESY UPON THE DRY BONES
- What are the dry bones that challenge your life? With faith and authority, Speak, Prophecy and Declare life over anything you know is dead in your life
IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
Prophetic
* The anointing in my life will never be wasted. It will move you from place to place.
* The anointing will be effective as your heart is moved with compassion and you dress the apostolic mantle.
* God will make clear his purpose over your life
4 informations concerning the dead man
1. # V12 The dead was not a boy but a man (was mature).
2. # He was the only son of his mother
Read 2 Samuel 14:7; 2 Kings 4: 16-20; Jeremiah 6:26; Amos 8:10; Zechariah 12:10;
According to those texts, we get 3 informations concerning being the only son of a widow :
* He is the only heir
* He is the only and last hope
* He is the keeper of the father's name
3. # He was dead but not yet buried. He was in the process of being buried. but Jesus showed up to cancel his burial.
In this season, God is coming to cancel every burial plan of the enemy against our life.
4. # He was an orphan
We have a moral and spiritual duty to care about widows and orphans
Read Job 29:13 ... I caused the widow's heart to sing with joy
Read James 1:27 KJV "Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world".

a) He touched the bier to stop the procession heading to the grave
Lesson 1 : Jesus didn't only stop the procession but he also stopped a cycle of death in that woman's house

Lesson 2 : Jesus didn't only stop the procession but he also cancelled the burial plan of the enemy
WE DECLARE CANCELLED THE BURIAL PLAN OF THE ENEMY AGAINST OUR LIFE
b) He spoke to the dead "YOUNG MAN, I SAY UNTO THEE, ARISE"
