🔵 𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆’𝘀 𝗛𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗲𝘄 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗶𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗱 (חֶסֶד).

 

𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟬𝟳-𝟬𝟵- 𝗛𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗲𝘄 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗢𝗳 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗗 𝗞𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗸𝘂

🔵 𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆’𝘀 𝗛𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗲𝘄 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗶𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗱 (חֶסֶד). 𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 “𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗱,” 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗮 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹, 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲. 🔵 Psalm 36:5 says: “Your mercy, O Lord, is in the heavens…” 🔵 That means God’s Chesed is huge—higher than the sky, bigger than anything we can imagine. It never stops, never quits, and never ends. 🔵 Chesed is not the “I feel happy today” kind of love. It’s not a feeling that comes and goes like the weather. Chesed is God’s covenant love. It’s the kind of love that is always there, no matter what. 🔵 This is not a “sometimes” love. It’s not a love that only shows up when you’re being good. It’s a pinky-promise love that God made and will never break. It’s stubborn, it’s loyal, and it lasts forever. 🔵 That’s why David looked up at the sky and said, “God’s love is so big it reaches all the way to the heavens!” 🔵 Imagine your parents! They love you not because you’re perfect. They love you just because you’re theirs. And even when you mess up, their love doesn’t disappear. It stays. That’s Chesed—it’s stubborn love that refuses to let you go! 🔵 Imagine again you are holding a balloon. If you let go, whoosh! it flies far, far away into the sky. But God’s love is not like that balloon. God’s chesed is like the strongest string in the whole world. He holds onto you with both hands and never, ever lets go—even when you wiggle, even when you hide, even when you feel far away. 🔵 You don’t have to earn it. You don’t have to perform to get it.
