DECEMBER HOPE | Day 1: Anchor Your Hope in the Redeemer

DECEMBER HOPE DEVOTIONS

Day 1: Anchor Your Hope in the Redeemer

"For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth." (Job 19:25, KJV)

"For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again..." (Job 14:7, KJV). A tree's roots, unseen and deep, hold the promise of new life. Your prolonged struggle has deep roots in God's sovereignty. Your "case" is not forgotten; it is held in the hands of the Eternal Judge. As Job, in his profound suffering, could still declare his faith in a living Redeemer, so can you. Your hope is not in a swift outcome, but in the unwavering character of the One who holds your future.

Declaration: No matter how long my case has taken, there is hope for me because my God lives (Job 19:25-27).

Father, in The Name Of Jesus Christ, I pray, steady my heart on the rock of Your eternal presence. When I am tempted to despair over the duration of my trial, remind me that my Redeemer lives and my story is not yet over. Anchor my soul in You.
