Day 2: Cling to the Hope of the Living
"For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope..." (Ecclesiastes 9:4, KJV)
"At least there is hope for a tree: If it is cut down, it will sprout again" (Job 14:7). The scripture contrasts a tree's potential with the finality of a deceased man, yet here you are—alive and breathing! Your very existence is a testament to God's unfulfilled purpose for you. The enemy would have you focus on the prognosis, but God calls you to focus on the promise inherent in your breath. For every living soul that seeks Him, there is divine potential and a future.
Declaration: No matter what the doctors have said, there is hope for me because I am alive and for every living there is hope (Ecclesiastes 9:4).
Father, in The Name Of Jesus Christ, I pray, ignite my spirit with the truth that my life is a canvas for Your glory. I choose to magnify the Giver of life over any negative report. My breath is my declaration of hope.
