15 Days Devotion - Allowing Yourself to Dream | Day 4: Guard the Sacredness of Your Vision

15 Days Devotion - Allowing Yourself to Dream | Day 4: Guard the Sacredness of Your Vision

Reference Verse:

“Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine…” — Matthew 7:6a (KJV)

Application:

Your God-given dream is sacred—and not everyone is equipped to steward it with you. Premature disclosure or sharing with the wrong people can invite skepticism, discouragement, or even spiritual opposition. Like Mary, who “pondered these things in her heart” (Luke 2:19), cultivate the wisdom to hold your vision in quiet faith until the time is right.

Lesson:

In their infancy, dreams are tender and easily bruised. Discernment is not secrecy—it’s stewardship. Learn to recognize who carries the spiritual maturity, faith, and alignment to speak into your calling without defiling it.

Devotional Thought:

Your vision is a holy seed entrusted to you by God. Do not let scoffers trample it underfoot with doubt or derision. Nurture it in environments saturated with prayer, faith, and prophetic encouragement. Silence is sometimes your sanctuary—protect your dream until it has taken root and can withstand the winds of opposition.

Closing Prayer:

Father, clothe me with divine discernment. Teach me to guard the sacred deposit You’ve placed within me. Show me when to speak and when to wait in silence. Shield my vision from premature exposure and ungodly influence. Let Your voice and perfect timing be my compass. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
