15 Days Devotion - Allowing Yourself to Dream | Day 5: Stir Your Dream into Motion
Reference Verse :
“Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.” — James 2:17 (KJV)
Application:
A dream untouched by action remains a mere fantasy. Consider Joseph—faithful in Potiphar’s house, trustworthy in prison, and ultimately elevated to Pharaoh’s court. His journey wasn’t passive; it was paved with faith in motion. Faith doesn’t just hope—it acts. It serves. It builds. It moves forward, even in the unseen.
Lesson:
Your dream requires your participation. Don’t delay until everything feels “just right.” Begin with what’s in your hands today. Take that first courageous step. God responds to movement—He meets you in your obedience and fuels your forward motion.
Devotional Thought:
“Someday” is a thief of destiny. Today is your divine appointment. Write that first sentence. Send that email. Enroll in that course. Make that call. Plant that seed. Faith isn’t found in stillness—it thrives in persistent, purposeful action. Your dream won’t chase you; you must walk toward it with faith as your compass.
Closing Prayer:
Lord, I choose to move today. I reject the paralysis of waiting for perfect timing or perfect conditions. With bold obedience, I activate the vision You’ve placed in my heart. Breathe life into my efforts, guide my steps, and multiply what I offer in faith. I trust You for the outcome. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
