15 Days Devotion – Allowing Yourself to Dream | Day 10: Honor the Season of Waiting
Reference Verse:
“For the vision is yet for an appointed time… Though it tarries, wait for it.” (Habakkuk 2:3)
Lesson:
God’s timing is perfect—even when it feels slow. Dreams often require seasons of waiting: Joseph endured 13 years in slavery and prison; Abraham waited 25 years for Isaac; Moses spent 40 years in the wilderness. These delays were not denials but divine preparation. In your waiting, God is shaping your character, deepening your wisdom, and strengthening your faith. Resist weariness. Stay steadfast. He is working behind the scenes to align every detail for your breakthrough.
Application:
Journal: How is this season preparing you for your dream?
Pray:
“God, what are You teaching me while I wait?”
Stay Faithful: Serve wholeheartedly where you are today (Colossians 3:23).
Prayer:
Father, teach me to trust Your timing. Help me grow while I wait. I surrender my frustration and choose patience. Amen.
