14-Day Devotional: "God Is Happy When You Prosper | Day 1: Choose to Believe in God’s Desire for Your Prosperity
Scripture : Psalm 35:27 (KJV) – "Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant."
Devotion : God is not indifferent about your prosperity—He delights in it! The Hebrew word "ratzah" means He takes pleasure, enjoys, and desires your success. Yet, many believers hesitate, asking, "Does God really want me to prosper?" The answer is a resounding YES!
Write this down : Your faith is not passive; it is an active choice. Just as you chose salvation, you must choose to believe God for prosperity. The enemy will present obstacles—empty bank accounts, rising debts, or delayed breakthroughs—but your choice to believe God’s Word over circumstances determines your victory.
Action :
- Declare: "God delights in my prosperity!"
- Refuse to let doubt dilute your faith.
- Meditate on 3 John 1:2 – God desires your total well-being.
Prayer: Father, I reject every lie that says You don’t want me to prosper. I choose to believe Your Word. Magnify Your name in my life as I walk in abundance!
