15 Days Devotion - Giving Yourself Permission to Dream
Day 1: Dare to Dream Again
Reference Verse: “And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more.” — Genesis 37:5 (KJV)
Application:
● God still speaks through dreams—divine instructions, visions, and assignments that reveal your future. But many believers have stopped dreaming due to past failures, mockery, or fear. Joseph dared to dream—even when it cost him everything. His story is a bold call to awaken the dream buried beneath disappointment and delays.
Lesson:
● you dream God’s dream, expect opposition. But never let the hatred of men cancel the vision of God. Joseph’s brothers rejected his dream, but they could not stop its fulfillment. God’s purpose prevailed because Joseph never stopped believing.
Devotional Thought:
● Child of God, it’s time to resurrect the dreams you once buried under discouragement. God never forgot what He showed you in the night seasons. That dream is not dead—it’s dormant, waiting for you to believe again. Don’t wait for approval to pursue what Heaven has ordained. Dreaming again is not pride—it’s obedience.
Closing Prayer:
● Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank You for every dream You’ve placed in my spirit. Forgive me for doubting, delaying, or dismissing them. Today, I choose to dream again. I declare resurrection over every divine vision I once abandoned. Strengthen my faith and silence every voice of fear. I receive boldness to dream again. Amen.
