The "7" I Am' Statements Of Jesus in John | SAT 15-02-2025 | I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE

● “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6).

Understanding "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life

● When Jesus spoke to His disciples, they were a bit confused about what He meant when talking about heaven. One of them, Thomas, asked Jesus, "Lord, we don't know where you are going. How can we know the way?" Jesus answered him saying, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to God the Father except through me."

Why Is It Important

● In Jesus's time, many people tried to please God by following lots of rules and doing good things. They thought this would earn them a place in heaven. But Jesus explains that it's not about how many good deeds we do or how perfectly we follow the rules. Instead, it's about believing in Him and trusting Him as the way to God.

● Even today, there are many ideas and beliefs about how to reach God or live forever. Some people think they can do it on their own by being really good or following other religions. But Jesus tells us that He is the only way that truly connects us to God.

What Does This Mean?

1. The Way : Imagine you want to go to a new and unknown place. You need the right path or map to get there. The same way, Jesus is like the guide or the map that shows us how to reach God.

2. The Truth : Sometimes, we hear many different things about God and how to live a good life. Jesus offers the real and honest truth about God. If we want to know what God is like and what He wants from us, we should listen to Jesus.

3. The Life : Jesus gives us a special kind of life called eternal life. It's not just about living every day; it's about having a relationship with God that lasts forever. When we accept Jesus, we receive this special life.

● So, when Jesus says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life," He is inviting us to follow Him and trust Him to lead us to God. It's like having the best guide who knows exactly how to get us where we need to go! SO, go ahead and Praise Him !
