The supernatural is the doing of the Lord.

 

● Psalms 118:23  This is the LORD'S doing; it is marvellous in our eyes. 

 

Whatever the Lord does is marvelous, 

- Marvellous means wonderful, provoking admiration.

● In this season you will provoke admiration in Jesus name. People will admire the doing of the Lord and manifestation of the power of the Lord in your life.

● It takes your eyes to see what is marvelous. Something can be marvelous but some eyes fail to see it. It is about the spiritual eyes to see the doing of the Lord. 

● The supernatural answers to some protocols. It does not just happen. It comes with specific instructions. 

● God answers through instructions. Most of the time, God's answer doe not come the way we expect. He has answered but you are not aware he has answered

- The supernatural is inside the instruction 

CASE 1 | MOSES

● Exodus 14:16  But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea. 

● The supernatural is the extraordinary acts of God happening as a result natural act of obedience of men

- It means that something must be done in the natural for the miracle to happen in the supernatural

- If you do nothing in the natural, don't expect the supernatural

● Don't wait for the supernatural to happen, be sensitive to the instruction from God

● The children of Israel cried to God when they were in front of the Red sea and God gave them an instruction. Moses was asked to stretch out his hand over the red sea. 

● Do what God has asked you to do and God will do his part.

Moses asked, God gave an instruction, Moses complied and God confirmed.

CASE 2 | JOSHUA

● Joshua 3:13  And it shall come to pass, as soon as the soles of the feet of the priests that bear the ark of the LORD, the Lord of all the earth, shall rest in the waters of Jordan, that the waters of Jordan shall be cut off from the waters that come down from above; and they shall stand upon an heap. 

● Joshua 3:14  And it came to pass, when the people removed from their tents, to pass over Jordan, and the priests bearing the ark of the covenant before the people; 

 

● The instruction was to put their feet in the water and as soon as their feet were in the water, the river Jordan opened

● Joshua 6:1  Now Jericho was straitly shut up because of the children of Israel: none went out, and none came in. 

● Joshua 6:2  And the LORD said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valour. 

I don't know which Jericho is ahead of you, I want you to open your hands, see that Jericho in your hand and start thanking God for it.

Instruction

● Open your hands and receive your Jericho. Whatever you are praying for, God has handed. You have to see, you have to believe. 

● Joshua 6:3  And ye shall compass the city, all ye men of war, and go round about the city once. Thus shalt thou do six days.

● Joshua 6:15  And it came to pass on the seventh day, that they rose early about the dawning of the day, and compassed the city after the same manner seven times: only on that day they compassed the city seven times. 

● Sometimes when you are obeying the instruction given, it can look like you are crazy.

● Sometimes your life can look like it is going in circle. Go ahead and continue with the instruction even if it looks like you are going in circle if you know it is an instruction from God. 

● Sometimes people can look at it as a pure routine, do it as an act of obedience because what you do is where your miracle is

● Joshua 6:16  And it came to pass at the seventh time, when the priests blew with the trumpets, Joshua said unto the people, Shout; for the LORD hath given you the city. 

● God told then in the beginning, I have handed over to you Jericho but you have to match around it.

*What are the steps you are taking?

- Take responsibility for your miracle.

- Take responsibility for the fulfilment of your prophesy of God in your life. Don't just wait for the miracle, 

- Take responsibility otherwise you will end up as a liability

  

● Take some steps of faith, follow the instruction

Joshua shouted, SHOUT!

● As a Church, we are starting a 21 days shout of praise according to Joshua 6:16 to possess our Jericho.

● Give the Lord a shout of praise because he has already blessed you, he has already opened doors for you.

● Joshua 6:20  So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city. 

● Any wall standing your way will collapse in Jesus name. You will capture your city. This is the season to capture the land. Receive the grace to capture what the Lord has given to you. 

● Give him paise, give him glory because it is done in the name of Jesus Christ the son of the living God.

Don't complain, don't murmur and see the city conquered. Receive new strength to take responsibility.
