KINGDOM BIBLE STUDY | PROVOKING THE SUPERNATURAL PART 4 | THURSDAY 27TH JULY 2023

KINGDOM BIBLE STUDY | PROVOKING THE SUPERNATURAL PART 4 | THURSDAY 27TH JULY 2023

CHAPTER 1 | WHAT IS OBEDIENCE?

● Obedience is not talking. Obedience is not saying. Obedience is DOING, APPLYING, PUTTING TO WORK, ACTING ON the will of the King.

● Matthew 7:21 "Not EVERY ONE THAT SAID to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but HE THAT DOES the will of my Father which is in heaven.

● When you obey, you no longer belong to the category of EVERYONE.

● Obedience is choosing willingly to lift the Will of the King above your own will and to willingly submit to it

● Matthew 26:42 He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, YOUR WILL be done.

Take note friends that God blesses willingness

God rewards willingness

● 1 Corinthians 9:17 KJV For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation of the gospel is committed unto me.

● Obedience is wisdom. Obedient are wise. Disobedience is foolishness. Disobedient are foolish.

● Matthew 7:24 Therefore whoever HEARS these sayings of mine, and DOES them, I will liken him to a WISE MAN, which built his house on a rock:

Do you know what wisdom is all about?

It is about knowing that what God requires from me is for my benefit, for my good. That's wisdom.

CHAPTER 2 | WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF OBEDIENCE?

BENEFIT 1 | Obedience is the gateway to blessing.

● Deuteronomy 11:26 Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse:

● Deuteronomy 11:27 A BLESSING, IF YOU OBEY the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day:

● Deuteronomy 11:28 And A CURSE, IF YOU WILL NOT OBEY the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which you have not known.

● When you choose to obey, you choose to be blessed. When you choose to disobey, you choose to be cursed. Period.

● Hear me and hear me well... You cannot obey God and be cursed. Impossible.

BENEFIT 2 | Obedience commits God to performs wonders in your life.

● You know? God is the covenant keeping God.

● As the covenant keeping God, God works only when you take his word and put it to work. That's what obedience is all about.

● In other words, God confirms what He says when you act on what God says.

● In the whole Bible, there's nowhere you will see the supernatural act of God without the natural act of men's obedience to divine instructions.

CHAPTER 3 | BIBLICAL CASES:

Case 1: Moses and the Red Sea ( Ex 14:16, 21)

● The natural act of Moses' obedience caused God to perform the supernatural act of opening the Red Sea.

● Moses was not the one to part the Red Sea. His responsibility was to stretch his hand for God to do the rest.

● Do what is natural and God will perform the supernatural.

Case 2: Naaman ( 2 Kings 5:10-11)

● Your natural act of obedience will cause the supernatural act of God.

● Do what God tells you to do and God will do what He says He will do.

● As long as Naaman did not put the Word of the prophet to work, he did not get well, he did not experience the supernatural

● When he complied with the instruction. When he applied the instruction, he got healed. He experienced the supernatural.

● Friend, If you're not seeing the supernatural act of God it is probably because you are not doing the natural you are supposed to do.

Case 3: Simon Peter ( Luke 5:4-6)

● We have toiled the whole night and got nothing, but at your Word, I will let my net

● Peter acted in the natural on God's word and he experienced the supernatural act of God.

Case 4: The withered hand ( Mat 12:13)

● Matthew 12:13 KJV

Then saith he to the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And HE STRETCHED IT FORTH; AND IT WAS RESTORED whole, like as the other.

Case 5: The wedding of Cana ( John 2:5)

● John 2:5 KJV His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.

● John 2:8 KJV And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it.

● God will never do if you never do.

CHAPTER 4 | GOD IS THE GOD OF VENGEANCE

● In Psalm 94:1 KJV, we read ... O Lord God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew thyself.

● We serve the God of vengeance, who said himself : “Vengeance is mine and I will revenge” (Romans 12:19)

● We do not pray for our enemies to die. We pray for them to live and witness our blessings.

● However, for every case where the enemy had unjustly accused you, falsely expropriated you, wickedly misrepresented, ashamed or  humiliated you, it is your right to cry to the God of Vengeance to answer on your behalf for your restoration and your restitution.

● In Luke 18:7,  Jesus says, “God shall avenge His own elect, who cry day and night unto Him… He will avenge them speedily”

●What Jesus is saying is this ... If you cry to God to avenge you, he will avenge you speedily.

CHAPTER 5 | HOW DOES GOD AVENGE US THROUGH OBEDIENCE?

Obedient is to be wise. Disobedience is to be foolish

● Matthew 7:24 …. Therefore, WHOEVER HEARS these sayings of mine, and DOES them, I will liken him to a WISE man, which built his house on a rock.

● Mat 7:25  And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

From this text, we can notice that obedience shields the house, protects the house,

● IF YOU OBEY, GOD PROMISES TO AVENGE YOU FROM YOUR ENEMIES.

Let us read …

● Exodus 23:22 says, "If you shall indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; THEN I will be an enemy to your enemies, and an adversary to your adversaries.

● THEN in this text means as a matter of fact, as a consequence of your obedience, after your obedience, next to your obedience,

● Which means in other words, if you are disobedient, anytime you will face battles, you will be on your own. GOD FORBIDS.

● Somebody may ask … Is divine vengeance scripturally correct? Yes. Let us look at it from Scriptures

1- He promises to be the enemy of your enemy and the adversary of your adversaries

● Exo 23:22 says, "If you shall indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy to your enemies, and an adversary to your adversaries.

2- He promises to make your battles his

● Exo 14:14 says, "The LORD shall fight for you, and you shall hold your peace."

3- He promises that he who touches you touches the apples of his eyes.

● Zech 2:8 says, "For thus said the LORD of hosts ... he that touches you touches the apple of his eye".

4- He promises that those who afflict you Him himself will afflict them

● 2 Th 1:6 says, "Certainly, it is right for God to give suffering to those who cause you to suffer.

5- He promises that those who curse you Him himself will curse them

● Gen 12:3 says, "I will bless them that bless you, and curse him that curses you: and in you shall all families of the earth be blessed".

6- He promises that those who persecute you Him himself will curse them

● Deut 30:7 says, "The LORD your God will put all these curses on your enemies, and on them that hate you, which persecuted you."

7- He promises that those who hate you Him himself will plague them

● Ps 89:23 says, "I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague them that hate him".

ESTHER’S CASE

● In Esther 3 : 10 and Esther 7 : 6, Haman was clearly identified as the enemy of the Jews. The adversary. The wicked.

● In the same chapter 3, Haman wrote and signed a decree for the complete extermination of all the Jews.

● Because of him, the Bible says in Esther 3:15 that all the Jews were perplexed.

● In Esther 4:3 the Bible says that there was mourning, weeping and wailing and many lay in sackloth and ashes because of him.

● What did Mordecai tell Esther? Don't keep quiet. Don't shut your mouth. Otherwise you will die.

● Est 4:14  For if you are completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance shall arise to the Jews from another place, but you and your father's house shall be destroyed. And who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for a time like this?

What did Esther do?

● SHE OBEYED and she engaged 3 days of fasting and prayer with all the Jews against Haman. On the third day, she took the risk to break the king's protocol in order to overturn the evil decree of Haman.

CHAPTER 5 | DIVINE VENGEANCE ANSWERS TO OBEDIENCE

● After the 3 days fast spent in obedience, the God of vengeance stepped in …

● I declare and I decree that will be also your experience in the Name Of Jesus Christ!

LET US SEE HOW A SINGLE ACT OF OBEDIENCE OF ESTHER CAUSED THE GOD OF VENGEANCE TO STEP IN.

1-THERE WAS REPLACEMENT AND SUBSTITUTION.

● There was replacement. The power changed hand and there was promotion. Mordecai replaced Haman and was promoted as prime minister in the kingdom. (Esther 8:15)

● Esther 8:15 And Mordecai went out from the presence of the king in royal apparel of blue and white, and with a great crown of gold, and with a garment of fine linen and purple: and the city of Shushan rejoiced and was glad.

● There was substitution. Haman was hanged on the same gallow he prepared to hand Mordecai (Esther 7:10)

Esther 7:10 So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then was the king’s wrath pacified.

● The enemies of Shadrac, Meschac and Abednego who sent them on the fire were burned on their own furnace.

● The enemies of Daniel who caused Daniel to be thrown in the den of lion were eaten by their own lion.

● As you obey what God tells you to do, every Haman who plots secretly evil against you ... His evil will return upon himself and his family sevenfold in the Name Of Jesus Christ.

2-THERE WAS REMEMBRANCE.

● Mordecai was remembered after being forgotten for 5 years (Esther 3:1/Esther 6:1). As a matter of fact, Mordecai was promoted as prime minister in the Kingdom.

● The Bible says in *Esther 8:2 *The king took off his ring, which he had taken from Haman, and gave it unto Mordecai. And Esther set Mordecai over the house of Haman.

● In Esther 8:15,.Mordecai went out from the presence of the king in royal apparel of blue and white, and with a great crown of gold, and with a garment of fine linen and purple: and the city of Shushan rejoiced and was glad.

3-THERE WAS RESTORATION

● Mourning turned into dancing for the Jews and dancing turned into mourning for the enemies of the Jews

● Esther 8:16 The Jews had light, and gladness, and joy, and honor.

● This season is your season of dancing. Season of joy for you. Season of rejoicing.

● The God of vengeance is stepping in your situation. Those who wanted and plotted and expected you to shed tears of sorrow will be disappointed because they will be the one to sorrow and shed tear not you.
