KINGDOM BIBLE STUDY | STOP BLAMING OTHERS | THURSDAY 08-06-2023

KINGDOM BIBLE STUDY | STOP BLAMING OTHERS | THURSDAY 08-06-2023

CHAPTER ONE | INTRODUCTION

●  This week we have been focusing on the story in John 5. We have learned several things about what happens when one is under the spirit of delay.

●  He was in the pool of Bethesda which means the 'House of grace.

When Jesus met this man at the pool of Bethesda, He asked him a question.

●  I believe that this question is very fundamental as we continue our study. The question was, "Do you want to be healed?"

●  He was not asking him if he CAN be healed. He was asking him if he WANTS to be healed.

●  What does this question mean? It means that your situation is not fate. If you want, you can get out of it.

●  Do you want to be happy? Do you want to be joyful? Do you want to speed up things in your life? Jesus wanted to give this man speed in his life and the question here is, 'Do you want?'

●  Do you want to be rich? Do you want to reach out to people? Do you want a change in your life?

●  When you read this question, humanly speaking it looks weird because you cannot ask someone who is sick if they want to get healed.

●  I was wondering, "How can you ask someone who is sick if they want to get healed? How?"

●  I could hear the Lord telling me, "My son, do not assume anything because there are people who are comfortable remaining where they are."

●  People are comfortable remaining beggars, depending on others for help, being hurt, living in poverty, struggling, living in misery and stress. They want to remain there.

●  Remember, LIFE IS A CHOICE.

●  Do you think that everyone wants to go to heaven? No! not everyone wants to go to heaven. God wants everyone to go to heaven but there are people who have made a choice not to go to heaven.

●  Someone once told me, "Don't come to me with the things of the gospel because I already have my bedroom in hell. The number of my room is 666." The person was saying this very casually.

●  Listen to me, Friend, our lifetime on the earth is limited. Don't lose sight that our life on earth is limited.

●  The bible says in Rev 12:12 that the devil came to earth knowing that he has but a short time. The Bible also says, Redeem time because the days are evil. We don't have forever here on earth.

●  I am wondering if you are living a life of delay, will you at all live the life you were born to live?

●   I want to draw your attention that you must come to a place where you refuse anything that will cause a delay in your life because we don't have any other life on this earth.

●  We don't have time to waste on the earth. Do not allow anyone under heaven to come and waste your time.

QUESTION: DO YOU WANT TO BE HEALED?

●  Jesus was asking this man a question, but the man was not answering the question, instead, he was telling all manner of stories.

CHAPTER TWO | WHAT IT TAKES TO STOP BLAMING OTHERS:

1 | Take responsibility

●  Stop blaming others. Don't blame those that are not helping you.

●  When Jesus asked this man, "Do you want to be healed?" it means that you have what it takes to change your life.

●  You have what it takes to move from the dust to the throne of honor.

●  You have what it takes to break delay/to be successful in life. It is in you.  STOP BLAMING OTHERS. TAKE RESPONSIBILITY.

●   You don't need people to help you. God knows that you need people in your life, but do not put it in your mind. Get out of it.

●  I came to understand why this man was delayed. It was because he was expecting help from others.

2 | Do not blame others

●  He told Jesus, "When I am about to enter the pool, someone else comes  before me." He was blaming others for his delay.

●  Remember that nobody can be a hindrance to your progress. The hindrance that stops you from becoming what you were born to become is not from the outside, but it is inside of you.

3 | Stop blaming yourself.

CHAPTER THREE | FOUR VITAL FORCES TO STOP BLAMING OTHERS:

FORCE 1 | FORCE OF YOUR WILL

●  Your will is power. Jesus is asking, "Do you want to be healed?"

●  If you really WANT, you CAN.

●  Many people suffer delays not only do they want but also because they do not know what they want.

●  Someone said, "If you really want, you will find a way. If you don't want, you will find excuses."

●  We have many people in life who do not find a way, but they only give excuses.

●  I never give excuses as a weapon to justify anything.

May you be free from excuses in Jesus mighty Name.

●  This man in John 5 was there paralyzed. He was not only physically paralyzed but also his will was paralyzed. Jesus asked him, "What do you want?"

●  If God asks you a question today, "What do you want?" What will you answer?

●  Moses was sent to Pharaoh and he kept on giving excuses that Pharaoh was a difficult man. God told him to go and He will give him a word to talk to Pharaoh. At the end of the day, Pharaoh bowed.

●  The question here is, "What do you want?" Stop giving excuses.

FORCE 2 | FORCE OF YOUR PERSPECTIVE

●  Your perspective is how you see things.

●  Your perspective is power.

●  When Jesus asked the man if he wants to be healed, He simply meant that you have what it takes to be healed.

●  You can stand out from the crowd. You can stand out from the multitudes. You can stand out from the common people.

●  If you want to stand out from the common people, you must stop thinking like the common people.

●  If you want to get out of poverty, you must change your mindset. You must stop thinking like poor people.

●  Many people suffer delays because their perspective has never changed.

●  Israel never entered the promised land because they were thinking the Egypt way.  They were looking at themselves as grasshoppers and God cannot give promised land to grasshoppers.

HOW DO YOU SEE YOURSELF?

FORCE 3 | FORCE OF YOUR DECISION

●  Your decision is power. There is no way you can break delay in your life if you don't decide to.

LIFE EXAMPLE:

●  To be punctual in any activity, it must start with a decision. You cannot be on time for a meeting if you don't decide to.

FORCE 4 | FORCE OF YOUR CHOICE:

●  Choice is a force. (Deut 30:19)

●  God will not choose for you. You have to choose for yourself.

●  Your life is your choice and your choice is your life.

●  You can choose to remain in the congregation/community of borrowers or remain as a doormat to your husband.

●  You can choose to be a carpet of the mockers.

●  You can choose how you dress or how you make your house.

●  You can choose to remain crushed.

●  If someone does not support you, you can always say it doesn't matter because you have a God in heaven.

●  You can choose to be happy or among those who cry.

IT IS YOUR CHOICE.

●  I made a choice that nobody can torment/stress my life no matter who they are. I will not allow your choice to torment my choice.

●  I am the happiest man because I never allow the attitude of others to torment the peace of my soul.

CHAPTER FOUR | CONCLUSION:

QUESTION:  What is your choice this morning?

● Jesus asked the man in John 5, "Do you want to be healed?" And I am asking you a question, "Do you want to get out of the place where you are?"

- Do you want to break delay in your life and accelerate your life?

- Do you want things to change in your life?

- Do you want things to be colorful and beautiful?

●  I am commanding someone, in the name of Jesus Christ, to get out of the crowd. You have what it takes.

●  Stop talking/behaving like the crowd. You have what it takes.

●  Jesus came to this man alone and he was the only one who got healed that day.

●  Friends, YOU ARE UNIQUE.

●  There were many people in the crowd, but Jesus came to only him. There were other people who got healed too, but they followed the protocol. But for this man, his case was different.

●  Jesus is asking you today, "Do you want?" He is asking you because you have all that it takes to get what you want.

●  Do not compare your case with other people. You are unique and your case is different.

CHAPTER FIVE | PRAYER AND DECLARATIONS:

●  LORD, this day my life shall never be the same.

●  I will stop thinking like the crowd because I am different. I am unique.

●  I am getting out of the crowd and standing out. I am standing out where other people are stumbling, I am standing out where everyone else practices immorality, and I am standing out where everyone is struggling.

USE YOUR WILL, PERSPECTIVE, DECISION, AND CHOICE TO CHANGE YOUR LIFE.
