INTRODUCTION

● I believe in God that the will of God for you and I is to be an ancestor of generational blessings. 

● We have talked so much about generational curses but I believe that it's time for us to come to a place where we talk about generational blessings more than we talk about generational curses. 

● I pray that your life on the earth will not be wasted. 

● I pray that you will not be an ancestor of generational curses. 

● If at all you have inherited curses, Jesus died on the cross for you to be the blessing of God. He was made a curse for you to be blessed.  (Galatians 3:13)

● You can give your life to Christ today and receive him genuinely in your heart for you to be a partaker of the blessing of the cross that Jesus has made available by his death. 

CHAPTER 1 | BLESSED BY CHOICE

● To be an ancestor of generational blessings you need to make a choice because curses or blessings are provoked by men's choice.

● In  Deuteronomy 30:19, God says, 

I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both you and your seed may live:

● When God says choose life he means choose blessings. You choose to be blessed or cursed. There is no one to be blamed.

● Blessed By Choice Means: You can decide whether to be blessed or to be cursed.

● Blessed By Choice Means:  Blessings and curses are not imposed to you. 

● Blessed by choice means: You take personal responsibility to be blessed or cursed. 

CHAPTER 1 : CHOICES TO MAKE TO BE AN ANCESTOR OF GENERATIONAL BLESSINGS

● I believe in God you will make these choices everyday 

CHOICE 1 : THE CHOICE OF OBEDIENCE

● Deuteronomy 11:26 Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse:

● Deuteronomy 11:27 A blessing, if you obey  the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day:

● Deuteronomy 11:28 And a curse, if you will not obey the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which you have not known.

● Disobedience or obedience is a choice.The heaven and the earth will act as per your choice. ( Deuteronomy 30:19)

● Obedience is to do the will of the king. 

● Matthew 7:21  Not every one that said to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of my Father which is in heaven.

● You will not enter the kingdom being disobedient.

● Obedience is the choice you make  to place the Will of the King above your own will and before your will.

● Matthew 26:42 He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it,  your will be done.

● Seek ye first the Kingdom (Matthew 6:33)

● Obedience is the choice of wisdom. It is the choice of the wise. Obedient are wise. Disobedience is foolishness. 

● Matthew 7:24 Therefore whoever hears these sayings of mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man, which built his house on a rock:

● Obedience is the gateway to  the blessing. Disobedience is the gateway to curses.

● Deuteronomy 11:27 If ye obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which  I command you this day: 

● Whej you choose to obey it's for your own advantage not at the advantage of God or the Pastor. Disobedience is to your own disadvantage.

For example on the issue of tithing. The benefits of tithing are not directed to God but to you

● Malachi 3:10  Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if Iw ill not open you the windows of heaven,  and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. 

Benefit 1. God will open to you the windows of heaven. 

Benefit 2. God will pour out to you the blessing. 

● Malachi 3:11  I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast its fruit before its time in the field," says Yahweh of Armies.

Benefit 3. There shall not be room enough for I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes.

Benefit 4. The devourer shall not destroy the fruits of your ground. 

Benefit 5. Neither shall your vine cast its fruit before its time in the field. 

●  Malachi 3:12  "All nations shall call you blessed, for you will be a delightful land," says Yahweh of Armies.

Benefit 6. All nations shall call you blessed.

Benefit 7. You will be a delightful land. 

● You see? All those blessings are not for the Church. But for you if you choose to obey.

● Which means in the other hand, if you choose to disobey, you choose to be cursed.

● Malachi 3:8 says ... Will a man rob God? Yet you rob me! But you say, ‘How have we robbed you?’ In tithes and offerings.

● Malachi 3:9 You are cursed with the curse; for you rob me, even this whole

● Why are you cursed? Because you are robbing God. Because you are disobeying.

Receive the grace to choose to be obedient.

CHOICE 2 : THE CHOICE TO LOVE GOD

● If you want to be an ancestor of generational blessings you need to love God. 

● Deuteronomy 30:16 In that I command you this day to love the LORD your God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that you may live and multiply: and the LORD your God shall bless you in the land where you go to possess it.

Benefit 1 : God says ... Love your God ... and the Lord your God shall bless you in the land where you go!!!

Benefit  2 : There is no way you can curse a lover of God. 

Benefit 3 : You cannot love God and suffer the consequences of generational curses. Impossible.

Benefit  4 : Loving God entitles you to not only blessings but also generational blessings. Hallelujah !

● Deuteronomy 7:9 Know therefore that the LORD your God, he is God, the faithful God, which keeps covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;

Benefit 5 : If you love God you will secure blessing to 1000 generations after you. 

Benefit 6 : Your love for God is the cure to generational curses and the gateway to generational blessings.

● Dear parent, I pray that your legacy to the next generation will be a legacy of the love for God.

*HOW DO I KNOW THAT I LOVE GOD?

1- If you love God, you will find time for God

● Daniel 6:10 Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled on his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.

● You can't love God and not have time for God. If you have time for social media it's because you love those things.

2- If you love God, you will love what he loves and hate what he hates.

● Psalms 119:163 I hate and abhor lying: but your law do I love.

● Psalms 119:164  Seven times a day do I praise you because of your righteous judgments.

● Psalms 119:165  Great peace have they which love your law: and nothing shall offend them.

● If you don't have peace in your life check your love level. If you love God he will give you great peace.

3- If you love God, you will love others.

● 1 John 4:20 If a man say, I love God, and hates his brother, he is a liar: for he that loves not his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?

4- If you love God, you will give to God and to others

● 1 John 3:18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.

● Love must be in deed and in truth. If you are not a giver you are not a lover.

● John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son so that whosoever believe that in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

5- If you love God, you will keep and obey his Word.

● Psalms 119:140 Your word is very pure: therefore your servant loves it.

● 1 John 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

● If you love God you will keep his commandments.

WHAT ARE THE BLESSINGS OF LOVING GOD?

Blessing 1 : When you love God, God will keep his covenant toward you until 1000 generations after you

● Deuteronomy 7:9 Know therefore that the LORD your God, he is God, the faithful God, which keeps covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;

● Receive the grace to be a lover of God. 

Blessing 2 : When you love God, you will enjoy supernatural revelation. 

● John 14:21  He that has my commandments, and keeps them, he it is that loves me: and he that loves me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

● When you love God, you will have revelation and illumination.  He will manifest to you through dreams, visions, ideas because you are a lover of God. 

Blessing 3 : When you love God, what eyes have not seen, what ears have not heard will be your portion.

● 1 Corinthians 2:9  But as it is written, Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for them that love him.

● When you love God you will a partaker of amazing things that will people will wonder, 'how?'

Blessing 4 : When you love God, God will make your life his dwelling, his residence.

● John 14:23 Jesus answered and said to him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come to him, and make our stay with him.

Receive the grace to be a lover of God.

CHOICE 3 : THE CHOICE TO SERVE GOD

● Serving God is a choice. 

●  Exodus 23:25 And you shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless your bread, and your water; and I will take sickness away from the middle of you.

● Exodus 23:26 There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in your land: the number of your days I will fulfill.

● You do not need to be a pastor, avengelist, apostle to serve God. You need a choice.

● Joshua 24:15 And if it seem evil to you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom you will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

● Nothing under heaven pays /blesses the most like serving God.

● You cannot serve God and suffer the consequences of generational curses. Impossible. 

Blessing 1 : When you serve God, You are entitled to generational blessings. Hallelujah!!!

● Your service toward God today will secure generations after you.

● 2 Chronicles 6:14 O LORD God of Israel, there is no God like you in the heaven, nor in the earth; which keep covenant, and show mercy to your servants, that walk before you with all their hearts:

● It's not enough to be a servant, it's about walking and working with all your heart. 

See all those who had generational blessings 

● Abraham is called servant of God to the extent that he is called God of Abraham ( Genesis 26:24 )

● Isaac is called servant of God* ( Genesis 24:14 )*

● Jacob is called servant of God. ( Isaiah 41:8 )

● Moses is called servant of God. ( Numbers 12:5-10 )

● Job is called servant of God. ( Job 1:8 )

● David is called servant of God. ( Psalms 89:20 )  

● Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were called servants of God. * ( Daniel 3:17, 26, Daniel 6:20 )*  

● Paul is called servant of God. ( Romans 1:1 ) 

Blessing 2 : When you serve God, God will honor you and you will never suffer the curse of shame and reproach

● John 12:26 If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honor.

● If you serve God and walk with him with all your heart, you will never suffer shame and reproach.

● I pray for anyone who serves God you will not suffer shame and reproach in Jesus Name. 

Blessing 3 : When you serve God, God will bless you with good health, prosperity, fertility, longevity. You will never suffer the curse of sickness, poverty, infertility, miscarriage, premature death etc. 

● Exodus 23:25-26 You shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall 

- Bless your bread and your water; (prosperity)

- Take sickness away from the middle of you. (good and perfect health)

- There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in your land: (fertility)

- The number of your days I will fulfill. (longevity)

● The blessing of serving God is not only for you but also for the generation to come. 

Blessing 4 : When you serve God, God will bless you with endless, unbroken flow of pleasure, joy and happiness. 

● You will never suffer the curse of stress, unhappiness, emotional breakdown and depression.

● Job 36:11 If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.

CHAPTER 3 : PROPHETIC BLESSINGS

● I believe deep down in my heart that today you will make a choice to be an ancestor of generational blessings.

● Its a choice you have to make every day. The choice of 

- Obeying God,

- Serving God,

- Loving God

● I pray and release the blessing of God over you today.

Lift your voice today and say ...

● Lord, I make a choice to obey you, serve you and love you. I make that choice today. 

I speak blessings on you who made a choice. 

Open your hands : I declare over  you ...

● You shall not beg to eat. ( Psalms 37:15 )

● You shall not be ashamed. ( Joel 2:25-26 )

● You shall not be cursed. ( Galatians 3:13 )

● You shall not be despised. ( 1 Timothy 4:12 )

● You shall not be a victim of accidents. ( Psalms 34:20 )

● You shall not be sorrowful. * ( 2 Corinthians 6:10 )*

● You shall be great. ( Genesis 12:3 )

● You shall be fruitful. ( Psalms 128:3 )

● You shall be victorious. ( 1 Corinthians 15:57 )

● You shall be celebrated. ( Genesis 49:8 )

● You shall be successful. ( Joshua 1:18 )

● You shall be favoured. ( 1 Chronicles 28:4 )

● You shall be blessed in abundance. ( John 10:10 )

● You shall be prosperous. ( 3 John 2 )

● You shall have joy unspeakable. ( 1 Peter 1:8 )

● You shall have peace beyond limits. ( Philippians 4:7 )

● You shall make it and testify. ( 1 Samuel 1:27 )

● You shall be lifted high beyond falling and shall excel in all that i do. ( 1 Corinthians 14:12 )

● You shall be called Wonderful. ( Isaiah 9:6 )

● You are healed,

I speak over you...

● You are free and delivered, forever and forever from the feeling of inferiority coming from the color of your skin, your size, your level of education, your back social plan, your financial situation, your place of residence, your tribe or country of origin, your civil status, your past life ...

I declare over you...

● The garment of reproach is removed from you. 

● You are a conqueror and more than a conqueror.

● You are a winner not a loser.

● As you go out today, go with those blessings and they will follow you all the days of your life if you make a choice to be an ancestor of generational blessings.
