 THE POWER OF THE EMPTY TOMB | WEDNESDAY 20TH APRIL 2023

● In 1 Cor 15:14, Paul says, "If Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain."

● If you remove the resurrection of Jesus from Christianity it looses it's value. 

With all respect of other religions, Christianity is the only religion that our Lord is not in the tomb. 

● The bones of Muhammad are in Medina. The bones of Confucius are in Shantung. The cremated bones of Buddha are in Nepal. 

● Thousands pay pilgrimages to worship at their tombs which contain their bones. 

● But in Jerusalem there is a cave cut into the rock. This is the tomb of Jesus. 

- The women found it empty; 

- Peter and John found it empty; 

- The angels said it was empty;  

- The Roman guards terrifyingly declared it to be empty; 

- The chief priests believed it was empty; 

- The grave clothes were evidence that it was empty; and 

- Even modern skeptics reluctantly agree—it was found empty.

Hallelujah ! Hallelujah ! Hallelujah !

What is the meaning and the application of it today?

Application 1 | THE MESSAGE BEHIND THE EMPTY TOMB IS  ... Christ is unstoppable. You too are unstoppable like Christ.

● When Jesus died, the Bible says that there was a stone used to close the tomb. As if it was not enough, his enemies sealed the stone and set a watch to keep him in the tomb, to block him, to squeeze him, to cause him remain in the tomb. But they failed. Jesus came our of the tomb. 

● Jesus is unstoppable,  the Church is unstoppable,  you are unstoppable. Whatever devices the enemy can create to stop your life it will never work. 

● The seal was legal but evil and wicked. The angel came down and broke it making it of no more effect. No more power. Illegal. 

● The watchers were legally appointed. The angel came down and disappointed them. No more authority. 

● It is impossible to talk about resurrection and stagnation at the same time. The power of resurrection breaks the power of stagnation.

Declarations 

● You will never stagnate again. No more blockage in your life. He failed with  Jesus, he will fail with you.

● The same way Jesus Christ could not remain in the grave after his resurrection, the same way, in this season, the power of resurrection is breaking stagnation in every area of your life. 

● The same way it was told about Jesus Christ, "... He is not here, he is risen...", the same way shortly people will no longer see you where they used to see you. 

● In this season, I see you moving. In this season, I see you changing level. In this season, I see the power of resurrection breaking stagnation in your life.

Application 2 | RELOCATION

● Matthew 28:6 KJV He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

● After Jesus's resurrection, the angels said to the women who were looking for him in the grave.

● "... Why seek ye the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen..." ( Luke 24: 5-6)

● You cannot rise from the dead and remain among the dead.

● In Colossians 1:13, Paul says,  God has delivered us  from the power of darkness, and  has translated us  into the kingdom of his dear Son:

● The Greek Word for translated  is  methistemi  and it means to transpose, to transfer, to remove from one place to another, to change situation or place. In short. to translate means to relocate.

●  I declare and I decree  over someone under the sound of my voice... This is your season of relocation. Say Amen if you believe so.

● Let us go to our Bibles and let us look at one case of a man who was located and who relocated in  John chapter 5 

Let us read ...

●  John 5:2  Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches.

●  John 5:3  In these lay a great multitude of weak folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water.

●  John 5:4  For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatever disease he had.

● John 5:5  And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years.

●  John 5:6  When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he said to him, Will you be made whole?

●  John 5:7 The weak man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steps down before me.

●  John 5:8  Jesus said to him, Rise, take up your bed, and walk.

●  John 5:9  And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the Sabbath.

● In my meditation today I have some questions: Why is it time for you to relocate? Why to relocate? How to relocate? When to relocate?

● This is your time of relocation. 

● I might not have enough time to answer all those questions. When I say it that God wants you to relocate it means ...

STATEMENT 1- God wants to remove you from the blacklist and move you to the book of life

● Blacklist refers to a list of people or things that are regarded as unacceptable or untrustworthy and should be excluded or avoided.

●  John 5:3  In these lay a great multitude of weak folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water.

● This man was there among the multitude but when Jesus came, he located and relocated him.

● When God locates you and relocates you, automatically, your name will be deleted from the list of blacklist!

●  I declare and I decree  over someone under the sound of my voice ... the name of your families will be removed from the names of the sick, the lame and the withered.

●  I declare and I decree you will no longer mentioned among the failure, among the borrowers, among the barren, among the poor, among the struggling, among the drunkards, among the rejected.

● I don't care in which blacklist your name has been put in any demonic or witchcraft coven,  I invoke the power of the blood of Jesus Christ to erase it right now in the Mighty Name Of Jesus Christ!

● In Isaiah 62:2  And the Gentiles shall see your righteousness, and all kings your glory: and you shall be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name.

● A wife is called after her husband's name. According to Scriptures, You are Christ's bride. By reason of the covenant of Christ the bridegroom, you are entitled to be called after his name. ( John 3:29, Matthew 9:15, Revelation 19:7, 22:17 )

●  1 John 4:17  says ... as he is, so are we in this world.

●  Because Christ  is fruitful.  Your new name  is fruitful, no more barren. 

●  Because Christ  is unstoppable.  Your new name  is breakthrough, no more stagnation. 

● Because Christ  is blessed.  Your new name  is blessed, no more curse.

STATEMENT 2 |  When God relocates you, people will look for you where they used to see you but they will no longer find you there

●  John 5:5 And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years.

● That man was there but Jesus relocated him. Jesus will locate and relocate you.

● John 5:6  When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he said to him, Will you be made whole?

● My friend, you have stayed in that place/position for long. Even God knows that you have been there for long.

● I have a good news for you. It is time for you. The time has come for you to get out of there in Jesus Name!

● This man stayed there for 38 years !!!!!!!!!!! I declare and I decree ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

● In  Deuteronomy 1:6,  God is telling you ... You have dwelled long enough in this mount: verse 7 Break camp, and get ready! Go ... 

● In the Gospel of John, Jesus sends a clear message to his enemies, telling them in John 7:34 - " You will look for me, but you will not find me; and where I am, you cannot come"

● I announce to you who are in Christ, All the demons and their agents called witches, wizards, etc will look for you or your children to harm you but they will not find you simply because where you are they cannot reach you.

Where are you now?

1. In Christ,  you are seated in heavenly places far above the devil and his agents. (  Ephesians 1:18/2:6 )

2. In Christ,  your name is written in the Lamb's book of life, No more in the book of death. No more in the book of misfortune. No more in the book of premature death. But the book of life.

●  Revelation 21:27, the Bible says ... There shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defiles, neither whatever works abomination, or makes a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

3. In Christ,  your life is hidden, meaning, kept secret. Your life is a mystery.

● In  Colossians 3:3,  Paul says ... You have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

● You know what? The Greek Word  krupto  means protected by a code. Meaning that access to your life is protected by a password known only by God. No witch, no wizard are permitted to have access to it.

● In  Daniel 5:8,  we read that the magicians in the kingdom of Babylon were not able to read the inscription written on the wall of the king's palace.

●  The Good News is this ... What the Lord is about to do for you is hidden. It is a mystery. 

● No matter the occult device they might use to decode what God is about to do for you, they will find a message access denied.

● After hearing the news that Christ was born, the Bible says in  Matthew 2:3, When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.

●  The Good News is this ... The monitors of your life will be surprised to know that you got a job. They will be chocked to hear that you have given birth. They will get a heart attack at the news of your promotion. They will be troubled to hear the news of your wedding .... Shout Hallelujah !!!

That is the message of the empty tomb. The power of the empty tomb. 

CONFESSION OF THE DAY

● Confession 1 |  I am in Christ. My life is hidden. Those who look for me and who monitor me to harm me will never find me in the Name of Jesus Christ!

● Confession 2 |  I am in Christ. I carry a New Name. My name is written in the book of life and removed from the book of death

● Confession 3 |  I am in Christ. I am seated far above the devil and his agents where I have dominion over them and they cannot harm me.

● Confession 4 |  Nomatter  what the devil did, does or do against me, there is and there will always be hope!

Therefore, I would like someone to declare boldly with me and with faith :

- No matter how long my case has taken, there is hope for me!

- No matter what the doctors have said, there is hope for me!

- No matter how deteriorated is my marriage, there is hope for me!

- No matter how empty is my bank account,  there is hope for me!

- No matter how damaged my health is, there is hope for me!

- No matter how devastated my emotions and feelings are, there is hope for me!

- No matter bad the economy of my country is, there is hope for me!

- No matter how impossible my case is, there is hope for me!

● PROPHESY ON YOURSELF WITH THE SCRIPTURES BELOW AS YOU FAST AND  PRAY TO BREAK STAGNATION IN YOUR LIFE.. 

 In the Name of Jesus Christ 

● I will never be identified with stagnation, setback and delay again. Breakthrough is my new name from henceforth.

● I will spread out to the west and to the east, to the north and to the south. ( Gen 28:14 / Isaiah 54:3 )

● My breakthrough will shock and surprise my friends and the people who know me ( Gen 38:28-29 )

● Very soon my blessing will become a glorious controversy ( John 9:19/25 )

● Those who have scorned me in the past will announce my celebration ( Gen 45:26 )

● My breakthrough shall manifest my life ( Acts 12:7)

● I will overtake ( Gen 38:29 )

● I will shine More and More

● Proverbs 4:18, is my portion, we read, "The path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day."

● I will change From Glory to Glory

2 Corinthians 3:18 KJV is my portion we read 'But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.'

● I will increase more and more

Psalm 115:14 KJV is my portion,  we read, The Lord shall increase you more and more, you and your children.

LET THE WORD OF TODAY FIND MANIFESTATION IN YOUR LIFE IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST !!!
