Luke chapter 1
1. What was the name of the priest whose wife was Elizabeth?
2. How does the Bible describe the couple? (verse 6)
3. The couple didn't have children. What was the reason?
4. What happened when priest Zachariah was on duty?
5. What was the message from the Angel?
● From tonight's meditation ( verse 1 - 14 ) we read of a couple that was advanced in years (meaning they were not young)
● Despite them not having children they were both righteous before the Lord, walking blameless in all commandments. Isn't it amazing?
● The Bible says while Priest Zachariah was on duty, (working) an angel of the Lord appeared to him.
From this text, we get one major lesson ...
● God visits us in our line of duty, when we are working/ when are serving him
● God doesn't use the idle, he uses those who are working; those who are doing something positive. But still, he can visit us to warn if we are doing wrong.
● With that in mind, we understand that if God visits those who are working for him/ doing good things it means the devil visits those who are idle.

2. Read Exodus 3:1-2 Who appeared to Moses? What was he doing before the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire?
