BIBLE READING HIGHLIGHT | EVEN THOUGH | Ezra 3:5
● Ezra 3:3-5 MSG | Even though they were afraid of what their non-Israelite neighbors might do, they went ahead anyway ...
● It continues in Ezra 3:6 MSG | “They began offering Whole-Burnt-Offerings to God from the very first day of the seventh month, even though The Temple of God’s foundation had not yet been laid.”
● LESSON
● Even though they were afraid… , the people still wholeheartedly and publicly worshipped God, even though they were afraid!
● Even though… life was not perfect…the people worshiped God.
● Even though …there was unfinished business and the temple was not rebuilt.
● Even though …they were still waiting to see the breakthrough of God’s provision, there was a lack of resources… none of these things stopped God’s people from serving God right there.
● If I may ask you what's stopping you to reach your goal? to serve the Lord,? to attend church? What will you say? Maybe I'm tired. I don't have money. I don't have time. I'm too busy. Lockdown.
● None of the above is true. The truth is … What is stopping you is not outside you. What is stopping you is you...
● CAN YOU SAY ... Even though I’m tired, Even though the future is uncertain, Even though I still wait upon the Lord to answer my prayer, Even though things are not yet the way I am expecting them to be ...
● Yet ... I will trust God. I will thank God out loud. I will trust God. I will live my dream ...
● Today, the question is ... What are the excuses you are using to not do what God has called you to do?
