● Have you noticed that today is the 200th day of our reading journey ?

● I trust and I believe that you are consistent in your daily reading.

● Well ... We are in the book of Ezra.

● We read ... Ezra 2:62 ERV

● These people searched for their family histories, but they could not find them. Their names were not included in the list of priests. They could not prove that their ancestors were priests, so they could not serve as priests.

● The qualifying for one to serve as priest in the Old Testament was to find their name in the genealogy register so to prove that their ancestors were priests.

● Once the name was not found, they were excluded from the priesthood.

● In heaven, there's a book called the book of life.

● In this book are written the names of those who are saved. Not those who go to church. Not those who sing in the choir. Not those who are pastors. 

● Anyone whose name won't be found in will be cast out into the lake of fire.

● Revelation 20:15 ERV

And anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.

● Today, the question is not whether you go to church or not, or you give your title or not, or you are a choir member or not, or you are a pastor or not.

● The question is ... Is your name recorded in the book of life?

● If yes, you are safe.

● If no, register yourself in the book of life by giving your life to Christ today before it is late.
