*LOVE IS PATIENT*
Love is not true without patience because true love is patient. That's what Paul says in *1 Corinthians 13:4*, " *Love is patient*".
Do you really love your wife, your husband, your children, your church...? God says to you today, *Be Patient because love is patient*. Does it mean to be naive? No. Does it mean to fold hands and wait for things to change by themselves? No. What does it mean?
*WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE PATIENT?*
*Patient love is like the damper of a car*. It is like a shock absorber. It helps us absorb frustration. It helps us endure harm, pain or annoyance without complaining or getting angry. It helps us be proactive not reactive. It helps us keep the right attitude, be expectant and hopeful for the best when everything around us seems not to go the way we were expecting them to go.
In Luke 13:6-9, the husbandman wanted to cut off the fruitless tree. But his workers came to inquire more time for more work expecting things to be better in future. That is to be patient. *It is to give yourself more time to work things out by the help of God expecting better result in future*.
*PRAYER POINTS FOR PATIENT LOVE*
1. You get easily frustrated and offended,
2. You easily wish others evil when impatient toward them,
3. You lose temper when things don’t go the way you expected,
4. You want things to be better but are not willing to work things out,
PRAY AND CRY TO THE LORD FOR HIS MERCY
