100 TRUTHS THAT HELPED ME RESCUE MY MARRIAGE (PART 1)

I'm excited to share with you 100 scriptural truths that helped me save my marriage which I believe will help you if you are interested. As we pray today for our marriages, you can reflect on them and find others applicable for your own marriage

1/ My spouse is not my enemy. My enemy is the devil. I will not fight my spouse. I will fight the devil . (Ephesians 6:12)

2/ Between breaking my family or breaking my ego, I choose to break my ego for my family to be whole. (Galatians 2:20)

4/ My marriage is a covenant, not a contract. I have vowed. I will keep my word no matter the circumstances and no matter the cost (Psalm 89:34)

3/ I have no power to change my spouse. I have only power to allow God to change me. (2 Corinthians 3:18/Revelation 3:20)

5/ No one is crushed when he is above. I choose to always rise above and never allow anything to crush me (Luke 10:19)

10/ We are one but not identical. Without breaking our oneness, my wife has a right to have a space to be herself, to be different and to think differently than me since she is not me and I am not her. (! Corinthians 12:12)

6/ It is my responsibility to be joyful and happy, not my spouse's (Philippians 4:4)

7/ There is no other better legacy to hand down to my children than an harmonious and godly family (2 Timothy 1:5)

8/ My marriage will not work by itself. I have to work to make it work (John 5:17)

9/ To be a pastor will not make me be a good husband or a good father but a good understanding of what it takes to be one.(Proverbs 13:15)

1. Faith broke the walls of Jericho (Heb 11:30) Pray ... Lord, break every invisible barrier against my marriage 2. Marriage s a blessing and blessing has no sorrow. (Prov 10:22) Pray ... Lord, I'm blessed in Christ. Anything bringing sorrow to my marriage or preventing me from being blessed with marriage, destroy it. 3. God says, "Marriage is honorable" ()Heb 13:4) Pray ... Lord, any evil power assigned to disgrace me sexually and prevent me from being honorably married, I rebuke it. I decree! This year the world shall gather to celebrate my marriage 4. God says "Marriage is a good thing" (Gen 2:18) Pray ... Lord, every verdict that says I will never be happy in marriage, I deprogram, and silence it now. It shall be good as you said. 5. God says "A divided house will not stand"(Luk 11:17) Pray ... Lord, uproot anything in my heart and character (pride, bitterness, suspicion, ....) working against the harmony of my family ✍ Pst TD
