*TUESDAY 25.12.2018* *DAY 16* *CHRISTMAS IS THE CELEBRATION OF THE INCARNATION OF GOD*

*What are we celebrating today ?*

Let it be clear to all that Christmas is not Jesus' birthday. No. *Christmas is the celebration of the incarnation of God*.

*WHAT IS INCARNATION?*

It is simply God becoming flesh. It is God taking the human flesh. It is God putting on the human body. It is God becoming an human being. It is God becoming like us to make us like him.

It is written in *John 1:14* "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us ...

*WHY INCARNATION?*

*REASON 1* | By taking human flesh, Jesus Christ took all my infirmities, my diseases and my ailments to give me perfect health.
*MATTHEW 8:17* "Himself took our infirmities, and bare [our] sicknesses."
*REASON 2* | By taking human flesh, Jesus Christ became poor to make me rich.
*2 Corinthians 8:9* "...though Jesus was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich."
*REASON 3* | By taking human flesh, Jesus Christ took our humanity with all its weaknesses and gave us his divinity with all his power.
Galatians 2:20 "... nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me ... "
*CONFESSIONS AND PRAYERS*

1- Jesus took my infirmities, I refuse to carry on my body what Jesus has already carried on the cross.

2- Jesus took my infirmities, I embrace and appropriate my spiritual, emotional, moral, mental and physical health in the name of Jesus Christ!

3- Jesus took my poverty, I refuse poverty and lack in all its forms. I am appropriating my wealth and prosperity in the Name of Jesus Christ!

4- I have the life of God in me. I have his nature. I have his capacity.

So shall it be
Jesus is Lord
