SCHOOL OF INNER HEALING ... LESSON 11 ...TURNING PAIN INTO PRAISE HEALS AND OPENS DOORS

*READ*

We see an open door in *Acts 16:26*

"Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose.”

*REFLECT*

The context of this text is of Paul and Silas who were beaten because of the Lord Jésus Christ. The Bible says that they were bleeding, chained and jailed. Instead of complaining, crying, grumbling or holding a pity party, they chose to pray and praise.
As they did so, there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose.”

*Listen to this* ... Doors are not opening before you because you choose to focus on the hater instead of the Healer. You choose to hold on to the wound instead of the Lord. You choose to feel the pain instead of filling yourself with praise. You choose to focus on the bleeding of the past instead of the blessing of the future.

By your own choice, you open doors to the devil and close the doors of blessing God has set before you.
In *Numbers 21:9*, the Bible says, " *... If a serpent had bitten any man, *when he looked to the bronze serpent, he lived*."
Healing is a product of the choice of your focus. Yes you are bleeding. Yes you are hurting. Yes you are in pain. Yes he or she did it to you. Now, what next? Where is the object of your focus?

*RESPOND IN PRAISE AND PRAYER*

Choose to close that door to the devil today in the name of Jesus Christ by letting go and praising God; by forgiving and giving God praise.

No matter what is binding you – addiction, depression, debt, your chains can come loose through prayer and praise today
SO SHALL IT BE
