AT THE MOUNTAIN OF RECOVERY AND RESTORATION ... DAY 18 ... I WILL COME DOWN WITH MY TESTIMONY IN MY HAND

THURSDAY 09 AUGUST 2018
I WILL COME DOWN WITH MY TESTIMONY IN MY HAND

*READ*

Exodus 34:29 "And it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tables of testimony in Moses' hand, when he came down from the mount, that Moses wist not that the skin of his face shone while he talked with him."

*REFLECT*

When Moses went to the mountain, it was not for fun or  for leisure or for tourism. He knew why and what he was expecting. He went with a clear and specific purpose. He knew he had no excuse coming down empty handed.

As his expectation was, when he came down from the mountain at the end of the 40 days, my Bible says in Exodus 34:29 "... Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tables of testimony in his' hand".

Not only did he come down with the tables, but he also came changed and with a shining face, "... when he came down from the mount, that Moses wist not that the skin of his face shone while he talked with him."

As we continue our journey at the mountain, my eager, earnest and tireless prayer for someone seriously engaging in prayer is that no one will finish without a notable change, without a testimony to share, without a story to tell, without a prayer answered, without a breakthrough and a turnaround experienced, without a change of level, without a blessing in the hand.

*RESPOND IN PRAYER*

For the remaining days, if you really want to make the most of this holy convocation, please don't be casual but . . .

- Pray FERVENTLY like Epaphras in Colossians 4:12

- Pray DESPERATELY like Jacob who was so desperate to get the blessing that he told the angel, "I will not let thee go, except thou bless me." (Genesis 32:26)

- Pray INTENSIVELY like Bartimaeus who was so desperate to get back his sight that when people were trying to discourage him shouted the more until Jesus stood to settle his case (Mark 10:48)

- Pray SPECIFICALLY like Hannah who was so desperate to conceive that she asked the Lord a baby boy and vowed to give him back to the Lord (1 Samuel 1:11)

SO SHALL IT BE!
JESUS IS LORD!
