AT THE MOUNTAIN OF RECOVERY AND RESTORATION ... DAY 38 ... THE GOD OF SUDDENLY

WEDNESDAY 29 AUGUST 2018

*READ*

*Isaiah 29:5* "Moreover the multitude of thy strangers shall be like small dust, and the multitude of the terrible ones [shall be] as chaff that passeth away: yea, it shall be at an instant suddenly."

*REFLECT*

Read the Bible to and fro and you will realize that God is the God of *suddenly*. He is the God who moves *suddenly*. He is the God who moves swiftly, unexpectedly and without warning. When you least expect, He’ll come shining through! When you are unaware that He is moving, and then it's happened.

When the first church was in the Upper Room, praying and waiting upon the Lord to send the Holy Spirit, God answered them and sent the Holy Spirit *suddenly*. In *Acts 2:2*, it is written, " *Suddenly* there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting."

Another case is when Peter was in prison. The Bible says that the church was praying earnestly for him. Again, God answered their prayer *suddenly*. In *Acts 12:7*, the Bible says, “ *Suddenly* an angel of the Lord appeared and a light shone in the cell...and the chains fell off Peter’s wrists.”

Another case is about Paul and Silas. While they were praising God in prison, it is written in *Acts 16:26* that, " *suddenly* there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and *immediately* all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed."

Take heed. The devil has also his "suddenlies". 

All the " *suddenlies*" we have read happened when the people were expectant and waiting upon the Lord.

*RESPOND IN PRAYER*

*SUDDENLY* Jesus can heal YOU! Grief can be turned to JOY! 

*SUDDENLY* all can be calm!

*SUDDENLY* you can be promoted, doors can be opened, chains can be broken, foundations can be shaken. 

*SUDDENLY* God can bring your special someone to share a life time with…. 

*SUDDENLY* God can make a way where there seems to be NO way! 

*SUDDENLY* God can deliver, reconcile, restore, and provide above and beyond what you could ever imagine.

One touch of God and *SUDDENLY* there is supernatural breakthrough for YOU… your MARRIAGE, or your FAMILY! 

***JUST BE OPENED***JUST BE EXPECTANT***JUST BE SENSITIVE***
