SCHOOL OF FAITH ... DAY 9 ... THE POWER OF RESPONSIBLE FAITH

WEDNESDAY 18 JULY 2018
THE POWER OF RESPONSIBLE FAITH

One thing to know about FAITH is that FAITH is strictly personal.

In Matthew 8:13, Jesus says to the centurion, "...as THOU HAST BELIEVED, [so] be it done unto thee."

In Matthew 9:29, Jesus says, "According to YOUR FAITH be it unto you."

Faith is not running away from my responsibility. Faith is taking responsibility for the happening of my desired miracle, breakthrough and turnaround. It is irresponsible to do nothing and expect God to do everything for me. That's not faith. Faith is when I do my part of the covenant and let God to do his part.

The same way no one can eat for you, the same way no one can believe for you. Yet people may pray for you but it doesn't withdraw you from your personal responsibility to believe.

STOP LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO BLAME OR CONDEMN (the pastor, the church, the members of the church, the devil, the society, ...) START TAKING RESPONSIBILITY OVER YOUR FAITH AND PRAY TODAY FOR IT.

PRAYERS = PRAYERS= PRAYERS =

1st case : Job was offering sacrifices for his sons but they were spending their whole life drinking and partying not praying. When the devil came to hit them, the sacrifices of their father could not cover them. They all died.
Pray the Lord to free you from distraction, to help you be focused so that you will not be victim of the assault of the devil like Job's sons.

2nd case : Before Jesus could heal the paralytic, he asked him a question: " Wilt thou be made whole?" (John 5:6). Why ? Because God cannot force his ways on anybody and He can do nothing to whoever is not willing.

Pray the Lord for your will. If you struggle to be willing, pray for it. Tell the Lord what you want him to do for you.

3rd case : Before Jesus could heal the two blind, he asked them :"Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord. Then he touched their eyes, saying, ACCORDING TO YOUR FAITH be it unto you. (Matthew 9:28-29)
Pray the Lord to help you believe that He is able. Pray against unbelief, doubt, inconsistency, ... What do you believe the Lord for? Express it in your prayer today.

4th case : They were twelve in the boat. They all saw Jesus Christ walking on the water. Jesus never told them anything about it. But only one called Peter had faith that he could walk the same way Jesus was walking. He therefore took his responsibility to believe, to pray, to step out of the boat and to walk on the water to meet with Jesus Christ while others were watching. (Matthew 14:27-29)
Pray the Lord to help you not to be in the side of those who watch but of those who step out to make the difference in their generation. Pray the Lord to help you overcome the fear of being different from others. Pray and pray!

SO SHALL IT BE
JESUS IS LORD
