SCHOOL OF FAITH ... DAY 8 ... FAITH FOR THE IMPOSSIBLE

TUESDAY 17 JULY 2018
FAITH FOR THE IMPOSSIBLE

In Matthew 17:20, Jesus says, "I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

Jesus is telling us again today that "if we have faith, ..., nothing shall be impossible unto us". What does Jesus teach us again today ?

Jesus is introducing us to the realm of the faith for the impossible. Jesus is launching us to the level where IMPOSSIBLE BECOMES NOTHING FOR OUR FAITH. Jesus is initiating us to remove THE WORD IMPOSSIBLE FROM OUR VOCABULARY.

3 KEYS TO THE FAITH FOR THE IMPOSSIBLE

But, the question today is "how does the faith for the impossible operate?" or "what are the keys to make the faith for the impossible work?"

1st key : Faith for the impossible doesn't speak about the mountain. It impossible speaks to the mountain.
... ye shall say unto this mountain ...
In Zechariah 4:7, Zerubbabel was facing the mountain hindering the rebuilding of the temple. Nowhere we see him complaining about it. He is even not talking to God about the mountain. But he is speaking to the mountain challenging it saying : "Who art thou, O great mountain? BEFORE ZERUBBABEL THOU SHALT BECOME A PLAIN... ".

2nd key : Faith for the impossible doesn't bow before the mountain and is not moved by the mountain. It makes the mountain bow and moves the mountain.
Jesus says, "... it shall remove..."

When facing Goliath, David didn't pray God about him. He lifted his God above Goliath. After that, he spoke and issued a public verdict against him in the Name of the Lord saying ... "This day will the Lord deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee..." (1 Samuel 17:45-47)

3rd key : Faith for the impossible doesn't see adversity. It sees opportunity.

That faith doesn't see obstacle. It sees miracle. It doesn't consider the mountain as an impossibility. It considers the mountain as an opportunity.
Jesus says, "...nothing shall be impossible unto you."
CONCLUSION AND PRAYERS

Today, exercise your faith.

PRAYER 1 | You have spoken about that mountain for so long. It is time to exercise your faith and speak to it like Zerubbabel and say, "WHO ARE YOU MOUNTAIN (MENTION IT..) BEFORE ME, YOU WILL BECOME A PLAIN IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!"

PRAYER 2 | You have bowed before that mountain for so long. It is time to exercise your faith and speak to it like David dit to Goliath and say, "MOUNTAIN, THE LORD WILL DELIVER YOU INTO MY HAND, I WILL SMITE YOU TODAY IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!"

PRAYER 3 | You have seen one side of that mnountain for so long. It i time to exercise your faith and pray that the Lord will open your spiritual eyes to see the opportunity behind that adversity. PRAY IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!

SO SHALL IT BE
JESUS IS LORD
