The Son of Man Must Be Lifted Up
SCRIPTURES
Proverbs 30:19 - "The way of an eagle in the air; the way of a serpent upon a rock"
John 3:14 "And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up"
Why Must the Son of Man "Be Lifted Up"?
In the animal world, we learn that the eagle does not fight the snake on the ground but in the air. It picks it up into the sky and changes the battle ground, and then it releases the snake into the sky.
This reality is confirmed in Scriptures in Proverbs 30:19 where the Bible says
- "The way of an eagle in the air; the way of a serpent upon a rock"
The reason why the eagle fights the snake in the air is simply because in the air, the snake has no stamina, no power, and no balance. In the air, the snake is useless, weak, and vulnerable - unlike on the ground where it is powerful, wise, and deadly.
In the same way, in order for Jesus Christ to win the battle over Satan, demons, the powers of darkness and the principalities, he had to be lifted up on the cross as he confirms it in John 3:14
"And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up"
and in John 12:32
"And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all [men] unto me."
THAT'S WHY WHEN HE WAS DYING ON THE CROSS, HIS LAST CRY WAS "IT IS FINISHED" (John 19:30)
WHAT TO DO?
LESSON 1 : STOP BEING EARTHLY. START BEING HEAVENLY
The ground is the comfort zone of the enemy. That's why in order to keep you under his control, he will always try to pull you down in sin, in depression, in earthly things, in illicit sex, in alcohol, in bitterness, ...
Do not ever expect to overcome the battle over the enemy in his comfort zone.
LESSON 2 : STOP FIGHTING FROM THE GROUND. START FIGHTING FROM THE AIR.
The same way the eagle changes the battle ground and the same way Christ was lifted up on the cross to defeat the devil, the same way, change the battle grounds and take your fight into the spiritual realm by praying, praising, worshiping, fasting, reading the Bible, fellowshipping with the saints, serving the Lord and when you are in the spiritual realm God takes over your battles.

CONFESSION 1 : “IN CHRIST, I AM AN EAGLE. I BELONG TO THE AIR. I THEREFORE TREAD UPON SERPENTS AND SCORPIONS AND OVER ALL THE POWER OF THE ENEMY, AND NOTHING SHALL BY ANY MEANS HURT ME IN THE NAME OF JESUS-CHRIST”
Pray with Luke 10:19
CONFESSION 2 “I TREAD DOWN THE WICKED; THEY ARE ASHES UNDER MY FEET IN THE NAME OF JESUS-CHRIST”
Pray with Malachi 4:3
CONFESSION 3 : “I CLOSE THE DOOR TO EVERY DEMONIC INFLUENCE THAT WOULD ATTEMPT TO COME INTO MY LIFE IN THE NAME OF JESUS”
Pray with Isaiah 66:17
CONFESSION 4 : "JESUS HAS GIVEN ME AUTHORITY TO TRAMPLE ON SERPENTS AND SCORPIONS, AND OVER ALL THE POWER OF THE ENEMY, AND NOTHING SHALL BY ANY MEANS HURT ME.

CONFESSION 5 : IN RIGHTEOUSNESS I SHALL BE ESTABLISHED, AND I SHALL BE FAR FROM OPPRESSION, FOR I WILL NOT FEAR; AND FROM TERROR, FOR IT SHALL NOT COME NEAR ME.
