"DON'T DELAY ME"
Genesis 24:56 He said to them, "Don’t delay me now that the LORD has made my trip successful. Let me go back to my master."
By saying "DON'T DELAY ME", The servant of Abraham was refusing to be distracted after having successfully accomplished his mission.
WHAT IS DELAY ?

To delay is to make (someone or something) late or slow. To delay is to put off to a later time; to defer; to postpone:
Delay in another hand is defined as a situation in which something happens later than it should.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THERE IS DELAY?
1- Delay causes things to not happen in the appointed time.
2- Delay can cause growth to slow down.
3- Delay can create frustration
5- Delay can create distraction

WHAT CAUSES DELAY?
Israel was to enter into the promise land after 2 weeks but they took 40 years because of their lack of faith.

2- Delay can be caused by our mismanagement of resources, opportunities, times and seasons
In Luke 19:44, Jesus rebukes his people for not knowing the time of their visitation. He says,
"And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation."
3- Delay can be caused by our lack of determination, by our postponement mentality, by our laziness and by our lack of commitment.
4- Delay can be caused by the forces of darkness (devil, demons, evil spirits, distraction, ...)
Daniel's prayers were answered the very first day but it delayed for 21 days because of the interference of the powers of darkness as we can read in Daniel 10:12-13
"Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia."
WHAT TO DO ?
PRAYER 1 | PRAY THAT THE LORD WILL SEND YOU SUPERNATURAL HELP FROM ABOVE FOR SUPERNATURAL SPEED
1st thing : KEEP AND WATCH OVER YOUR HEART DILIGENTLY
Sometimes, what we call delay can actually be the test of God over our hearts.When the people of Israel thought and believed wrongly that Moses delayed, they made for themselves a golden calf. In each one of our heart there's a golden calf which appears only when we think that God delays.

(Exodus 32:1 KJVS)
2nd thing : GOD IS NEVER LATE. THERE IS NO DELAY WITH GOD. WAIT PATIENTLY UPON THE LORD AND NEVER USE SHORTCUT.
Patience is not about how long you wait but it is about how you wait. It is written in Psalm 40:1,
3rd thing : PRAY AGAINST POWERS OF DARKNESS CAUSING DELAY
"I waited patiently for the Lord ; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry."
