40 DAYS AT JESUS' FEET MIRACLE 30 "JESUS, JUST SAY ONE WORD"

MIRACLE 30 : JESUS THE CENTURION'S SERVANT
Reading Matthew 8: 5-13; Luke 7:1-10

Today's miracle is about a master who engages prayer for his servant who was dear to him. His prayer of faith amazed Jesus so much that Jesus says openly about him "I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel." (Luke 7:9)

What was his prayer of faith? In Luke 7:7, he says to Jesus, 

"SAY THE WORD, and my servant must be healed."

The centurion believed that the Word of Jesus was as powerful as Jesus was. He showed his honor toward Jesus Christ by his honor toward his Word. He believed that just one Word was enough to settle the case.

From the centurion prayer of faith, the Lord is teaching us the following lessons :

1st lesson : Jesus is teaching us today that no matter what we go through, the answer and the power we need to tackle the challenges of life is in the Word of God.

1) Demons are cast out with the Word

"When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and HE CAST OUT THE SPIRITS WITH [HIS] WORD, and healed all that were sick" (Matthew 8:16)

2) Wind and storm are silenced by the Word

"And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and REBUKED THE WINDS AND THE SEA; and there was a great calm." (Matthew 8:26)

3) Barren fig trees are withered instantly with the Word

"And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward forever. And PRESENTLY THE FIG TREE WITHERED AWAY." (Matthew 21:19)

4) Sick are healed with the Word

"And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, [so] be it done unto thee. AND HIS SERVANT WAS HEALED IN THE SELFSAME HOUR." (Matthew 8:13)

2nd lesson : Jesus is teaching us that when like the centurion we take his word seriously by faith, he will honor us in return by answering us speedily.

Though Jesus didn't go with the centurion physically, he  believed that just one word from Jesus' mouth was enough to bring healing.  

QUESTIONS / Do you take the Word Jesus speaks to you seriously? Do you meditate on it? Do you declare it? Do you act on it? Do you expect it to be fulfilled? Or do you take more seriously the reports of the doctors? the reports of the politicians?

😔 BY YOUR FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST, YOU HAVE THE SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY TO SPEAK AGAINST ANY MOUNTAIN AND BLOCKAGE (demonic powers, principalities, authorities, ...) HINDERING THE JOURNEY OF YOUR LIFE

PRAY WITH Zechariah 4:7 "Who [art] thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel [thou shalt become] a plain ..."

PRAY WITH Isaiah 57:14 "Take up the stumblingblock out of the way of my people."

😔 LIKE EZEKIEL, YOU HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO PROPHESY DIVINE LIFE UPON THE DRY BONES (everything dead in your life, dead relationship, dead dreams, ...) IN YOUR LIFE

😔 LIKE JESUS , YOU HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO ARISE AND REBUKE ANY WIND AND RAGING WATER THREATENING THE BOAT OF YOUR LIFE, YOUR MARRIAGE, YOUR JOB,...)

PRAY WITH Luke 8:24 "...Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm."

😔 BY YOUR FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST, YOU HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO CALL FORTH ONE BY ONE THE THINGS YOUR HEART DESIRES AND EXPECTS FROM THE LORD

PRAY WITH Romans 4:17 : " God  gives life to dead people and calls into existence things that don’t even exist."
