MIRACLE 26 : JESUS WALKS ON WATER

Readings Matthew 14:22-33; Mark 6: 45-52; John 6:16-21 

In the Gospel, Jesus performed many miracles with his hands. Now we see Jesus performing a miracle with his feet stepping and dominating the waters of the sea.

In the 4 Gospels we discover that Jesus' feet symbolizes his dominion over the challenges of life, over the desperations of the heart and over the powers of Satan. Jesus' feet symbolize also his mastership over his disciples.

Today, in the Name of Jesus Christ, any challenge tormenting your life, causing you sleepless nights, stealing your joy and peace, Jesus will put his feet on it and subdue it.

WHAT DOES THIS TEXT TEACH US ABOUT JESUS' FEET

LESSON 1 : Jesus teaches us that he has the power to subdue all the challenges we cast at his feet

"And great multitudes came unto Him, having with them those who were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus’ feet, and He healed them, insomuch that the multitude wondered when they saw the dumb to speak, and the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see. And they glorified the God of Israel." (Matthew 15:30-31)

Question/ What are the challenges you are confronted to in your health? family? finances? country? Today, cast them at the feet of Jesus

LESSON 2 : Jesus teaches us that at his feet, anybody who comes with a desperate heart will get comfort.

"And behold, a woman in the city, who was a sinner, when she learned that Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisee’s house, brought an alabaster box of ointment, and stood at His feet behind Him weeping; and began to wash His feet with tears and wiped them with the hair of her head, and kissed His feet and anointed them with the ointment." (Luke 7:37-38)

Question/ Is there anything that is a concern for your life? Is there anything that breaks your heart and makes you cry? Pour your heart at Jesus' feet.

LESSON 3 : Jesus teaches us that at his feet, the devil and all his hosts of demons are defeated and made powerless. 

"And they went out to see what had taken place, and they came to Jesus and saw the man out of whom the evil spirits had gone, seated, clothed and with full use of his senses, at the feet of Jesus; and fear came on them." (Luke 8:35)

"Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you." (Luke 10:19)

"And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [be] with you. Amen." (Romans 16:20)

LESSON 4 : Jesus teaches us that at his feet is where his disciples must seat and submit themselves to hear and receive the Word Of God 

"Yea, he loved the people; all his saints [are] in thy hand: and they sat down at thy feet; [every one] shall receive of thy words." (Deuteronomy 33:3)

"And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus’ feet, and heard his word." (Luke 10:39)

PRAYER 1 : LET US PRAY TO BRING UNDER THE FEET OF JESUS ALL OUR PERSONAL CHALLENGES AS WELL AS THE CHALLENGES OF OUR WORLD 

Lord Jesus, we bring under your feet the challenges of our world is facing today: 

- Terrorism - Epidemic diseases - Earthquakes - Wars - Israel-Palestine conflict - Hunger/famine - Children abuse - Poverty - Behavior disorder - Pornography - Joblessness - Suicide - Homosexuality - False spiritual doctrines - Freemasonry - Women abuse - Corruption - Human right - Human dignity - Abortion - Lawlessness - Global warming - Climate change . . .

Pray with Philippians 4:6

PRAYER 2 : LET US POUR OUR HEART DESPERATELY BEFORE THE LORD FOR WHATEVER IS BREAKING OUR HEART

Lord Jesus, the same way this woman poured her heart at your feet, I come before you to pour my heart at your feet for this case (mention it): - loneliness - joblessness - financial concern - relationship breakdown - health issue - children issue - husband or wife issue - ...

Pray with Psalms 62:8; Lamentations 2:19

PRAYER 3 : LET US TAKE AUTHORITY AND BRING UNDER THE FEET OF JESUS AND UNDER OUR FEET ANY DEMONIC INFLUENCE STANDING OUR WAY AND INTERFERING WITH OUR BLESSINGS.

- In the Name of Jesus Christ, let any demonic or satanic stumblingblock be crushed under the feet of Jesus Christ and taken up out of my way.

Pray with Isaiah 57:14

- In the name of Jesus Christ, let any prince of Persia withstanding my angel be crushed under the feet of Jesus Christ so that God's answer to my prayers can be released today.

Pray with Daniel 10:13

- In the name of Jesus Christ, let all the gates of hell fighting the church, fighting the faith, fighting the spiritual growth of the believers, resisting the blessings of the believers be crushed today and right now under the feet of Jesus.
