IT IS WRITTEN

Proverbs 23:18 "For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off."

• THERE IS AN END TO LONG LASTING BARENESS

25 years of bareness came to an end and Sara's story changed in one day 

"For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, AT THE SET TIME of which God had spoken to him." (Genesis 21:2)

• THERE IS AN END TO LONG LASTING HARDSHIP AND POVERTY

20 years of hardship into Laban's house came to an end and Jacob's story changed in one day 

Genesis 31: 13 I am the God of Bethel, where thou anointedst the pillar, and where thou vowedst a vow unto me: NOW ARISE, get thee out from this land, and return unto the land of thy kindred. 

• THERE IS AN END TO LONG LASTING SLAVERY

430 years of slavery in Egypt came to an end and the story of the whole nation changed in one day. 

Exodus 12:41 And it came to pass AT THE END of the four hundred and thirty years, EVEN THE SELFSAME DAY it came to pass, that all the hosts of the LORD went out from the land of Egypt.

• THERE IS AN END TO LONG LASTING PARALYSIS AND SICKNESS

38 years of paralysis came to an end and the story of the paralytic changed in one day.

John 5:9 . . . And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and ON THE SAME DAY was the sabbath.

• THERE IS AN END TO INFIRMITY

18 years of infirmity came to an end and the story of the woman changed in one day.

Luke 13: 11 And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself. 12  And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity. 13 And he laid his hands on her: and IMMEDIATELY she was made straight, and glorified God. 

WEEK DEDICATION PRAYER 

What is this long lasting issue you would like to see God to put an end to?

PRAYER 1 Cry unto the Lord this whole week with faith trusting and believing in God's ability

• The woman of Canaan cried to the Lord despite the opposition of the crowd and the Lord put an end to her misfortune (Matthew 15:22)

• The two blind men cried to the Lord despite the opposition of the crowd and the Lord put an end to their blindness (Matthew 20:30)

PRAYER 2 Give glory to the Lord who is the Alpha and Omega. Give glory to the Lord who is the beginning and the ending.

“I Am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.” (Rev. 1:8).

PRAYER 3 Pray the Lord to grant you unshakable faith in God's ability

"The angel of the Lord said to Abraham “…Is anything to hard for the Lord?  At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.” (Gen. 18:14).

PRAYER 4 Pray the Lord our Father for your expectation to be kept alive and strong until the end # # #

Proverbs 23:18 For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off.

- Caleb kept his expectation alive and at the end he got his promise land  (Joshua 14:6-13)

- Simeon kept his expectation alive and at the end he saw the fulfilment of the promise (Luke 2:29)
