⏩ COVENANT OF THE OUTSTRETCHED HAND OF GOD ⏪ DAY 2 "GOD'S HAND AND ANGELIC MINISTRY"

In this season dedicated to the outstretched hand of God, it is important for us to know that whenever God's hand is stretched, his angels are also involved. This is what we read in Psalm 103:20, 

"Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, HEARKENING UNTO THE VOICE OF HIS WORD." (Psalm 103:20 KJV)

With that understanding, it appears clearly that God himself is the chief commander of his angels who are ever ready to execute his commandments on the earth as it is written in Psalms 91:11,

"For he shall give his angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways."

BIBLICAL TRUTHS ABOUT ANGELS

The ministry of the angels is well defined in the Bible:

• Every believer genuinely born again has an angel assigned  by God to him to serve him (Matthew 18:10, Acts 12:15 and Hebrews 1:14)

• Angels are appointed by God to watch over the believers (Psalm 91:11)

• Angels are appointed by God to guide the believers and show them the way (Acts 8)

• Angels are appointed by God to protect the believers (Daniel 6:21-22)

• Angels are appointed by God to unveil to the believers the hidden things (mysteries or secrets) of God (Daniel 9:21-22)

WHAT DO YOU DO TO ENJOY THE MINISTRY OF ANGELS ?

1) ANGELS MINISTER TO YOU WHEN YOUR MOUTH CONFESSES AND PROCLAIMS THE WORD OF GOD

From Scriptures, it is established that angels listen to us speaking God's Word. And when we speak God's Word, angels rush to perform it in our lives.

"Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, HEARKENING UNTO THE VOICE OF HIS WORD." (Psalm 103:20 KJV)

2) ANGELS MINISTER TO YOU WHEN YOU ENGAGE PRAYER ON YOUR ALTAR BOTH PERSONALLY AND CORPORATELY AS THE BODY OF CHRIST

In Acts 12:5, the Bible says that the church in Jerusalem prayed for Peter when he was in prison. By their prayer, the angelic ministration was made available to deliver Peter out of prison.

3) ANGELS MINISTER TO YOU WHEN YOU ARE ON DUTY SERVING GOD AND THE INTERESTS OF HIS KINGDOM

Luke 1:38 "And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her." 

The questions this day are :

• What does your mouth confess day after day? Do you confess victory or defeat? Do you confess blessing or curse? Do you confess glory or shame?

• What is the state of your prayer altar? Is it hot or cold? It is whole or broken?

• Are you serving God? Are you on duty serving his interests and the interests of his kingdom?

PRAYER INTERCESSORY GUIDELINES

PRAYER 1 | PRAY THAT THE FATHER FILLS YOUR MOUTH WITH HIS WORD

IT IS WRITTEN in Ezekiel 3:3 "And he said unto me, Son of man, cause thy belly to eat, and fill thy bowels with this roll that I give thee. Then did I eat [it]; and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness."

DECLARE | Father, fill my mouth with your Word

PRAYER 2 | PRAY THE FATHER THAT YOUR PRAYER WILL BE CONTINUALLY ON FIRE

IT IS WRITTEN in Leviticus 6:13 "The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out."

DECLARE | Father, by your grace and power, let my prayer altar be continually on fire

PRAYER 3 | PRAY THE FATHER FOR THE SUPERNATURAL GRACE TO SERVE HIM

IT IS WRITTEN in Acts 6:4 "But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word."

DECLARE | Father, by your grace and power, help me to serve you unconditionally, unreservedly and wholeheartedly.
